[Q] I need the ROM - LG Optimus Pro

Hi there! I'm sorry for my english, but i'm italian.
Today i've tried to backup my ROM because i wanted to try to change it into CM7. I've rooted my phone, i've installed "Rom Manager", i've installed the "Clockworkmod" that comes with "Rom Manager" and then i've started the backup... Suddenly the phone comes black. It was OFF. I've tried to switch on the device, but after the LG's logo, a blank screen comes out. So i've tried to boot it into download mode, i've tried to start a factory reset, bot nothing happens... After, i've found a guide on this forum that talks about a similar situation on the Optimus S. So i've tried to start the device into "Emergency Mode" and it start! Now i've got a yellow screen that says: "Emergency Mode!!"... Now the PC recognizes the usb interface of the device, and now i think that i can upload the new firmware by KDZ_FW_UPD, but i've got an answer....
Where i can find the rom needed?

Can you please tell us what did you do to start in 'Emergency Mode' ?
Please post the the detailed steps. I want to backup my 'stock ROM' before i attempt any device critical modifications.

ROM Manager is not compatible with the LG Optimus series of phones. You can use it to install CWM, but attempting to backup will soft-brick the phone. The only solution is to flash the appropriate KDZ using LG's KDZ flasher. If you have an LG Optimus, I strongly recommend you avoid ROM manager (though, as I said, if you're careful you can use it to flash CWM recovery). Make sure you have the correct KDZ file. BTW, the black screen you're seeing is fastboot, so if you know what you're doing, you might be able to repair your installation there.

Hello Friends,
i have a big Problem with my LG Optimus 3D 920. I updated the Baseband in Fastboot mode and now the Display is Black and my PC show me only the Omap driver. I can't enter download mode and recovery menü. The LGmobile Support tool and LG Flashtool don't see my phone. Now my question, what can I do?? pls help me...

I have found one, but don't now if is the right one. The flashtool don't show me the model no.

listen bro your phone doesn't go to download mode so flash with omap and then flash regularly just read the tutorial

"P920 users should run LG FlashTool and load BOOTV21E_AP.bin (ONLY THE AP.BIN FILE) and keep it open but NOT ready for flashing."
What I have to do exactly? I open the tool, load the dll file, and than select the BOOTV21E_AP then click OK? Or load it only?

click OK, and then click on the big Arrow on the top left. it will show you Ready in yellow background..
Now connect the phone in OMAPP mode.

Thanks to everyone who helped. I dont Insert the Battery where I've had to. Now I have read it again and see the phone enter the Download mode. I'm flashing the phone now. I think it would be start Thanks for your help..

I have the same problem. I decided to upgrade my phone\s firmware to Ice cream sandwitch, but somehow I managed to destroy the software of the phone. Now it only turns on and shows lg logo. that\s it. no more.
I tried to follow the things this fellow has written but somewhere something is missing and I can\t follow.

I'm now stuck on CWM, i dont know what to do..
i've been working 14hrs for this.
The ICS engeneeer version and LG logo shows up and then after it will direct me to CWM Recovery

Kindly
install original kdz.....it will make your phone workable...but custom roms will have same problem so now don't install cwm after installing original kdz
1-Download+ install LG driver www.lg-phones.org/lg-optimus-lte-usb-driver.html
2- Download LG official ROM (kdz)

3-Download and install LG update csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/client/app/B2CAppSetup.exe
4- Download Flash Tool and extract dl.dropbox.com/u/43909377/FlashTool.1.0.54.zip
5- Run Windows Enabler (from extracted files) and switch it on by clicking on it's icon in system stray in task bar
6- switch off your phone....now hold volume up + power key ....it it gets into download mode
7- Run the Uptextex.exe (from extracted files)
select the LG Official ROM (kdz) you want to install (WARNING : wrong KDZ File will brick the phone)
Select "emergency" and "3gQCT" as the figure and then click on the "NORMAL WEB UPGRADE
Select " Normal Web update test"
WAIT AND ENJOY
Caution: I am not responsible if anything happens to your PHONE........ Do this at your own risk!

Hey thank you i just followed the instructions and it worked well im now running with sphinx v4 but now having trouble using wifi tetherinh i tried to open it, it will start for like 2 seconds and then will turn off again i tried to use 3rd party app but its saying this

Hey guys. when I click on Normal Web Upgrade Test. It opens up the LG Mobile Support Tool and NOT asking me the country or model or anything.
Hence I'm stuck completely. The support tool asks me to update the drivers. I can't proceed no matter what. What am i doing wrong here??

I want to revert back to stock ROM (not sure if the stock rom is still inside the phone or not), but it seems like the phone cannot enter into Recovery Mode by holding down Power and Vol down key. The LG Logo seems to go in a loop with the logo and blank screen and than LG logo going on and on. Also please give me a link to get the stock F350s TOT file and DLL as all the links available seems to be broken and/or websites hosting them not working. Thanks in advance.

I am also stuck with the recovery issue. Same problem. But you can flash stock ROM. Download it from the below mentioned link

I am on to it, downloading the tot file right now. I hope it will solve my problem and also pray that you get to have your problem solved. Also please do tell me how to install Felix Version 3 after I get to have the stock rom in and running on my F350S. Thanks again.

Actually that is not a problem. THere is no custom recovery for this F350L. After flashing this tot file just root the phone using towelroot https://towelroot.com/. After that you can easily install felix rom . Instruction is there on the page.

Flash again using LG Flash Tool, use D838 international version of Lollipop stock rom
Go to 'Download Mode'
Set the flash tool to CDMA+Emergency
Make sure you do everything OFFLINE

My phone got stuck at 90% while flashing D838 ROM. Now it does not open anymore - only the LG logo shows off and on and can no longer be detected by my PC. My phone now is on a 'bootloop" mode. And I can no longer go to Download mode so I can flash anew.
Any help from our Masters out there?

Take a look at my thread for LG V20, read fastboot tutorial in particular. Most knowledge on my thread applies to LG-D838 which I own too. Just change things accordingly. For instance, instead of LG UP tool use LG Flash tool.
Once you read the articles, you would be your own master. Good Luck.
