Do you mean the "mobile" label? I've never actually seen an option to remove those labels.

Yeah buddy.
Much better without labels.
That's from the same device a few weeks ago before I flashed the new rom.
If you give the number a name in contacts does it help?

Nah that's not the issue. My contacts are tidy as.
Look closely at the screens, you'll see in the second one there is no label at all.
In the first there is a sender label, and the label (me) on my reply.
I have no idea then, sorry.

All good, i dont know where the option to disable was in ICS 1.2.4.
Im pretty certain by default the labels were enabled.
No such luck in ICS 2.4.1
Just flashed JB 3.2.8 and by default theres no labels.
Happy days.

No problem. I think it may be built into a ROM.

Not something I use very often but today my mate and I were comparing the Nexus on ICS to the Samsung Galaxy SII on Gingerbread, and we couldn't find Call Settings anywhere on the Nexus, to set up things like forwarding calls?
I'm running CM9 A18 and hes just got the stock Gingerbread. I remember Call Settings being there in Settings on my stock GB Nexus S, so where's it moved to now?
did you try pressing the menu button?

Maybe you're opening the People app. Call settings are in the Phone app. I think there were more options in the settings menu on gingerbread as opposed to in the phone app.
edit: nvm

I think cause its a diffrent theme, click on your username in the top right corner near your notifications or where you would type to search a device, once you click your user name it will take you to your profile or the about me, then look at the bottom left of your page, there will be a little list you can open, says xda classic, change it to xda 2010 those are the themes
"Click thanks if I've helped you"
Cool thank you. Idk I can't see thanks on my Android, but I will hit it online later.

I guess you figured it out, otherwise how would you have a screenshot of before and after? Do you often take screenshots just in case something is about to happen?

When you enter the Halo> apk in the app drawer, do you have Mail added to the list of apps to have permanent notification? I'm not sure how accurate I'm being with my terminology because I'm not on aosp at the moment. I do remember being able to add apps to a list which gives permanent notification or something though.

Yeah, but that would be different, because it gives you a whole notification not just the little tiny icon.

Today I received my Solar red U11.
Everythings hunky dory, but......... I'm really missing the Sense home widget from HTC 10 which adapted icons on the homescreen depending on my location.
Anyone else of the same opinion?
Any solution to this?
Same here.. Missing it from my m9. Hopefully htc will realise their mistake and fix it later in an update.
Beamed in by telepathy.
