[Q] LG Ally 2.2.1 root

I need some assistance rooting my LG ally I just updated to froyo. I've tried using universal and root and z4 root neither of them work what do I need to do

Just rooted the wife's ally. Used superone click, wasted a ****load of time before installing the right drivers but once I had the drivers I was golden.

Where did you get the correct drivers from?
I've been struggling all afternoon, tried an xp and vista machine but getting nowhere

I need some help with my ally
been researching how to root this damn phone, with no success. after several hours of searching i have gotten the usb drivers to install, now what?

Simple app that does most of the work for you,
Just put phone in debug mode, and it will do the rest.
It worked well for me, Try it If it helps you,

simple one click way of rooting ally isn't recommended. there is a complete and better way to root it and it also comes with velocity 1.0!!!!!!!!!!!
goto the all things root section of the android forums and goto the ally section and you should be able to navigate to the guide
this forum needs an lg ally section!!!!!!! lets push the mods to give us one

Rooting Iball Slide 6318i​
Maybe you’re upset about Iball taking up a lot of your new Slide Tab’s storage space with all of its bloatware or perhaps you want to use multi window with all of your apps, not just the ones Iball has chosen for you (for Example the built-in Vedio Player) . Either way, having root access can help. Simply follow these steps below to root your Iball Slide 6318i and then use the appropriate apps to finish off the job. This procedure should work on all Iball Slide tablets and as with all rooting procedures, you are doing this at your risks and you are voiding your warranty, But still i can ensure you 100% guarantee that you wont brick you’re device.
NOTE:- Even if you’re not satisfied with your rooted device you can UnRoot it and Get back your Tab’s warranty period.
1. Install the latest ADB Drivers for your Tablet
2. Go to Settings>Storage>USB Connection>Media Device (MTP)
3.Connect your Iball Slide to youre PC via Datacable
4.Go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging
5.Download -UnlockRoot v4.1(Free Version works just fine)
6.Open the program and run as administrator
7.Click on Root and wait for the program to list your Tab (If your tab does’nt get listed REDO STEPS – 2,3,4,6)
8.Wait for the Root Button to Turn green And disconnect youre phone
9.Check your Tab for and app called Superuser. If the app is available ROOTING IS DONE !>!

finally I rooted my I ball slide6318 tab but I didn't find much difference except superuser icon. I am new to android as I don't know much about android. please tell me how it works thanks

in vedo i saw unlockroot v3.31 but what we need is v4.1 (as told to us). can some one give me installer(from website not able to downlod)

shiva rooting helps us to install many cracked apps . so we need root.

unlockroot v3.31 is free one and the other v4.41 is paid one
so if you are ready to pay and buy use that one

download free version from link below (unlookroot site is not allowing me download, so another link)

works 100% just use as described
well I HV done it. and can use any USB dongle on slide now I living it

I have downloaded the iBall slide Debugging drivers from iBall site & applied update from device manager. Followed all the steps but the device doesn't get detected after connection... Any solution?

are you on windows 7 ?
go to device manager see if the driver is properly installed
pls download the drivers from iball website only
do the steps as told in the order only
if you have installed the unlock root pls uninstall it and the drivers and start from the beganing

Has anyone tried playing hd games like NFS MW , ASPHALT 7 etc on this tab or can this tab play hd games?

you can play hd games on this tab i played nfs mw with a very little noticeable lag

Actually there isn't an app that can root the Lg e400

Hey, it's not true. SuperOneClick 1.7 with RageAgainstTheCage is a program to root L3.
Oh, but CWM must be installed in other way. Download ROM Manager from Google Play and You will know what to do next, because it's easy to do.

Lg l4 2 e440/e445 is one of the best phone under 9000 price range.. And sadly i cant even find a thread about that device in xda.. I have found a thread in xda about rooting lg l4 2 e440..since many of you guys looking for how to root lg l4 2 dual e445...i will post a method.. It doesn't need a pc.. It's just a application and its a Indonesian app... I have successfully rooted my device within 1 minute...
