First of all.This fix is old unless you are on the old rom..second,you need clockworkmod for flashing that fix which needs root permissions

The fix is old and the main thing is it is not for your tab. i checked google and it is an issue with some customers and i couldnt find a fix. Please search in Google and xda here if you can find some fix. And before all this.check your wifi router once

I think it might be related to your SIM card as WiFi probably works without SIM, the new update coming for the ROM will more than likely fix this issue. There is a country WiFi fix here on xda for this type of issue but not sure if it works successfully with ViperS v5.0, could be worth a try though for the meantime.

Yes you have to replace the framework2 and to add a line to build.prop ro.product.locale.region=US and that reboot your phone
I replaced the framework2 and wifi seems work fine

Thank you very much, I replaced the framework2 and wifi seems work fine , but I couldn't add a line to build.pop using "ES Note Editor" and when I add this line ro.product.locale.region=US it says "Error occurred when trying to save the file. it will not be saved" :/

Try doing a FXZ to stock again see if it helps coz last time sm1 showed up with the same problem he was stuck....

Use root browser and go to system/bin and replace rild with this file and set the correct permissions. Maybe this will help you.

not working.
i am not able to find EFS folder in atrix2.
i am have one good atrix2, can i use it to solve this issue.
this has 4.1 while bad atrix2 has 2.3.6

a really strange situation is here, after this iCS update some times phone show baseband and imei bot but after reboot it dose not show it and wake up every 5 sec after screen sleep

Netflix doesn't load for me.. I've tried changing my build.prop to g920t but still not working. Fifa 15 is not connecting to their server either

Go in system/lib and delete "liboemcrypto.so", reboot your phone and it will work

Thanks! It worked! And to think i had just accepted not being able to watch netflix on my S6, alls I needed to do was just delete one file... How was that stopping it from working in the first place?

This one doesn't work for me. It just results in sign on failure with Netflix. At least before I could sign on. Could you explain this fix/workaround at all?

My cell reception comes and goes.
I'd get regular service, then a cut off for a while. Then back on.
Not location related - this will happen anywhere.
Something about the hardware? Cell settings seems good.
Any advice will be appreciated.
