Hello, I am currently away in getting access to a pc and want to format my new memory card with exfat filesystem. Is there any app that has this feature to format a card with exfat filesystem? Please help. Thanks!

What directories on the filesystem denote the onboard flash memory versus an external (8gb) sd card i've plugged into the back? Isn't the internal flash labeled as a sd card as well as my removavle sd card? I googled it a bit but had no luck.

The external SD card shows up as a sub-directory named "sd" under the internal SD card if you use the My Files app.
/sdcard is internal
/sdcard/sd is external (your card)

Could you elaborate on your question? I dont really understand what your trying to ask.
Not sure what you want to do but if you have a microSD card reader you can format the card with fat32.
Also another way is to boot into recovery (most recoverys have this) and you can format the sd card with fat32/ext/swap partitions.
Is there any script for increasing internal memory supporting FAT32 partition? cause when I rooted the phone I partitioned the 8 gb sd card with 2gb FAT32. If not, can I convert FAT32 into ext partition? How?
Use link2sd for fat or fat32. And you can convert this partition to ext by using easyus partition manager.
Hit thanks if I helped you.

Found the solution. Partitioned using the cwm recovery. Now I have 5.6 gb fat and 2057 mb as ext.
If I format the SD to the ext4. can I then have the power to modify the permission. Thanks.
