Hello guys ... Since I bought this terminal I'm wandering looking for a "perfect" configuration between speed and stability for this device: I think I found it and I want to share it with you in this new ROM still a bit unripe, but already ultra powerful
I called it Aces Droid Plus because I'm working so that it becomes one of the best ROM for this phone ... Yes, I know ... It may be a difficult task, but I assure you that I will and perseverance to sell
Well, let's move to the presentation:

I don't feel responsible for any damage or brick due to flash this ROM, do so at your own risk!
Flash mode: copy the zip in your SD card, then do all the wipe (data/factory reset, wipe Dalvik cache, format /emmc and, if you want, format /system) then select "Flash zip from sdcard" with CWM. Don't do the wipes for FIXes or you'll delete the whole system!

I recommend: Governor SmartassH3, minfreq = 245/320MHz & maxfeq = 1008MHz and CFQ scheduler.
Anyway, these are my preferences ... You can choose the configuration that best suits you

Androidiani.com forum in the first place that allowed me to have a launching pad for this ROM born a little 'by chance from my desire to modding, but of "my" modding not of pre-built ROMs

BlackBurner and mb-14 for having made available the source of their kernel
lokeshsaini94 for Atomods I used initially and that made me discover many wonderful MODs and his guides who have allowed me to implement these MODs making me free from his prebuilt packages, allowing me to include only those that I like and I didn't find unnecessary
petrukgrinder for guides that allowed me to implement the date & time JB style and carrier at the bottom of the status bar
lidroid for the 14 toggles
as the last on the list, but not least all users of this forum, FB, G+ and AcesDroidPlus forum that downloading the ROM and using it have given a meaning to my infinite flutter (it is my first android phone: I had to learn everything from scratch virtually alone. Your support has been and always will be a great incentive to push me to improve my person and my "product" increasingly)

Now i'm busy with exams at the university, so i can't work on it right now... From September 20th I'm free until new lessons start so I'm working on the kernel to add OTG support (I hope to do it )
PS: Can you tell me something about VLC, specifically if it works now, after you tried the ROM? tnx

I cant use youtube app
it says an error occured..

This is the most stable ROM I have tested so far on my Spica, fast as ... and overall a really great ROM with everything I can wish for, doesnt even miss Froyo
WiFi, for me ,also seems a lot more stable and reliable.

Take a look here on how-to.
HOW TO
You need custom recovery that will allow you to flash the ZIP from SD-Card.
If you are not familiar it can be tricky getting it started, but definately not impossible.
i just put this
* Firmware I570EXXJCE (I570EXXJCE.zip ) with Odin Multi Downloader + spica_jc3.ops
in this case what i will use tu put OMG v1.22.12.10

this rom is based on -> xxjh1
i would not say i didnot use samdroid work
used his work like kernel.
i have tried to optimize them so that it can be usable on spica
i will start my own aosp rom (froyo maybe) just needed to check how do people react to my optimiations on optimized roms, many more things are been worked out if they work giving any better performance i will release an no wipe update
any other optimizations applied my result in multiple FC. sp. graphics optimiations. it might break some other things.
if testing u find better results please let people know abt it so that they can also enjoy what u have tested.

for file system i still recommend rfs for system (thats what i m using) u can test ext

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ics to make it all a usefull addition and not just a cute novelty. We're calling it: Hybrid mode, best of both worlds.

we all want to test this awesome rom! but most of us got bootloops after flashing.
and the "hybrid gapps" are still offline.
for me it doesn´t work when i use the fixed gapps from the froyo version.

I wanted to try this rom in 2nd boot...I'll wait that someone test it! I hate bootloops!!! Yesterday I got bootllops flashing whiterabbit cyanogen and I spent a lot of time trying to restore the phone, than I flash CM9 kernel and know is the best rom GB based for me!!

Installation
Install CWM5 or CWM6 and make a backup
Do a complete wipe (System/Cache/Data/Sdcard/Emmc)
Copy the Simplistic ICS Beta file on your phone and install the zip (do not reboot)
Copy the Gapps file on your phone and flash the zip directly after the ROM installation
Reboot the phone and enjoy your latest and greatest Simplistic ICS Beta 1 installation

Is there any info about battery life ? Is it better than original cm9 ?
What is your thought at "better"? It has excellent 'deep sleep' and for me the battery lasts long enough for CM9 standards. I did tweak some functions that 'should' give the battery some more juice though. I am testing the final BETA 1 build now and it will release 'soon' so stay tuned!

