Hi I am currently experimenting Paranoid Android (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314559) 3.99b and 3.69 on my Galaxy S4 SGH-1337M. When I try to use an app called Songza (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ad60.songza) it says: "Unfortunately, Songza has stopped." on both versions. Does anyone know the reason as to why this app is being so stubborn with this ROM even tho 3.69 was labelled stable by the developer? I have done a clean install for both versions to no avail.
I suggest you contact the devs of that app first about this issue. :good:

Dear Forum Members - This is my first post in XDA and so my apologies if I missed any protocols. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 International Version. Just like many of you, I got fed up with Touchwiz and flashed CM 10.2 using Cyanogenmod Instaaller. While the performance exceeded my expectations by a huge margin, I am facing one small problem with installation of Google Earth. Since Google Earth is not available in my country through Play Store yet, I usually download the apk and install it. I did the same after moving to CM 10.2 amd installed the old app from my backup, but realised there is an updated version of Google Earth V 7.1.3 available and downloaded the same from a popular tech site. The problem is after I uninstalled the old app, I am unable to install either the new version or the old version. I keep getting the Out of Space: Titanium Backup could not be installed error even though there is lot of space still available. When I faced similar trouble with Titanium Backup Pro earlier, I found online that by deleting /system/app for file Titanium....odex. file and it worked flawlessly. However, I cant find any such file for Google Earth. Can someone please help solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Is anyone successfully running Omni-Notes ( https://federicoiosue.github.io/Omni-Notes/ ) ?
I'm trying to run it on my N8010 (stock rom) but it just keeps crashing. Since there's no response from the developer I wonder if its just me, or Omni-Notes.
It runs fine on my Moto-G (Android 4.4.2) so it looks like a N80xx or Android 4.2.2 problem.
According to the developer:
Actually it seems to be a Samsung customized firmwares bug.
It happens because Omni Notes uses the new Android 4.2 APIs to implement easily RTL support.
Other firmware when encountering unknow tags used for this purpose simply jumps them. Samsung does not.

Is there a solution or workaround for this?
Hi guys, this is my first post.
I had a Xoom MZ601 EVEREST with stock 4.0.4 and wanted to update it in order to be able to use Nokia Here Maps (android 4.1+ required). I have tried the EOS stable 3.0, Cyanogenmod 10 stable and 10.1 nightly, using always the proper Gapps pack and following the instructions.
I got everything working well but I cannot even open the here maps app, as soon as I open it it closes immediately, this happens with 4.1.1 and 4.1.2. Best I could achieve is a black screen on CM 10.1 4.2.2.
Any thoughts on where could be the problem?
FYI I tried the last version and two old betas, same results.
Thanks!
I am attaching the debug logs:
here.app.maps-debug.txt (events when trying to open here maps)
before_opening-debug.txt (event before opening here maps, the app it is mentioned in some lines).
I've seen all the threads in XDA developers forum, visited at least 10 different sites, watched 50 videos(at least), tried all the apps and flashed all the ROMs(which would support my device) and yet my camera app doesn't open properly.
The Stock camera app says "Can't Connect to the Camera", Cyanogen Camera 2.0.0.4 fails to start, other third-party camera apps fail too.
I've tried flashing camera patch ROMs and my phone says an error and aborts the installation.
I've tried almost everything. I think the ROMs I'm trying to flash don't actually support my Galaxy Y, even when they say.
So, does anyone know anything else to do? I really need the camera, pretty badly if you ask :/
Note that:
I used,
1) CWM Recovery 6.xxxx something
2) Bangprovn Kernel
3) cm-11-20140719-NIGHTLY-totoro.zip
4) Gapps 4.4 Ultra Stripped Masuele 02-02-14 .zip
another note: I think my GAPPS had some issues because it didn't have the Stock camera app in the appdrawer(but it was accessible via Gallery), the gallery app didn't work and I had to install Cyanogen Gallery and things like that.
I'm somewhat a newbie in Modding, so I use youtube, and the modding was successful, whereas the camera fix wasn't.
Thanks in advance

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
This post may help (if it's more than advice for CM7)...
you need to use percys kernel and percys latest rc build
whitexp builds will have bugs that have been fixed in percys builds

The lack of camera in the app drawer means that the ROM was compiled without the proper support. Been there, done that. No wonder why gallery didn't act properly either.
I cannot find the CM11 you reference, but if you go back to stock and still cannot access camera, then you have a hardware issue.

Hello Everyone,
I want to inform you all that i googled about the problem since 20 days and i did not got the solution. Ultimately i made my mind to ask to the masters of android in XDA forums. My problem is as follows:-
My Device : Xolo Q700s
OS : Stock ROM Jelly Bean 4.2.2
Status : Rooted using SuperSu
Recovery : TWRP 2.5
Problem : -
->I already converted many apps from user app to system app successfully. However I am unable to convert VLC player and Whatsapp to system apps successfully.
->When I try to convert them, they are converted to system app but when i launch them, they crash and close.
->I also confirmed while checking these apps in /system/app. And Yes these apps were placed there.
->Hence I am very helpless. Also I read some where that this problem is related to system libraries.
->I tried all the methods and apps from playstore but all i got was failure.
I hope you might have got my problem. And I seroiusly need help from you all. Please help me since I am also a great follower of android.
