yeah. Ive been asking why there is no development thread for this phone.

Yeah, not having support in the XDA is a little dicouraging. Let's hope it will get the support it needs soon!

I wonder if the S Duos 2 ROM can be ported to our device?
ICS is getting really boring and TouchWiz is really laggy and ugly :/

still no development thread!!!

There should be a forum for this.... but yet nothing! And now the new s duos came in the market , and all are pretty cheaper !!!
The new one ( S7582 ) has the same specs except for the cpu and maybe the (gpu). The new one is 1.2GHz , dual core, and has android 4.2.
I want this rom tweaked and installed on my S7562...

Was browsing the internet when found the latest Nexus 5 Google launcher, latest google now, hangout with sms and others..
I have tested it to be working fine on my I9500.Hope others would like it.

Here, you should share a brief description of the features, you expect from a ROM for your Device, SGS Duos.
Please follow some simple rules and try not to make this thread messy :

1. Want miui or cynogen port to a duos
miui is there for dual aim mobiles so it can be done on our device
2.OR paranoid android as there so many ports for 512mb ram single core ics devices
3. fast interface which is really smooth in every app
are u going to port any rom for this device or u just thinking to mod only the stock rom?

Just trying to build something along with some other devs who worked on this device before..!

i will post the link of your thread to a certai facebook group so they can add some suggestions.
anyways, i want a cm10 themed rom. the blue one. the sim icon on the nav bar should disappear.

The SIM icons are helpful for easy switching between SIMs..! Need a replacement or removal?

Every time when i m playing game and a phone call comes...my phn got hanged for a few secs then the caller name and other options are displayed...pls fix this in your rom

Games talk up a lot of RAM.. Coz of single core processor I think it's Hard to fix it up.. Anyways, will try...

if you could make the theme to look like that one, i'll use your rom in a heartbeat.
im not really into gaming, im more like a message-mail type of person. the only concern i have for this phone is its dull theme and the lag issues.

enabling clear voice recording isn't easy..!

I want KitKat first of all if you could do this would be enough at this point.
at least this
- undervolt if possible
- disable zram and reallocate to use full 768mb of ram with swap in cache
