how to flash a new room to an already rooted phone? - Droid 2 Global General

how to flash a new stable room to an already rooted D2G phone? currently running os 2.2 , and cmw is also flashed via Room Manger ,
os ver.ICS of JB can be flashed on my D2G or not?
I also want to use its internal 8gb Memory as media storage. which procedure should be adopted?
plz simple process

1. you still need a bootstrap read [HOW TO] Install/Use Droid 2/X/3 Bootstrap
2. for 2.2 froyo, only roms are cm7 and steel droid, both are good rom but only 2.3.7 gingerbread
no 4.2 jellybean roms, are some 4.0 ics roms but you will need to upgrade phone to 2.3.3 system version 4.5.608 first.

[Q] Paranoid rom for Galaxy Note - Is there any way to install it over stock ICS

HI ,
I have a questions about the Paranoid Galaxy note ROM.
1. Can we install it over the Stock ICS (UK) ?
2. Can we get the only Hybrid feature for ICS rooted Stock ?
3. Can we install the ROM over GB stock rooted ?
Is there any way i can develop the hybrid feature for ICS stock rom . Please suggest me a way ?
Because the UK rom is pretty much stable as compaired to stock rom and I am widely using the S-Pen feature and thats why i am not able to move to GB .
Pleaseeeeeeee Help me ...
Thanks,
In Advance
1- No you can't.
In Paranoid's page it says:
DON'T flash FROM ANY SAMSUNG ICS OR ROMS BASED ON SAMSUNG KERNELS (my CM9, AOSP, etc)
Flash any stock GB rom with odin / or any GB kernel [instructions] root device [instructions] and reboot into recovery once again before flashing this
2- I dont think so. it would generally possible with a custom rom because not just the launcher, but also all the apps will be like a tablet app.
3- Yes you can and it is also the recommended one.

[Q] how important is it to restore your bootchain after root?

Hey guys, I was wanted to root my gs3 using this guide [GUIDE] Root for Jelly Bean 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 OTA ***UPDATED 5/29*** - xda-developers but for step 6 where you flash the bootchain the only bootchain versions offered are for 4.1.2 are VRBMB1 and VRBMD3. I have Verizon and have baseband version VRBMF1. I know that that step is optional but how important is it? After rooting I am wanting to flash to an aosp 4.2.2 rom or a cyanogenmod 10.1 rom. Will I still be able to do this if I don't restore the bootchain? Also on an unrelated question , i know that the stock android camera doesnt have the option to save pictures to the sd card, Will I be able to do this on a stock android rom? Thank you all for your help

Not very important to flash the bootchain at all. Yes, you can flash whatever rom, kernel, or mod regardless of your bootchain's status.

Not sure I understand your question cuz you used the phrase "stock android rom" as a comparison to itself. Do you mean "I know stock android (per a Nexus device) does not have an option to save to external sdcard so does AOSP on the GSIII have this option by default?" If you meant this, I don't believe JB 4.3 roms on our device support it natively. I'm not sure about JB 4.2.2 roms. For example, I've been using Slim Bean beta (AOSP 4.3) since Saturday and there's no setting to save to external sdcard cuz it uses the 4.3 camera. I imagine more of AOSP is like this. More responses will be helpful.

I have this device, which I rooted and loaded the ICJ ROM (from ICJ Team).
I am planning to move back to the original Ginger Bread ROM (2.3.5).
How can I do it.
