Hi,
I have problems with my tablet. I used modified kernel and now I have performance issues, so I want to revert back. I have CWM and rooted device. I want to get my stock kernel. Im using latest firmware version.
Whats my problem? I dont have stock kernel anymore. Is there any chance getting tablet back alive?
Thanks in forward.

Is there any reason to stick with the stock rom vs going with something else (ie eos nightly)
Sure nightly will be more optimized, but any other reason if already rooted?
Hi,
First thanks to Joosh3 for Ultimate N7000 XXLSC JellyBean 4.1.2 v5.1.
I installed this ROM yesterday and have no issues till now.
I need to know if I can get the KIES to work as I need to restore the data from it.
Also, what is the safest method to go back to stock kernel and stock ROM if there is a need to reclaim the warranty as my phone is only a month old. I am new to ROM/kernel flashing and would appreciate if I can get clear and simple instructions.
Thanks.
Can some one help me on this?
Also fb information ticker is not working.

if i'm not mistaken, this ROM is ROOTED..and KIES will not detect any leaked/custom/rooted ROM...but there's possibility, depends on the dev itself because they can could make things work...and about stock ROM and stock kernel, u may want to check sammobile.com..download your original firmware from there and flash it via odin..thats all that i can help cz im a newbie hehehe.

hi.. you can flash back to stock rom. I did on my p3110 downgrade from JB to ICS back., you can find the stock rom at sammobile. try to google. flash back use odin.you can find video in youtube as well how to do it.
Does anyone know if there is a stock rom for the sch-i705 and where to download?
After updating to a new rom i mean flashing a custom rom JB to KK, the sensors malfunctioned and it is seen that reverting back to a previous rom fixed the issue. But can someone guide which type of files or sensir files i need to get from my previous stock JB and replace or add in KK so that the rom would work fine. Anybody who has experience in working with building roms can help out. Thanks in advance.:good:
Can you please post the Device and the Rom in question ? That will help me point you in the right direction.
It is not as easy as replacing Kitkat files with JellyBean files and hope to make it work.
I have looked for weeks for these. I have the tab on 4.0.4 rooted with a custom recovery. I was going to try the blamesamsung kernel to get rid of the lag with the stock rom, or just flash CM 9 which I know works. I can't find any downloads for either. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
