How to flash CWM Recovery Touch on Android

Hey guyz,
I'm back with a new tutorial for all you android users out there.
I have found that many people use CWM (ClockWorkMod) Recovery and want to upgrade it to Touch. Though their is a simpler way if you are not willing to buy the Touch Recovery from ROM Manager App by the same company as you would have to upgrade to Premium for it.
First and foremost, this is perfectly LEGAL and you must have a Rooted phone. Also this is one of the few recovery flashing apps that is Free and supports a lot of Android devices.

[Instructions]
1). Download and install the Android App from Playstore - Its free: [Root] Recovery Tools - Flasher
2). Download the Recovery (CWM provides it freely for the supported devices here)
3). After the has installed. Just move the recovery to you "Internal Storage".
4). Flash the IMG using the "Flash other Recovery" option and search for the IMG file. (Example recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.3.6-i9300.img)
5). Follow the onscreen instructions and you are done.

Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if you brick your phone. This is just a way I found to FLASH IMG files directly without the hectic procedure of having them TARRED and using ODIN and a PC. Also, check for your device, if it is supported then use this method.

Does it also work for lg optimus g pro e986?

Nexus 5 is not compatible...? How come all the other Nexus devices can?
If your device isn't listed then you can possibly soft brick your phone and nexus 5 is not compatible because the author hasn't updated the list

I saw under the supported devices that it will do samsung s3 mini. Is that all of the s3 mini? I have the s3 mini g730a.
Yes all Samsung mini S3's can be flashed.

Do i need to uninstall my normal recovery to install a touch cwm?
After months of successfully flashing a cwm recovery on my Mt6575 device (actually I've enjoyed it a lot afterwards), I now want to install a touch recovery. Actually I've gone through the web searching for my devices compatibility but it seems my device isn't compatible with touch recovery(officially I guess!). I stumbled on a tutorial on how to install a "Carliv. Touch recovery" on any mediatek device.
The point now is this... Do I need to uninstall the normal cwm recovery I have before installing the carliv touch recovery or can I just install the carliv touch recovery on it? The thing is that my hardware buttons are faulty(Power button) that's why I want a touch recovery.
Pls, can I install a carliv touch recovery(also cwm anyways) on my normal cwm recovery(which I did manually).
Let me ask you this. When you installed a custom recovery you had overwritten it over your stock recovery. Same idea. Hence you can install it but the problem is whether your device supports it. I'm really sorry for getting back to you so late.
I would say go ahead if and only if you know for sure it will work or if you are willing to reset your phone if things go wrong, if not then don't do it. Simple logic.

anyone knows how to unbrick lenovo k860. When I flash CM 10. it turn off and never turn on.. battery is pull. still not working.. it won't even load to recovery. nothing. it only shows a black screen with no back light. it only vibrates when you try to open it.. please help...

I think it has to do with the devs
Hi everyone,
Is there any way to make a T428 rom with an editied Build.prop for a NON-ROOTED device?
I require it for Skygo, I have a Custom Rom Finless 1.5a, but skygo will not work as it is rooted.
I thought if I could build a rom or edit the stock rom and inject the following items then I might get it going...
Problem is I do not know where to even start... I tried youtube and that stuff is WAY over my head
Required
Build.Prop that suggests it is a Samsung Device with a UK local
Skygo app
Maybe
Hide HDMI
Hacked Playstore 4.1.1
any ideas ?
