Hey man, this app worked really well and rooted my phone. However, Sony just released a new update for the phone.I updated it and it un-rooted it and now the root app doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to root again?

This looks useful. So will this protect root permissions through an official update? Do we just toggle off, run the update then toggle on?
The End.
Okay cool. I protected root. We will see when the update comes if it works. Thanks!
The End.

[Q] how to root my GT S5570 SAFELY with Android 2.3.5??

Hey guys! I'm new to XDA and I have a question: How can I root my Galaxy Mini SAFELY? I already broke 4 phones and my parents are getting really mad if I break another one. So yeah... Does anyone know how to do this? I already tried SuperOneClick but didn't worked though. I don't want to use Gingerbreak because my previous phone bricked by that crap.

EDIT: So I just found this site and I was wondering if it would work with my phone too.

Sprint app removal

Okay, so I installed the Sprint Zone app because I actually use it and find it functional. However, with the latest update it also installed sprint fun & games. Something I don't want. I searched for the file using root explored and also checked the system app file and data app file. I can't find it anywhere to rename it bak. Anyone have any luck finding it?

Both are the same app you need to uninstall the update

I went a head and uninstalled the update. After I did that the app forced closed and wouldnt function properly. The only way to get it to work as before was to update it. I went through the app file and found the fun and games and seen the launch was set to 1. I wonder if changing that to 0 would mess with the Sprint Zone app? Now I just need to find an editor.
