hey guys today im jus gonna show u how i fixed lags and improved gaming performance on my htc explorer.It should work for mostly all roms but not sure as im using sense 4 bulid8,u may try and tell me on which rom u have tried
1st of all i would like to thank hpsgill and lenarox for their tutorials
So lets get started
FILES to be downloaded
SCRIPT MANAGER
BUSYBOX
RTMIXMAN
SEEDER
ENTROPY
LAG TUNER
LAZER DROID
I)SO lets get started assuming u have all the files
1st install the apps
script manager
busybox
seeder
entropy
seeder-open the app. click on. tick all,set to agressive
entropy-slide to the end and set on boot
busybox-follow the instructions in it.skip if u already have it
script manager-open the app and a pop-up will come click browse as root and allow superuser permissions
II)
RTMIXMAN-.Run this script via script manager with root permissions
2.follow script instructions
3.While installing script,it will ask u to select way u wanna install(easy and hard)
4.Select hard
5.Then select xbin as installation path
6.Then it will ask u to install apboost
7.Select no
8.Follow script instruction,install every thing except apboost
then reboot ur phone
LAG TUNER-Run this script via script manager VMLagTuner_1_9.MP4.pdf As Script/Executable.
A window like below will popup, Tap on Su (Super User) and Boot (Only for this script) and click on run.It doesn't execute any script, just hit back button

LAZER DROID-open LaserDroid_2_5.pdf as script/Executable and Tap on "Su". Run this script by tapping "Run" button.
You Will get Some Access Denied in Script ,Dont Panic. It is due to new updated Smanager app

HERE IS ONE BENCHMARK SCORE DONE ON CM10.1 with 878oc and these tweaks
1st time i did got 5100
2nd time did got 5033
like dis scores kept on changing up and down and to be honest scores went down to 4700
^^^^right click on the icon and open image in new tab
did antutu benchmark tests got 3255 with seeder and entropy but when did all the tweaks got score of 4000 so i guess there is a difference

The thing matters is how u feel
How much smoothness n performance increased
I am using cb and xc and xb
My antutu score is 3123 on cm9 build 9
But i feel better ram,smoothness and performance

I totally agree with you..My only objective is to help pico users help fix their lags.experimenting on my device i was using cm10.1 with 900mhz the performance was just awesome.but then i switched to sense4 to see if i can do something to fix lags (although im just a NooB)just trying to help.I myself felt the performance improvements gaming wise or smoothness though not fixed completely fixed on sense but fixed in cm based roms

it has a lot of tweaks which can be applied........maybe you can see which of them work on our phone and add them here.....
i use it and have enabled a few tweaks here and there ( the ones which sounded good ).......

Pimp my ROM isn't that specific yet. It's more suitable for Noobs. This is what I'm personally using across all my devices. Including my i9003.. The ultimate..

No. No bootloops. Just make sure you're on Jellybean. The zip will auto wipe all previous scripts in your int.d folder then automatically install the 17 scripts. No worries. Un pimp 1st. After installation, run terminal emulator, type su, then type boost just to double confirm adrenaline script is running. Enjoy..

flashed..all went well.....tried that boost thing and free memory went from 5 -> 70..will see how things work out with this

ok followed instructions but i type su in terminal emulator works fine but when i type boost in replies with no such command found any help would be appreciated thanks rob also was wondering how to uninstall

@saadahmeddar when did u last login to xda? CM 10 is as stable n smooth as cm9 probably better.. Jus fukin search the forum before u post there are many stable releases of cm10 if u think little bugs as dev then cm9 or even cm7 is still under dev...
What games did u play to check these scripts? what method did u use init.d or xbin?

and as i said try a heavy game
like real racing 3,2 or any heavy game which lags
Actually I get error "unexpected operator/operand" when i run from TE. Any ideas?
BTW it should work with TR2 as it demands high graphics.

i tried in cm9 too but im getting "not found" in the 1st 2 sripts 3rd one installed fine but i don't see improvements :| Don't know what i'm doin wrong.

Install Instructions
Download the All three files and place them into the SD Card
Go to mountsandstorage & format System
Wipe data/factory reset
Under andvanced,Wipe dalviks cache.
Install zip from SD CARD then Flash TurboRom-qmobilea2 first
After First Flash get completes , flash Turbo Engine.zip
Now Reboot
After the phone bootup now Install the busybox latest version i.e., 1.21
After Installing Busybox, reboot into recovery directly
Now Flash patch.zip nd after flashing just reboot
It will take 3-5 minutes to bootup so wait for it!
Now feel the turbo power!

Utilize Turbo Engine!
First download & Install this app on your phone |Android Terminal Emulator
Now launch the app
Now type su & press enter ,it will prompt superSU permissions ,grant it
Now Type Turbo to check whether Turbo engine is working or not!
If its working properly then it will show every thing installed!
Turbo Boost!!
Open Android terminal emulator nd type su nd tap enter
Now type boost to boost the android system in real time !!! Turbo nos
Now close the app
Do this boost only when u having low ram nd want to play games !
To increase ram performance (It is part of Half swap technique, half swap is already active by default in rom)
Download Swapper for Root
open the app & select Active Swapon Boot
enter the size in the box as 600 mb...make sure u have 1 gb of freespace on your memory card all the time. (if u have 8 gb cards u can use 900 mb too but make sure u have aroung 1 gb of extra free space on card)
click save..
Now itl take some time and you must have patience and wait...do not click anything because it is creating a swap file on your memory card.
once done deselect "active swap on boot". &
click save and close the app..
again open the app,now select "active swap on boot"
And now u r done
Now Play HD games with chainfire3d

Everything was running fine until I started a music player. The player stopped working. Reverted back to an old backup. Everything was normal again. Running cm9 (ics) on Optimus one

All the scripts packages are copies only. They modify vm settings, build.prop, minfree nd oom values, touch sensitivity nd defrag the db. And maybe add randomness. There is rarely any uniqueness in any package.

I have tst in:
i9000 with joyo os and it was slower and no wifi connection after installation of script.
Xperia U goes well but is soon to say if it works
works great
Just instaled your tweeks it is very good, little faster transtions, and faster app opening, on games nothing mutch is changed, picture load is faster, i am runing fera rom v33 on cernel 18. and everthing is super fast so maybe becouse of that i did not noticed some great impruvment. thanks mate

The rom is Super smooth.....
But when governor set to performance only core 1 runs and other cores stop and got only around 10000 score in antutu with performance governor.......
Not sure of it but can somebody confirm it??

Which app u used to change the governor?

Now tried setcpu but still getting 1000 less score on performance governor than hotplug

I'll advice you to dont use this apps. And antutu score varies on each and every run, then how can we trust that app. If any lag is in the rom tell me I'll try to improve the performance in next update.
No lag in the Ui
But got negligible lag on small games also....
Though removed that by using some tweaks....

Getting fc for root explorer (Not an issue as I use ES)
No option to install apps on internal sd card... Option is only for pics and videos ( good thinking actually to have separate option for cam but I would suggest to have it for apps also)

If facing fc with the app try clearing its data from settings>app. And if u dont use that then uninstall it. Regarding app to internal sd card I cant say about as I'm on another rom. But if u want to move app use link 2sd app from play store
