good day all. I have a maxwest 4000 android phone www .phonearena.com/phones/Maxwest-Android-4000_id8006 - link
the launcher keeps force closing when it boots up.. and when it do boot up, the phone automatically reboots on its own'
when i try to access bootloader by holding (vol. up) and power buttons, it keeps going into a bootloop.. however, when i hold (vol. down) and power button, it has a phone icon with a little yellow triangle (i suppose that means the phone is in fastboot mode)
any help on restoring my phone would be greatly appreciated.....

Good day all, as the title states the phone is stuck at the fastboot screen, won't power on unless its plugged into my laptop and the volume or power keys don't work, this all started because I had a rom flashed, it lagged and got stuck in landscape mode and the power button stopped working, I go to flash a new rom (i'm assuming the download or whatever was bad and phone would get stuck after Google Logo) now it will only power on and go into fastboot if I press Volume up + power but the volume keyes won't work, any help is appreciated
Dear experts,
Phone model: Karbonn A9+
Rom: Custom Rom Hyperion Skyfall
When I hold the power button, the phone turns on and off, No problems with that.
However, when I press volume Up+Power, I get a green screen saying FASTBOOT at the top left corner and that’s it. Nothing happens from that point.
when I press volume Up+Power, I get a green screen and holding the buttons past that I get a red screen saying RECOVERY at the top left corner and that’s it. Nothing happens from that point.
However, when I press volume down+Power, I get a black screen saying ENTRY QPST DOWNLOAD at the top and that’s it. Nothing happens from that point.
I have to remove the battery to turn my phone off.
Moreover, I tried a factory reset erasing internal and external storage, after erasing when the phone is rebooted and gets stuck in the start-up screen. I removed the battery and powered on the mobile ,no problem at all the phone turns on but not resettted.
What I did?
Tried to install latest CWM through recovery, updated it but I pressed something instead of restart your device.
What should I do to make everything work again? I am a noob in Android, please be extra patient and illustrative
Many thanks in advance
Unusual bootloop - can't access recovery OR fastboot but loops on "optimzing apps"
I had my US version OpO 64GB working with CM12 for quite a while, rooted and bootloader unlocked with TWRP (possibly 2.8.6) installed, then some months ago I tried upgrading to CM12.1 through CM updater. This failed miserably - The phone started bootlooping on "Optimizing apps n of N" - as soon as it finished optimizing apps, the phone would reboot and start optimizing again. Booting to safe-mode (Power + VolUpDown) also fails in the same way (though optimizing fewer apps).
I tried rebooting to recovery mode holding Power + VolDown but it just gives a quick buzz (vibration motor) at the "1+" screen and reboots. The same thing happens when I try to boot to fastboot mode with Power + VolUp. So I'm completely stuck. All the guides show being able to boot either to fastboot or recovery (soft-brick) or else the screen being completely black/unresponsive (hard-brick). My phone is neither of these!
I got frustrated enough that I've let it sit on the shelf for the past 6 months, but now I'd like to fix this. All help appreciated.

Did you try clearing the cache and doing a factory reset ?

That's impossible for me to do since I can't get to launcher or recovery.
No acess to recovery?? Then better take it to service center... Atleast can u boot to fastboot mode or adb accesible then use oneplus one toolkits

Install oneplus tool kit, while optimising apps it gets dectected by pc, just make it reboot mode & do reset.... Dnt worry this can be fixed, if all these seems messy then take it to service center

while things are loading, have u tried to hold vol up + power for 10 seconds or until the screen turns off and then hold vol down + power button until the oneplus logo?

Yes, just tried it. Same thing as described in my original post. When I hold power+volup the screen goes blank. I switch to power+voldown until the 1+ logo. At that point:
1. If I continue to hold the power+voldown key through the 1+ logo, the screen goes blank briefly, the phone vibrates once and reboots. If I continue to hold the power+voldown key, the vibrate&reboot cycle continues indefinitely
2. If I let go of either the power button, the voldown button, or both at or before the 1+ logo, the phone boots normally and goes to "Android is starting... Optimizing app n of 119). When the optimization finishes, the phone instantly reboots.
It's like the phone recovery is gone or inaccessible. Could this have to do with the phone tampering setting? As I said, I had this phone rooted and bootloader unlocked, working fine with CM12 for some time before trying an in-place upgrade to 12.1. That's when things went south.

Hi,
I've been running a custom Rom on my Android without any trouble. I've never had an issue rebooting it. Today, I accidentally clicked Reboot Recovery instead of Reboot and it's been stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Logo for half an hour. I've tried pressing Vol+ / Vol- / Power / Home together to force it off. It reboots and still stays stuck on the Logo. I'm unable to get into Download Mode and I'm unable to get into Recovery Mode.
I'm wondering what I can do to fix this?
Make it reboot, and as soon as your screen turns black switch to holding volume up and home (Not the power button).
You should be able to reach download mode.
Hello
My stock A515F/DS received an OTA about 3 days ago. After it restarted to finish the update, it got stuck in the boot logo. It will reboot on itself from time to time, and I was able to reboot it manually by pressing vol down + power, but I can't get into recovery or donwload mode (by pressing vol up as soon as it reboots). The screen flickers for a moment, but it reboots again. We are under quarantine by federal law so I can't get my phone to samsung. Is there any way you guys know to flash it without going into recovery/download mode? I don't mind losing my data, everything is on my drive account, I just want my phone again
Thanks in advance
I think there is no way without entering in download mode or bootloader. Try with this:
When the phone is on, no matter which state, press Vol down + power until it reboots. As soon as the screen goes black, change to Vol. up+power. If this is successful, you can then select Reboot to bootloader to enter in download mode.
If this doesn't work, the next solution is waiting the end of quarantine

Been trying this since day one, it seems like the phone tries to go into recovery as the screen flickers, but this lasts for less than a second and it reboots itself again.
