Got my S4 at the end of June, and after putting a case on it, (Seidio surface) Had to find a car mount case that fit with the case on. Of course I could have used an adustable arm case, but I haven't seen many of those that I like. I found slipgripcarmounts.com - they make custom phone mounts for either the bare phone, or with one of many different cases. I'll try and snap a pic tomorrow when it's light out, but here's the link http://www.slipgripcarmounts.com/Galaxy-S4_c_28044.html there's lots of different cases covered, and many different mounting types. check it out!
Hey, friend.
I've bought http://www.ebay.com/itm/Foldable-Un...or-Samsung-Galaxy-S-IV-S4-i9500-/390581355255 this one 2 days ago and I think it's a great deal! Cheap price and good quallity. I will post my feedback when I got it too. :good:

I just have this mount I got at Walmart. I just put in snug and don't have to hit the release. Had it for months and even with Ohio's bad roads never had the phone fall out.

I tried so many mounts I got tired of it. lol The one I got just works the best for me. I like that I can put it in my other car and it will work with any phone so I don't have to buy another one. I hate the suction cup ones.
so funciona em carro?

updated the first post, sorry for the sideways attached pics!
Check out IBolt cases
I got an Ibolt case for my S4, it's really nice, especially for anyone that commutes or does a lot of driving.
In Amazon just use search terms ibolt and s4.
Works perfectly. Supports all functions of phone, charge, sound by bluetooth or aux. One quirk of phone, not the dock is that it does transmit phone calls through USB (then through 3.5mm stereo out). The iBolt company brings this information out right away, which is nice. They also explain you will need a bluetooth solution to hear calls through your car stereo speakers due to the phone, and not the dock. I've also contacted customer service and they are top notch. This dock also fits the Note 2 and S3 and S4 with any case. Great engineering and build quality. Top notch.
Just got this phone
I ordered a rammount should be here friday I'll post pics

Hey all, so, my headphones finally broke after months of intense use (the left headphone doesn't work anymore, but the right one still does).
Does anyone have a cheaper recommendation other than the stock SGS4G headset? I love the thing, but I just wanna see what other possibilities there are. $30 for a headset seems like a pretty generous amount.

SnuggBuds.
I use these I used them for running to. They have great bass sound.
I purchased the headset from AntonX's post. I'm waiting for them to arrive now. I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not it's comparable to the OEM headset.
Then again, it's shipped from Hong Kong, so I'm guessing it would be authentic Samsung...
On another note, I realize that ALL of my headphones always break from the connector. One of the earbuds always end up failing on me. I'm guessing it's because I don't store them away properly (I just coil it up and put it into my ass pocket). So...how do you guys keep your headphones safe?
I purchased them a month ago too. They are under dust in my bedroom corner. Poor sound, difficult to plug in properly to get the most sound. I dont think this is authentic from samsung. They r just fake.you get what you pay for

Hm, that's strange. I myself found links to these on xda I9000 accessory forum, and people who bought them didn't seem to complain and actually made impression that these were original Samsung OEMs. Well, the ones that came with the phone don't sound that great either, maybe just OK.
I have a pair of these too:
http://www.amazon.com/JVC-HA-FX35-B...DVRI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310007450&sr=8-1
They are not perfect but quite good for cheap ones.

Okay, I just received the five headsets from this guy. They were ALL defective. They are not even close to acceptable, and the answer/end call buttons don't work either.
Wish me luck on returning these to Hong Kong.

I'd recommend something like Skull Candy Mic'd
That model is only $20, and is the same style as the Samsung ones. They feel about the same in comfort, but they definitely sound better with music.

Hrm, that's definitely something I'll look into. How is the call quality on that? For the Samsung OEM headset, it sounds pretty good.
Btw, you can get them from Amazon for cheaper, and Skullcandy still provides warranty for them!

For anyone that may be remotely interested, timesaviour on Ebay (the seller mentioned by AntonX) has the OEM headset for Samsung Galaxy S I9000. All the headsets he sent me didn't seem to work for the SGS4G though (except for one that was actually a SGS4G OEM headset).
Still, he was cool enough to give me a refund for the defective ones.
I'll definitely be checking out the Skullcandy Ink'd Mic'd though. I've generally had great experiences with Skullcandy, and with warranty, why not!

If you get on ebay an search for best buy outlet, they usually have some great deals. I've bought 3 sets of insignia Bluetooth NS-BTHDP behind the head headsets. And they are really good. I paid $20 or less for each set from best buy on ebay. I hate the earbud kind. Oh these insignias were about $120 in stores when I bought them. I don't know how much they would be now. And they give you free shipping on them. So if you like Bluetooth headset id say check that out. And all mine were brand new still in original packaging. Hope this helps out.

