I'm having the same problem. Found this issue on the Market forums:

I restored to a previous rom with the old market and had the same issue yet my daughter's Magic and my old Hero both work fine. I tested the Hero with my Google ID.

It looks like a Samsung Galaxy issue so far. Go figure. I am fed up with anything Samsung.

Yeah I'm about to call theme and throw a fit like my two year old son.It is happening on my girls vibrant too

It's hit or miss though, some users are not having any problems. I just had 2 friends try on their Captivates and they both are working fine. Tried on Wi-Fi and 3G.

For the hell of it, I loaded Axura and same issue with that ROM. Frustrating.

I'm call samsung now

Please report your findings, the issue is scaring me. Started happening since today evening.

Agreed, I don't believe the issue is relative to Samsung but with the market. The more people who report it to Google the quicker we get it fixed.

Same problem here guys with my unlocked european version of galaxy s, i tried everything flashing new rom including original 2.1, 2..2 and even 2.2.1(jpu) and the problem still exist ''youre device may not be compatible with android market'' this is so annoying..... i'm disappointed by samsung great hardware but ****ty software

okay so SGS tools market fix has done some good some. some things I've search like espn sports center wasn't found but market working and no your device may not be compatible

Thanks but no change for me. Still cannot download anything I need especially Appbrain so I can easily restore all my other apps. I searched for some others manually like Angry Birds, Appbrain, Quadrant, Voice etc. Still cannot locate them. All the apps listed seem to be test apps.

Still no dice. I installed that market.apk, rebooted, tried again, fail, then applied SGS Tools market fix, rebooted, same issue. I am thinking it is a Google server side issue that needs to be fixed.

Finally someone who mentioned our device and problems !

I use it three months without any problems, but some users have had a serious problem as we know

wtf, only after 2 mins writing that post my sgr gone off and now its not starting i think its f....ked up

As you know that Samsung had launched GTi9103 Galaxy R back in Aug 2011. Now the product has been discontinued. Samsung never gave any clear answer about why the product has been discontinued. Some sources of Samsung say that it was launched with limited stocks while some say due to hardware problem.
Long back, they had also announced Galaxy R will receive ICS update and yet there is no clarification on it. On top of it they are misguiding the customers to stay patient.

Galaxy R problems buffering music on Saavn
Guys,
I noticed a problem on my phone while using the apps Saavn and Dhingana.
My phone buffers first 1-2 minutes of the song and never completes. It is not a problem with the internet bandwidth. Even with a 2mbps broadband connection, I've been facing this problem. Any advice will be appreciated.

i think there must be prob with those apps. i use usound app to stream music many time and till date i havent faced any glitch. try re installing those apps.
to ensure that u dont have issue with bandwidth try speedtest app from market.

Why is gsmarena not responding to our request...??

CM10 and CM11 for P500 - Wi-fi bug

In every CM10 or CM11 versions, I have experienced the same problem.
After one or two dozens of minutes, or after a deepsleep, the cellphone won´t reconnect or re-enable wi-fi.
Anyone here with the same problem? It happens to most CM10 or CM11 versions.

Thank you. I was going mad with this. I've used a lot of my 300 megs of internet and my wifi just wouldn't work. I think i don't have anything to brag about my p500 anymore.

I have been trying for two days to get the Google dialer to work on my Galaxy S3 running 4.4.2 rooted with towelroot. Tried everything I know except for flashing the zip because I don't yet have a custom recovery. Any help would b appreciated. My guess is that it's conflicting with touchwiz.

Sorry about my delay. Yepppp cant seem to get it to work, im guessing it's to do with the samsung framework. Ive gotten to a point where I can get it to launch but contacts wont show and calling will cause the app to crash despite also including the callui and callprovider apks. Forgive me if my description is a little inaccurate as im not looking at my phone at the moment

Hi all,i have an ols galaxy s2 running cyanogenmod version 12.1-20150617-unoficia-i9100
the rom works fine but i miss the fm radio app,does anyone know what radio app can work with this rom and give me a link,all the ones i have tried either dont run or need a data connection.

I can't say much though, I have one as well but mine decided to stop charging battery. If can get it up and running this weekend, I will see if I can extract radio app off the factory ROM. I seem to remember using the radio, but it might have been streaming.
