[Q] [APP Asking]USB TV TUNER support on android

Hi every wonderfull android devs !!
I'm a proud owner of the wonderfull (again) TF101, but i guess something usefull is missing in android mobility solution : i named : USB/PCI driver and player for TNT DVB-T TV Tuners under android
As now tablets and even phone have USB plugs and enough power to make it, maybe they can support those little USB TV tuner dongles.
As reference under windows i'm using pouchin TV which is a lite and fluid player for TNT TV (DVB-T - H264 codecs etc ...) but i know there are many more like this one and maybe some which could be better... BUT my guess is for android !! i fall in love with it, its not perfect but it tend to be a light and easy to use (and in same time powerfull and completly controlable and customizable).
(But if i can make a parenthesis i would say that android fully interface with windows and that's great but only few apps can fill the connectivity gap between androtablets and androphones (like pdanet for instance). So please think about functionnality between 2 android device in your apps devs
parenthesis closed . )
So what about my suggestion about a new kind of app for android : i mean TNT TV support (for mobility reasons) through mini antennas or wall antenna plugs?..
First : is it possible? (i guess most linux distro already did it)
second : will it be done one day? does some brave guys/grils with gold software coding hands would be brave enough to make it !?
Please respond to my hope!!!
Thank a lot for all the work already done and for the one that will be ! (in any topics )

USB TV tuner support on the gen8 Archos devices.
I am looking for this too.
Hi
First thanks for replies.
So if i have well read, froyo include the good drivers for usb tuners, but the transformer is under honeycomb (but that shouldn't be a trouble, as i guess that drivers would be included to it also) and the main trouble would be to adapt this app to the transformer (hardware point of view), it's just à guess as I'm just a Mc guyver with c code... And at least working on a rooted stock Rom..
Am i right?

Is thid project "death"?
I have a DVB-T-Stick with RTL2832U Chip (and 820T).
In the Play store, there is also a driver for this "RTL2832U" based DVB-T sticks Intended for a SDR App.
I can receive flight transponder data live from airplanes with a app, but there is no universal DVB-T tv app ?
Only "DVB-T for Android" etc., for ELECOM Micro-USB etc. DVB-T-Tuners.
Hello All,
May you want to check this USB tuner supports on Android TV;

Sync Video/Audio From PC To Android

Ok everyone something new that I am trying to setup, something to the effect of a home media streaming server.
The server it self is a laptop intel i5 6gb ram win 7 connected to tv via HDMI, I used this to play netflix, torrents, ect and basically cut off my cable bill.
What I would like to do now is to stream the video/audio via wifi to other android devices that are connected to other tv's through out the house.
for the client side, I will be useing MK802 II android 4.0. connected via HDMI,
question to everyone is ... Has anyone else already accomplish this? and can you give any pointers. I know I can simply share files, ect but I want to sync the video signal to the other televisions so If a video is on in the living room , the same exact video is playing in the kitchen.
And being I want to do this via Android Im here at xda to pick some brains
Thank you in advance

[Q] Setting up my old pc to screen mirror on sony 3d tv

We just purchased a sony 3d tv.
It is amazing and all but i was surprised that there's no dvi port so i can plug my old pc in it and use xbmc for hom streaming.
Today i saw there's a screen mirroring function.
I was wondering how i can use it to stream from pc to the tv by mirroring the screen.
But i read that it's only for sony phones and tablets.
I directly thought about android x86 on pc. But can someone tell me how i can make it show up as a sony device?
like maybe mess with the built to make it look like a sony tablet for example.
Thx in advance!

Best DLNA app that can be used with a Room box

Hi getting a Roku box next week and I have a lot of movies and shows that I watch on my phone. I'm pretty sure that the Roku box supports DLNA streaming. In the past I have tried to use DLNA apps from my LG Volt to my Xbox 360 and the video was blurry and chopped up. I would like to know what the best App that can be used. Plus I need to know what I need to download on the Roku box and what I need to download on my android phone. All help is be appreciated. (Feedback will determine which Roku box I will need to buy)

Android TV box/stick to stream from laptop

Hello,
I'm new here so please pardon my 'newbiness' .
I've been searching around for an affordable tv box/stick that would enable me to:
1. Stream my laptop's desktop on my Smart TV. My idea is to use a wireless keyboard and mouse and do some work on my laptop, but sitting on the couch and looking my Smart TV.
2. Stream my xbmc from my laptop in HD quality to my Smart TV. I would love to stream Movies and TV series from my laptop's XBMC to my Smart Tv in HD quality without any lap or errors.
Is this doable with a TV stick or TV box that is affordable?
Thank you for your time and looking forward to your replays.
Kind Regards,
Luka
I am pretty new to TV streaming etc and am having a lot of fun with a cheap UBOX I bought. reading what you say though suggests to me that you don't need to spend any money at all!
if you are happy using your laptop in the way that you say (and assuming it has an hdmi slot) -why not simply run an HDMI cable to the TV and clone the screens?
perhaps I'm being dumb here, but methinks you are complicating matters -
all the many cheap boxes one can get will simply plug into your tv, pick up your wifi, run kodi etc and away you go -
so why bother with the laptop at all?
Also what do you class as "cheap"? What's your budget?
just these simple usages,u ve got 2 ways,1st,buy a wifi display stick,2nd,hdmi direct plug