So far, I'm really convinced with the Skullcandy Ink'd Mic'd though. Can't really go wrong for $15 + warranty!
Has anyone tried Thinksound ts02+mic?
Is it me, or do iphone headphones work improperly on the SGS4G?
Specifically, I can't get the button the play/stop/skip track properly. It works sometimes, but very inconsistently.
I'm getting tired of going through headsets like crazy. I was buying some cheap ones on ebay for $7 that would last me about a month, so I decided to spend the extra $ and get some M6p's. I'm on my 3rd replacement set.. They have lasted me around 30 days. I just received my most recent replacements yesterday. Upon my first use this morning, the skip/play/pause button stuck in.. If I just wiggle the wire, it skips/pauses/plays. Now I'm going for a 4th set, and I'm sick of this...
Can anyone recommend an over the ear w/ inline mic with play/pause/skip?

I can't recommend an over-the-ear pair over earbuds, but I can recommend the LG HBS-700 Bluetooth Headset...
I've had it since the beginning of December 2011, and it still works great. Sound quality is surprisingly good, and all the controls work... It has separate volume control, so these things get LOUD. and the neck piece vibrates whenever you get a call, and it is very much sweat resistant. I do some crazy workouts with these earbuds, and they are still working fine. The battery lasts a long time too, I charge it like once every two weeks.
Don't buy his headphones ^^ , they are LG haha I'm jk but u should try the zagg smartbudds for working out. They are amazing and durable. Had them for 4 months now and if u look online for discount codes. U can get em for 25$ instead of 50

I bought one at Frys Electronics (I think) that was designed for the S2 rather than the Skyrocket. It works, but is a tight fit (screen size is different) and it needed a subtle mod for the headphone jack. Other than that, it was cheap and it works.

I bought a set off amazon for cheap but were fake, real obvious fakes even though their description said originals.
they were labeled "Samsnug" was the first give away, I compared them to my originals, the cables were not flat, the fakes are round originals are flat.
other give away, is the strain relief at the end of each ear bud was longer, the real ones are shorter.
I gave up and bought a set off ebay from a S4 owner who didn't need them, they were originals with new extra set of ear buds.
Cost me 11 bucks. there are a lot of them on ebay but really hard to tell if they are fakes unless they are come out of the S4 box.
Good luck.

Did anyone ever find a place to get these? I'd really love to get another set... Mine are almost shot.
Why stay with OEM headphones that came with the phone? They're usually ok, but not necessarily specially tuned for the audio drivers in the device to provide the best experience. I have a cheapo $20 pair of SoundAura BT headphones and a pair of Puggs in-ears. With Viper4Android I've blown my friends Beats and Skullcandy's out of the water with clarity and bass. In this age of mods you really can have just about any set you want and tune them yourself with apps. You can't really expect original phone headphones to stick around too long after the device is released.

I've tried several different (cheap) ear bud headphones and they all suck, I was so surprised when I tried the ones that came with this phone they really were great, they stay in my ear when I turn my head, the plug end hasn't failed after years of use, they sound good enough for me and much better than any other cheap ones I've tried... they even block out other sound from the surroundings surprisingly well. I dunno all around I was just really impressed with these ones -- all the little details.
They seem to me like a legitimate product of their own rather than some worthless value add that doesn't add any value.
Really though I was just hoping I'd get lucky and find someone on here that happened to have a pair laying around they didn't want!
Thought I would share my experience with car docks for those who dont want to shell out a fortune AND have something reliable/rock solid.. I have spent a fortune over the years trying out all kinds of docks/stands/holders over the years. You name it - I've bought it.
While looking for another one for my Pixel a month ago (and whilst still using my 6p) - I came across a whole raft (on ebay/aliexpress) of el-cheapo cd player phone holders. Bought it as a stop gap.
Was very skeptical for something that costs about $3 at first but amazingly it works and is rock solid/stable and the location is perfect - at least on my Honda HRV. I never use the CD player in my car so might as well use that slot
I have this one but there are variations to the design on ebay...

I have one just like this. I like it better than any other dock I've used.
I have something similar, but instead of a holder, mine is just magnetic - so its even easier to attach the phone. I'll try and find a link

Cool. Sounds even better.. Please do share the link.
I use an air vent mount for mine, it cost me £5 and does the job nicely, also it doesn't move around at all and can swivel and twist 360 degrees.
I had a bad experience with my last CD slot mount from Ppyple. It broke at the ball joint end.
I use to have a magnet mount with the Nexus 5 (love the built in magnets) but can't with the Pixel. I don't do cases.
I have attached images of the broken Ppyple CD mount
