Attention: Daniyal Shaikh (maker of D-xperia HD and Thunder storm ROMS for Noir A2)
Sir I have rooted my A2 (its version 2 i. e. v2, busybox and SQlite installed) and installed D-xperia HD ROM.. all applications are working fine but there are some problems,
1. SWAPPER for ROOT creates SWAP.SWP file in SD card but still lags in running Temple Run 2 and UC Browser/Dolphin Browser.. I still dont know is it really working?
2. GPS is not working... I installed Sygic and all its maps on SD card.. everything is working fine except GPS..
please help..............
any other member who knows or can be of some help please be kind enough.. thanks
Refresh ur device and format ur sd card once again then try to reinstall the rom.. After doing all of this if u face problems still on so try to install some other roms for A2 and see the results.. Temple run type games are much heavier for just 256 Mb of ram.. U should realize it..!!!

well hd games are not lagging in my a2 nd others also but if u have this prob then just download the hd games for armv6 cpu then all games will work without any lag!!
nd for gps i m looking to it to fix this.

May be a custom rom can tweak it up a little bit but there is no solution to boost it up extaordinarily ... The reason Gameloft games FC is something todo with the firmware, the specs of phone are fine to run them ... The ram is also good 512 mb is a lot of ram for the mobile in this price range.

need pakeeza (without bloatware) stable ROM for this device. Here on XDA I have seen some Pakistani developers but they work on branded devices.
We would have to wait until a good developer develops a ROM for our phone.

Amazing Spiderman Game Crashes !!
I had the same problem with "Amazing Spiderman" game, it got crashed everytime after 1 minute.
Is there a solution???
The problem is solved, try to install PAQONE ROM and your games won't crash.

Are these 3 games playable?
They fc whenever I use two fingers at once,
Assasins Creed is so awesome,
but its hard to play without two fingers at once(jumping & killing us mutituch based).
Do they work on yours?

Less free ram!
Well its a pretty nice ROM for A500 but there are some bugs not for daily use! The main problem in this ROM is the Low RAM issue! Its lags alot! even after fresh installation of this ROM you are having only +60MB of RAM! After Cleaning you get almost +90MB without having any application running in the background(Except the stock one i.e system apps) After installing some apps and games the phones lagging gets double!
The sound Tab in the setting menu is also missing! How one is suppose to disable the vibration on softkeys!
OP is requested to kindly Update the thread with the known bugs of this ROM as it will greatly help new users to know whether its worth download or not! :angel:

As for sound tab which version are you running v1 or v2.?
have you tried pure perfomance mod?
You can not expect perfomance from this phone especially on rom like this which is all about graphics.

I Tried v2 there was Viper sound setting instead of Normal Sound Tab. Didn't tried the performance mode because i restored my backup of lewa ROM immediately. I think it doesnt make any major difference if you flash the Performance mode tweaks.
Yeah you are right we cant expect performance from this phone and from this ROM also but we can try different tweaks and other stuff from this xda to make it work smoothly.

Goto this thread and follow the rooting method only. It works almost for any MTK device simply. If still you dnt get root then tell me there are other ways also!

Take back up first....
Uninstall any script installed earlier...

Flash andiroux's latest kernal 3.4.69.......
Then Flash Suvi Booster Script V4 as per the instruction given in the post..... and select 1st profile "Performance and Powersave"

Are u sure its working fine ? Because i have had this rom for two days. And its too much laggy.. I use alot of apps and i play games too.. Are u sure that it will make it smoother ?

Yeah...took the pain off installing the apps again....but the ROM is worth downloading and ....faster than the v1 subway surfer working gr8....no lags at all....even installing about 20 apps games are working smooth...:thumbup:

Everything is perfect smooth and super cool rom but I've issues with Tilt during game play.. Auto rotation problem.. can you please provide a fix for this problem, While playing temple run and rail rush it's stuck to the right side..

yeah that's what .. Many don't have this problem but I am facing it.. Screen is always tilted to right .. I tried changing Kernal etc.. Re-installing rom and even after restoring my old back-up I have this issue.. Any guesses why.. Think file in system folder is not proper..modem.img .. can you give some fix??

Question about memory swapping
Hai guys, I am new to flashing rom and I am in stock rom presently. I have decided to flash this rom and so I rooted my A117 using Framaroot. Now going to install TWRP recovery using TWRP manager. Then I will install this rom.
My question is, since this rom is pre swapped, will the apps that I backed up using Titanium Backup can be restored ?. Am asking because internal storage and sd card paths of present rom will become conflict for new kitkat rom right ?

There should be no problem of that in the latest verison.
And if there a problem of the internal storage then u can use swapper to swap the memories....
U r going to flash this rom but i might tell u that this rom drains a lot of battery..rest is ur choice

This is very Rom, but faced he problem with USB Tethering, Whenever i make it On it goes back to OFF automatically....
Has anybody else faced it. Checked by flashing ROM 3 times.

1 when i install Google play service I can't use it . every time I try to acces It will crashed
(So I can't switch my clash of clan's account )
2 I can't use rom manager (always crashed)
3 Google play market not saported
4 all vice services are blocked
5 data services are blocked

the reason is youtube doesnt allow to play hd videos in Kitkat 4.4.4

firstly place Phonesky(playstore) in system/priv-app using any root explorer. install google play service in phone memory.
