Hey, great work... have a few doubts through...
1) is this tested on xolo q800 ... will it work for sure
2)do games like most wanted .. real racing 3 work without any sound/audio ... lag/stuttering problems
3)is this better than your other ultimate ROM?

Also... does this ROM support usb OTG... Nd HDMI ouput over micro usb... i read somewhere that

i havent tested otg and hdmi

Thank you for your quick response. Will be downloading tonight... suggestions for your next rom or update . Fully stock 4.2 themed (like NEXUS 4) .. swap external and internal sd so can install many hd gameloft games, transparent status bar, otg, hdmi and screenshot option in powermenu (if its not available already)..
One last thing... uve written above that twrp is recommended... i only have cwm... its still okay right?.. i don wanna brick my phone.

Hi,
It is flashable zip so don't worry about it. You will not your phone to brick. He has test it on TWRP so recommended it.
Flashable Zip works on both TWRP and CWM. If something goes wrong need not to worry and you can restore your previous rom from your backup. :laugh:

hey, been using ur ROM, its really nice, antutu score of above 13,000, ..
1) would like a better camera app though.. photosphere en all, also gallery is a bit laggy,
2)3d performance really great, but subway surfers and.. and temple run oz not as smooth as in stock ROM, may be hardware rendering isnt enabled.
3)ONE MORE BIG PROBLEM... no speed dialing based on name.. the dialer app is bad. . like on stock rom, u can easily call someone from ur contacts without searching by just typing few characters of the corresponding alpha numeric keys.. (like T9) like for calling "DAD" i can just dial 323 and it will list DAD... here the dialer search works based on the stored number and not the name. that is bad..who would remember the number dude?
4)unable to expand status bar in lockscreen.. please include this
. ...if possible please ADD ALL STANDARD ANDROID 4.2 LIKE IN NEXUS, thanks...

Yeah...I too would like a t9 dialer. I think we can just replace the cyanogenmod apk...would that work? Anyways...about gaming..how did the performance reduce..any gpu tweaks used op?

for those who want t9 in dialer use ICS dialer+ from xda and for engineering options use 3rd party like mobile uncle tools and seriously about the G symbol it denotes your sim capability just like u wished its asop and hence android don't use t9 in dialer and it indicates G or 3G based on sim in default vanilla os ...and if possible I will make bug fix for ur queries just like ultimate v1 just give me some time as I am studying my post graduation and I need to go home to use my PC...!!
and i dont have any problems in gaming... i play subway surfer and oz daily no issues

Installed 3 hours back till now no major bugs found.
although small Issues I'm facing are:
1) RAM management seemed better in stock ROM, I'm running at least 100mb lower on ram when compared to stock ROM having same or more no. of running apps.
2) when the phone is on vibrate (meeting) mode, I can't feel the feedback from the soft keys (capacitive buttons). This was also with stock ROM. And there is no option to edit the settings like in general profile.
3) how to go to next like in SMS (messaging) app? :s
I searched for the options but couldn't guy find any. There used to be an option in cm ROMs to disable the Smiley's and enable break line.
4) Compass app fc's on tapping setting option.
5) Yeah t9 dialer, would love to have it integrated. I tried reactiv dialer but it force closes in free seconds.
You might even remove the call log app if possible.
6) the aosp keyboard doesn't have gesture, had to download Google keyboard separately.
7) on automatic brightness the screen flickers a lot, i mean it is too sensitive to the light, there should more delay in sensing the light (it might even save more battery).
8) there is no Walkman widget to control music!
Rest all seems fine.. Keep up the good work! :thumbup:

Hey no issues with subway surfers, haven't tried temple run though.
Is photo sphere included? I could only see panorama, HDR, multi angle and face mode, scene.
Or is it the mod you talking about?

I would like to know this as well, since I am also getting a xolo q800 in a couple of weeks and I am 90% sure that it will be the downgraded mt6589W-M chipset, Will this rom be compatible with that as well?
If you are unable to respond to that, could you then please tell us if you have the MT6589 chipset or the MT6589M-W chipset on your phone!

No, it's impossible to work currently, but there might be hope.

Hi , I have tried almost everything but i cant turn off the feature where screen gets on when a new sms arrives.
i have disabled notifications and popups in Messaging app , didnt work.
i have disabled Notification on lock screen from setting/display
i have uninstalled stock messaging app
i have used go sms option to disable other apps notification and screen off option.
but none of these work.
Can someone please tell me anyway to keep the screen off on new msg arrival.

Probably use a power saver mode.. Like reduce brightness, reduce usage of wifi etc.. There is no such trick to increase battery life.. As far as I am aware this device does not have any UI bug that uses more power, so no such fix too.. Probably you need some custom rom but still there wont be much difference in the Life of batter or even better use of it..
I am so sorry as I do not have the battery trick !! Any thing I find of this in future I ll post em..

Source code of mediatek is not really open yet.. but around a month ago mediatek quoted that they might release source codes.. They call some mediatek labs which would post source codes probably.. then the question do they give out source code of all this device we ll have to find out..
As of now all we could hope is to wait and see how soon they might release the source..

The phone has recently got an update.
And now has messed up everything.
The main camera is clicking dark photographs even in the broad daylight.
The float window had an app killer button which is also gone.
Is there way to rollback the update?

I agree the new rom update has problems so i had started modifying the internals but problem is how on earth do i backup the new rom without the help of any recovery for this device ;(

did u tried USB debugging On and the phone should be rooted to be used by mtk droid tools

I know these things bro..turned usb debugging on..rooted the phone..i just wanted to compile cwm..and dump the stock rom..but its nt getting detected..you can give a try if u want to check..

So the phone received Kitkat update and now they have integrated whatsapp and some other apps. Performance is a bit better but does anyone knows how to remove inbuilt app?

bro go to cam setting and change preview size to 4:3 and then cam show 8mp

symlink error in install
i keep getting symlink error everytime i try to install the rom.
The CWM says symlinks error, some symlinks failed.
any solution ?

change recovery version, its a recovery problem.

I'm using the latest recovery 6.0.5.1. which recovery do you suggest I use?

I am using 6.048 from original development section, if not work for you try 1st 6.048 then 6.0.50. Any one will work for sure ,for me 6.048 installs every rom.

proximity sensor stays on after call
Great Rom but has some issue(bug) with the proximity sensor... Proximity sensor stays on from the first call after boot. Plz add another dialer app this is very laggy ... please fix this plz love this Rom.... Thnkxx

For me also sensors are not working with aosp 4.4.2...
That's why I installed cm11..
Please fix this issue and upgrade to 4.4.4..

Hi... the camera flash is very low. I tried camera stock camera and the Google camera app but the flash is very low can't able to take pictures on low light... Plz help... thanks

Fixing data connection problem
u need to edit apns_conf.xml for apn...
open the file and then add your apn setting same as default apn written in it...
now save and reboot...
open apn setting in system setting and click reset default

But the notification panel doesn't seem right. There's a page indicator type on thing in the notification area to toggle between quick settings and notifications. Here, I see a vertical line instead

you can install this rom only after you port the rom...
if you try this you will get bootloop or you may brick your device...

Maybe not....bcoz no body has tried to port from generic mt6582 to google android one devices.........
but you can try after getting different info for this type of porting.....

sir i told that this is full of buggs....so u will face bugs anytime after porting this rom...
