Hi Team,
I recently bought a Spice Stellar Mi -425 & one of the best feature was that it was Android 4.0 ICS upgradable.
Its been a while after its released in the India but, No Update yet from the Mannufacturer.
Can some one help me how to go about the same.

I think this is d worst mobile company in india. ..u know i have buyed this mobile 1.5 months ago....nd since dat time there is not even a single update available for this mobile....i have a micromax A75 at the same time i buyed dat mobile....nd dat mobile s rather good dan spice mi-425 as it has got more than 3 system updates.....

Spice Mi425 will not be getting any ICS update until Spice launches its pre planned ICS Stellar phone Mi 500.
I am trying to create a Paranoid Jelly Bean ROM for Spice Mi425. I have also talked to the local service center but they are not providing me with Flashing software and firmware package.
For the Guys who believe that Micromax A70 is better than Spice Mi425, Spice Mi 425 is the best Android phone in its class. I have both Spice and Micromax phones and compared it, performance is better on Spice. Also, the updates released for Micromax A70 was to fix the bugs in the previous software,

You can install Holo Launcher and lock screen to get a ICS like feel.
Yup man, even i use the same Spice Mi-425, it rocks, best in its class... even when compared to micromax,karbonn,etc.
Updates are surely gonna come ask they release their next ascendant product Mi-500

dear all, i'm having spice MI-720 tablet, although i unlocked it today, but unfortunately while removing additional apk / bloatware , i removed some system android apk too , so now my tablet start .. screen logo seen , and then restart ...again start and resart....too much noise of restarting and restarting... how can i go to the previous position, though i m having ubuntu linux and windows xp on my pc , but can't modify / see internal memory of tablet, i also try to put some images on sd card but tablet not responding to it,,,so now should i go to service center or meet u all ?? pl show me the way to enjoy again my android 2.2.2 froyo tablet... thanking you all....

Android 4.0 ICS Now Available For Spice Mi 425
Last thursday spice released ICS update for Spice Mi 425 but the update can only be done through Spice service centers....:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
No OTA update , they claim to give better battery backup , enhanced UI , Better signal reception and much more in their update...
I am very eager for the update but don't have time to visit Spice service center, So plz some one post the update here in XDA , And all Mi 425 users need some Custom roms so plz developers work on it .. God Bless U....:angel::angel::angel::angel:

There are custom roms that work for tecno n7. And I'm using one right now. These roms ain't ported for tecno n7 but for prestigio 5000 and aris 501... But since those phones have the same build with n7,they work perfectly. Right now I'm using a note n9005 ported rom. 4.4.2 kitkat.
If you know about flashing, go to ucupbudug dot wordpress dot com. The language is indonasian but download any rom there but u can try the note 3 v1. Don't use the updated version yet i.e v2 because you'll have to do backup of the v1 to be used if the v2 will work.

hi i am looking for a working tecno M7 custom rom... noe seem to work.please help
my phone is rooted and recovery is done but the roms keep giving me an error everytime i try to flash them. i a a bit tech savy please help.

Hello @Lanreallenjay: I don't know wether you can explain more on the Stock ROM you said can work for Tecno N7? I have a SUPER-BRICKED Tecno N7 and I want to fix it. I neither have a MTK backup for it nor a working Tecno N7 phone nearby. I'll appreciate it if you can explain further on how one can use that backup you mentioned. (I don't mind a step by step explanation). Thank you in advance.

There are no stable custom roms.. all are just modified stock roms!!
You should just mod your own stock rom & wait until there's any stable rom for our core
Who working for custom rom? Like cyanogenmod ?

Monster$ rom is great bro. Im using it for months.. to fix the language issue on every startup I made a profile on tasker that will set my default language to english on boot, Install super user via cwm and you can download the multi windows feature via xposed framework

Rooting Canvas 6 pro:-
We can root Canvas 6 pro by two methods as follows
1. Kingroot 4.9 apk
2. Installing Su through Custom recovery( recoveries attached)
Custom ROMS for Canvas 6 Pro:-
I have ported three to four roms like AMIGO,FLYME,XUI But they have some major bugs camera,flashlight so it will take some time to release

Click on build number in about phone - multiple times, you'll get developer options in settings.
2. Download and install kingroot apk.
3. Press click to root once you open the apk.

Tried every tutorial but unable to port... Everytime stuck on some steps..
Bro I think porting works only if the kernel is the same... I'm sure ud be successful if you use roms which use Stock or Stock modified kernels.... Then again I'm just a noob and I haven't the faintest idea about coding ...

yup i know this... so tried cm 12 for xiomi redmi note 3 (mtk6795) version.. But failed. That thing wont work.....
By the way these phones are identical in every specs. If you wish to port, try the ones made for xiomi, work would be a lot lesser... ☺
@ANANDH16 can you please upload the META-INF of stock ROM ....need updater-script ...
and also can you post the way to unlock boot loader....after fastboot OEM unlock phone goes into bootloop and even the recovery is corrupted
Just a quick note, use supersume to get rid of all the chinese crap installed. It will slow down your phone and is almost certainly violating your privacy.

Full dark material everywhere.....Settings Dialer Framework Contacts SystemUI Dialog Just everything White is Dark....

I am using a Yureka Note(YU 6000) which has the stock ROM which is Android Lollipop, can you please get me and others Android Marshmallow because we want to unlock more of our smartphone's features and UI. For me I just want to upgrade on Android M it doesn't matter which use interface you guys develop whether it is Color OS, Fun OS, etc.

There is not much resources aboutyu yureka note on Internet. So there is no way to get a stock recovery or rom.Anyone has pc can easily make TWRP for yu yureka note.just by few simple step s with easy magic installer.use this guide. After that backup TWRP via flashify and go to Android data com.con.... Flashify like folder and get TWRP .img and post on xda via drive.
Note. I don't have pc , otherwise I'll make it for you.
If anyone has flashed wrong recovery as like recovery for yu yureka there are unable to do factory data reset orany action.i have stock recovery for yu yureka note , below is drive link.flash it via flashify app on play store.

You can use flashfire instead but it not a solution.
I have also heard that Android with same kernel version has same custom recovery.you can search TWRP for .... Yu6000 kernel version (in about phone).Then he gets like pixel XL TWRP recovery.He can download and flash it with flashify.plse make TWRP.........

After rooting u can install Xposed modules which can transform it(not fully) to nougat or Oreo but it eats lots of battery and sometimes the device lags. I can say so because I have done this, customization is really good in Xposed modules, u can literally customize ur settings, lock screen, reconfigure volume buttons, expand the volume profile, change the navbar(I changed it to S8 navbar).

Xposed module sometime soft brick the phone thats why iam not installing any xposed framework this cause phone laggy. Can you develop rom for it.

Hardware is the problem it's not supporting marshmallow and no chance of nougat.
This is Dolby Atmos. I have installed it on my YU6000 after rooting, it will be stable even after unrooting. Just flash it through TWRP. Uninstall zip file is also with it.

But there are all other phone which have same mediatek mt 6753t processor for other phones roms are available. I saw on internet that android o will come for this device at the end of 2017 or early 2018. Please check.
