1. How to root the Sony Xperia Tipo , Tipo Dual , Miro , J ?

Turn on USB Debugging
Run the software
Connect the phone with the computer
Click Root
2. How to get the CMW Recovery ?

Run the CMD
Instruction :
1. Extract The Folder to your computer
2. Put the folder into SD Card
3. Turn Off the phone
4. Press Volume Down Repeatly when you see the Sony Logo
5. Flash All the Zip
6. Restart the phone
7. See is there 3 App
8. If Yes Skip Step 8 .
9. If the Walkman App is missing flash the Walkman ( Walkman Only ) Zip again

When you make changes in System/App you need to restart the phone cuz the Walkman App will disappear . It take 1 time or 2 time to let the App to get back to App menu .

I have no idea cuz I download many ppl de and try this is the best Version so I put a detail tutorial how to install this version of Walkman if you know who is the owner please tell me so that I can give credits .

I follow the instructions and installed the zips but the only apps that appears are the Movies and Album, but the Walkman app doesn't appear I reboot the Tipo and flash just the walkman zip and nothing
What can i do?

I tried to install it through recovery... app copied to system directory, but nothing appeared in app drawer.
Then tried to push it in system directory... nothing happened.
Tried to install it manually like other apk files... not installed.
At last tried to install through adb... nothing, installation failed...:crying:
Now what to do??? Do you know any other process to install it???
If yes, please tell how...
By the way, I want to mention that I'm using TWRP recovery...

The same issue too! All the packages with new walkman player, which I install on my device, xperia miro, not working! The icon of this player not appear. Also I tried to change buildprop file, by adding the lines from other threads, but it still not appear. What the reason?

For automatic brightness you need to flash mine latest NXT fw And clearphase it is up to our walkman i think I will try to find solution

i install your framework and its working in miro and your other framework works well in miro but with bugs

i am on gimlo O.2............... i had previously flashed BE from monster mod settings......... now i flashed this n activated BE2 from settings n observed a slight improvement in picture quality while viewing images from album app......... but there's no change in quality while using other apps.......... then i made changes in build.prop as stated above, then the Bravia Engine 2 suddenly dissapeared from my settings...... i reverted it back as it was b4 n it appeared again........ but the display quality hasn't increased as much as it should :/

Hey bro, thanks. For BE2 I will send you zip for hour or two, and for NXT LS Settings you need to have NXT LS enabled fw and other files.

NOTES
This app is re-signed by Pranav pandey to make it work on ICS devices. If it FCs then, try to clear the data of Movies app via app settings.
If not working then, go to /data/data/ folder and delete com.sonyericsson.video folder and reboot.
If not working then, wipe data/factory reset and wipe dalvik cache via recovery.
If again FCs then, first un-install your previous movies app and install this again.

basic formats, MP4 3GP WMV and maybe 2 or 3 more... but i strongely recommend play MP4 videos because it have a great quality and movies app dont have problems with it

There is /bin file on that flashable zip, set permissiom to? Because i saw on my /system/bin, the permission not rw-r--r--

i didnt set any permission of files that i putted in /system and worked fine

I think you should give permission to rwxr-xr-x.. Because there is a replaceable file on /system/bin, that same as /bin file on this flashable zip..
One more thing, why do i get this extreme case?

When do you get that error? It is occasioned by Movies App?

The movies do not fc when opening(i dont play some video, because i dont have a video right now). I curious with another app. So, after i open album, see some pict and bingo, i got that odd fc. I choose ok, and album crashed.
Note: my album is xzu album ported by someone..

I fix the layout for Spanish users, so if your language is not spanish DON'T INSTALL IT
Also i change the png battery and wifi icons and layout, so you status bar it's going to see like this
Installation:
You need to have GIMLO installed, and then download the attached JB SystemUI.zip and install it with CWM and that's all!

Finally i made it!!! I forgot that superuser mod of great Aeron is not flashable! Ryan extract the zip file, copy the files to system/framework and give permissions. Then you can use the port and whatever you want! Thanks djedjy for all your hard work! Keep porting!

If you lost them, I guess you need to refresh your ROM. Use gimlo with my NXT fw.

I installed fresh gimlo 2 with your framework. I installed the erorcun's original mod of 4.2 i1 and notification bar disappeared. I installed superuser mod of aeron and the new notification bar appeared. Settings.apk works without problems. Previously it disappeared because i chose settings from the notification bar. Then, i had fc. I will not use it and i will wait for an update.

The notification toggle works but settings are missing.

Try to flash it in a fresh rom, works for me

Can you make a center clock version?
I tried on my own, the clock is at the center of the screen but every time i try to open the notification drawer i have FC

X-Reality and super vivid mode for xperia e3 (updated)

You will need Cwm and rooted device , and make any backup before making modiification..
this is the pack of image enhancement from xperia z3 . this will give you x-reality(also know as bravia engine 3) and super vivid mode .

no need to add lines in build.prop

note-if settings force close , delete settings.apk from zip and reinstall.
in this case you will need to modify your settings.apk to get new image enhancement option in display (ask me i will tell you )
in case of album FC reinstall your album app and clear data and cache of album.

You will need a rooted device with working CWM recovery and root explorer
today i successfully installed x-reality and bravia engine in my xperia e3 .
it is working 100%
#there is color saturation and sharpness in pictures when viewed in album..
#colors are saturated in camera while taking picture.
#videos have richer color playback
if anyone wants to install , you can follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358793 .
note-1. edit build.prop in notepad++
2. skip step 2 . because there is no swiqi in our build.prop
3. lines under code copy all and paste in next line to ro.somc.clearphase.supported=true
4. save and paste in system change permissions to rw-r--r-- and flash the files.
here are two files attached with x-reality ON and OFF. see the difference.

Or simply use xplore to do to /system/build.prop edit it. Add line ro.somc.clearphase.supported=true
Save and exit
Reboot.

yes you can use xplore.. but i use root explorer as i am not familiar with xplore.
and you dont have to add ro.somc.clearphase.supported=true..
you have to add these lines
ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1
ro.service.swiqi3.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi3.enable=1
in the line next to ro.somc.clearphase.supported=true.

Sorry for taking time.
I had to compile cwm for flashing zip files.
It is working fine on 4.4.4 kitkat (18.5.B.0.26 D2212) update also.

due to temporary CWM in 4.4.4 , i still havent updated my phone.

One day ago i have released permenent cwm recovery for 4.4.4 on my root method in general section.

Not working with me
I did as u instructed and flashed both the zips using cwm.
Everything was fine with steps i did.
But after flashing when i restart my cell, there's no option under display section for Bravia engine & X-reality. Screenshots attached.

M using 18.4.A.2.13 (Android 4.4.2) Xperia E3 (D2202). Recently i deodexed my E3 using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-e3/themes-apps/d2202-deodex-superuser-mod-t2991030
I guess maybe coz of this its not working. And also i didnt made any changes before in build.prop
Wat shud i do now?

no deodex is not the problem . i also deodexed my rom before and its working fine on me .

as your android and phone model is same as mine you can try using my build.prop from the link and flash files again .
first flash x reality then go to advance and reboot recovery then install BE movie patch .then reboot system
