Has anyone tried porting the S4UI to an mt6589 device like the Blu Life Play, NGM Forward Prime, etc? I've seen it done for similar devices like the Micromax A116, but I have no clue how to go about porting that rom to my device without getting a bootloop or having my device not boot up at all. Can someone steer me in the right direction? I have been searching for days now before i decided to post this question to you guys.
Same here I was tried to Port MicroMax A116 Samsung ROM but failed.... after too many tries it's struck on Samsung Start Animation... may be it's a system/lib prb or boot.img!

Hi, i flashed a custom rom of canvas hd in my noir a600, it installed very well but it could not detect the sim cards and gave invalid imei, i restored the original rom and its working great ....
but there's one prob, i m still getting the logo of s4 for 1-2 secs and after that qmobile and noir logos appear .... can you help me remove this s4 logo at startup

hey devs, I've been searching for available and stable custom ROM for my micromax a88 canvas music since weeks but, unfortunately didn't found enough (maybe 3-4). But y'all know that there are many many custom ROMs available for canvas 2 and that device comes with the similer hardware (except the camera and maybe lil bit more). So my question is if I can flash the ROMs of canvas two in my device ?
if I face some problems then which patches can I use ? Can I use the patch of a ROM which is working fine in my device ? (stupid question I know) but please guys help me out.

I'd also like to know about finding compatible custom roms for the device as I'm new to this. I just cant seem to do it myself; and there aren't enough resources online for this device. It is a mt6577 device (shows up as mobistel cynus t2 in windows). I wanted to post a link for the device , but apparently I'm not allowed to do so as I'm a new member. Looking forward for some help.....

Hey I found a solution...if installed carliv touch recovery 2.2 Based on cwm. Its there in a thread in xda on generating it for mtk devices...thanks anyway !

So i want to start cm devlopment for my canvas doodle 2.....but as iam new to building cm i wanted to know where to begin first i would like sone simple explanation! Please dont redirect me to wiki.cynogen!just for the sake of asking a cynogen mod has been received for a device with similar specs and just with smaller screen for the canvas 4!so can i u just replace the kernal and sone changes. In building.prop and get working with that rom?and can i flash a cwm recovery meant for the clone of My device. I.e wiko darkside?