What is Perf0rmanceROM?
This ROM born on my phone. The idea was to get the performance from GB,
smoothness and partial UI from ICS and without messing up practicality
(DPI <240, hardly readable fonts, etc...) and subtle styling (no harsh colors or huge icons/fonts).
As you can guess the base is CM7 (CM7.1, clean) All credits to CyanogenMOD Team.
It was inspired by the fact that iPhone 4 has very similiar HW to DHD, yet you don't need
to mess with it's OS (task managers, clearing caches, etc) to prevent basic apps/ games from lagging.
After booting you have 400+ MB RAM free out of total 620MB usable. Impressed? It's Android, not a
Windows, damn...
By default CPU settings are 245-1401Mhz ONDEMAND

How to install it?As this ROM born/came through DHD's ......, it's a CWM/Nandroid backup and not an casual flashable .ZIP made by PCs.
To flash it, you need ClockworkMOD Recovery. I believe 4EXT Recovery should do as well. Don't ask me for flashable ZIP as this is released only because how
good this ROM actually turned out, lol. I wasn't intending doing that. Once you get it over you shall do as follows:
- Extract rar'ed folder to SDcard/clockworkmod/backup dddddiidddd
- Run CWM, perform full wipe ddddddddddddddddddddddddidddiid
- Go to backup and restore, choose restore, select Perf0rmanceROM d
I can't tell you exact menus for 4EXT, but the whole process is fairy similiar and path for placing backups should be the same.
After extracting it should look like SD:\clockworkmod\backup\Perf0rmanceROM_....\
PS. Gapps integrated.

BTW, don't mess with SndUI, unless you know what you are doing - use only EQ presets and SRS_V enhancements
as not all of in-app listed items are fully working, some can give you a really harsh and loud pink noise regardless of the volume set,
while others can completely disable audio (especially if "restarted" or "talking" preset is changed)

You just can't possibly make ICS to be comaparable to GB in terms in performance, and it's not like iOS, where apps require newest OS.

google Play FC
was getting bored so installed this last night, Google play FC. tried clearing data and cache but dint help. after re-installing the ROM(dirty) Google play opens but not able to download any app. gives error - "error retrieving information from server RPC S 5 AEC-0)
tried removing the Google account but doesn't help.
ROM is very fast and camera,wifi/data,gps works fine.

It seems that google account settings got messed up after restoring default values. Will fix that.
EDIT: Ok it turns out that downloading error disappears after clearing data of "google framework services" in app manager (stop all services or restart to see effect).

No, In this ROM battery percent drop is like 80, 70 60 ....
I use battery widget for proper percentage value
Everything is good except the sound recording in video mode. What might be the problem? Camera working well but sound is not recorded when video recording. Tried several camera apk's but the problem still persists. Thanks in advance for this great rom and also for the solutions for ma problem.
Hopeful fixes incoming.

Hi there, sorry I didn't respond to you in so long but I couldn't help on these projects at the time. Your issue with the camera is something I can solve and intend to re-port and upload it today since others have issues with it as well. I will update this post with the link when it's uploaded, but just to let you and others know that I may not be able to solve all the issues that exist since porting doesn't cure rom-related bugs.
I'll do what I can at least , since this rom is no longer supported in the source device forum so please understand and thank you for your patience.
Edit: Ok, it's finally done and here's the link to it separately from the OP: Re-ported HyperDroid AOXP Nonkexec. If any issue persists or develops, then let me know but keep in mind what I said earlier, thank you and enjoy!

A big thank you to you for trying to help. Sorry for bothering when u are busy. Just need some inf, so what's the change happeend in the new reporting? Is it a change in camera apk and stuff or anything else? Will I be able to fix the issue by just extracting usefu from the re-port to my existing installation?

No trouble really and I just addressed the camera recording issue the most. I think simply wiping cache/dalvik and flashing the fixed rom zip should be enough to get things straitened out. If you still experience your aforementioned bugs or worse, then a clean installation will be needed.
