I opened this thread just for sharing this awesome app ( GREENIFY ). Its not my app i only want to share whith you, i9003 users, cuz we allways ran out of free ram.
With this awesome app we can decrease the ram comsumption of determinate installed apps,( you can install lots of apps and dont worry about ram ), i personally tested it and can say it works perfectly.
Here you got the link to the XDA ORIGINAL thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155737
Please dont forget to hit the thanks button of the developer of this powerfull app.
I hope you enjoy the power of having a lot of free ram.

You can check your battery usage using the App called Better battery stats . Once you get to know the culprit ( wakelocks , battery eating apps ) those apps can be hibernated . Ex. I hibernate Maps , Google + etc ..
it doesnt hipernate touchdown app
but anyway, superb app
You cannot hibernate system apps using Greenify.. It can hibernate only downloaded apps.. .. Even apps that have been granted device admin status cannot be hibernated..
There is a feature which sends some kinda anonymous usage data via the greenify app.. Go to settings in the greenify app and turn it off..

Yes i use it and works flawesly on cm10 &cm10.1.
I hibernated about 6/7 system apps and no problem.
You need xposed installer.apk to install xposed framework to make greenify pro works correctly.

Dsp manager, play store, themes provider, facebook, media storage.... and what you want. If you notice a bad behavior on the phone only have to degreenify those sistem apps one by one, to know which shouldnt be greenified.

I've done that already. I have greenified quite a few system apps. But media storage, play store don't seem to appear in the list... And moreover when I try to greenify Play Store by using the search and then clicking on the notification.. It says system apps cannot be greenified..
Like I said, I have already greenified quite a few System apps.. But play store will not greenify..

Ohkk .. for better gaming performance u need 3 apps and some changes in developer options .
So, first go to settings >developer options and tick mark "force gpu rendering" and scroll down then tick mark "Don't keep activities" after that select background process limit and set it to no background processes. This will decrease some load on processor as there will be no background process . Now the 3 apps that u will need r
1. link to sd( for freezing apps )
2 Ram Manager Pro( This is the taskmanager that i use)
3. Chainfire 3d v 3.3 ( i know u will say cf3d causes bootloop in ics and jb but it is working on my e dual in ics )
Ohk now freeze all the un necessary google apps and sony apps with link to sd
After that install cf3d ( only version 3.3 works on e dual in ics so download this version). After installation is complete open cf3d and select open gl settings and tick reduce texture quality and size . After this use Ram Manager to kill all apps . After completing these steps you will have more than 250 mb free ram and less load on cpu ( because no background processes will be there) less load on gpu ( chainfire will downscale the graphics upto 4x) . And your phone will run hd games like nexus
But if u find something confusing then first ask me again and then proceed. ( with these steps i am able to play dead space hd with no lag , dead space runs ok without these setting but it gets hiccups while fighting and entering some graphic intensive areas . But now game is just flawless).
Plzz hit thanks button if i helped you

I think u should not ( i have tested it on ics ony) but if you know how to flash rom from androxyde flashtool then you can proceed , because if you got bootloop you can recover your phone by flashing your stock rom from androxyde flashtool . But your phone can run games smoothly without chainfire because both the phones (xperia e dual/single) have an overclocked adreno 200 that is adreno 200 (enhanced) . But cf3d will give an additional boost to gaming .

Hi!
I want to share this method I found to root our xperia. I searched a lot here, but most methods included changing the version, then rooting, and downloading several other stuff. This one is pretty easier than most. It's a PC software called Kingo Root App (google it, I can't post links yet )
It's REAAALLY easy to use. Just download and follow the steps the program asks (activate bootloader on cellphone and download appropriate driver wich the soft downloads alone, you don't have to do anything but wait) and after clicking the root button, let it finish. Really easy and works like charm. I suppose it also works for Miro, J and Tipo. There is a list of supported devices on the site so you can check it. On my Xperia E C1504 with latest firmware it worked like charm.
So, if anybody wants to give it a try, please post the results here
PD: not my soft nor related with the developing of it. Just found it around here and gave it a try.
PD2: It installs SuperSU

The software's FAQ says you can do it (First answer on the FAQ page "You can “unroot” your device any time with Kingo Android Root") but i have not tried it so I can't tell you how it would be. I imagine you have to connect your phone to the pc, start the program and there should be the unroot option. Search it. If the page says you can, then there must be the option to unroot. Try it and share if it was possible
PD: out of curiosity: Why would you root and then unroot your device? haha

Okay, after searching a bit on google I found this ( techgravy. net/one-click-android-root-kingo-rooting-tool erase the space between the "." and "net"). It should be as I said on my previous response according to this page (the example is with another phone but I imagine it applies)

Yes you will get your warranty back after you unroot.
As for battery saving apps, you can try DU Battery Saver and Greenify.
For reducing lag, try Seeder, LagFix, RAM Manager Pro and Greenify.
And what do you mean by saying you don't know how to use Greenify... It's so simple!
Just pick an app, and select the tick mark (on the upper right) and That's It!
Even SetCPU is not so hard. Think logically(... those sliders are for the max and min frequency of your processor. Increase the min to 1008 for getting the best out of the CPU. (thus will cause SEVERE battery drain however, so use it only when u need it.

Open bootloader with FLASHTOOL(if your phone allows it) with Sony official code. You get it from Sony site.
Make update to 11.3.A.2.23 with EMMA
Install FRAMAROOT.apk and root your phone with Gandalf version
And you have latest version with opened bootloader and rooted!
By me its worked, but there is always a different way do to this!Just read and search and try and...

Look, the dev who made that app didn't release it on xda.
He put it on Google Play Store instead, and put a price on it.
You are fully free to use the APKs that are available on xda (uploaded on xda) (and thank the dev for providing awesome stuff at no cost!)
Also note that it isn't xda who makes these apps, but the devs who do. And it's completely their choice if they want to upload the app on xda or on Play Store.
So show some respect to the dev - go and buy it.
P.S - I could upload the APK, but then admins and mods will come at me with all guns blaring and ban my account.
So, no hard feelings, but I cannot provide you the APK

dude piracy is not allowed.the dev has put much effort to develop the app.if you need it buy it from play store or choose free alternatives!
and once someone has bought a paid app from play store, that doesn't allow him to circulate the apk ! its for his own personal use!
