I'd just like to ask the xda community why there are hardly any mods/roms related to the Xperia E. Most of the threads are pertaining to either the tipo, miro, J. Why not E Guys?
Is it because the phone useless or what...

I think that one thread like this has been made 1 month ago! Report it ,so admin will delete thread.
There's no developer man! Phone useless? No it's not. Only reason is,that there's no developers! Remember that! We can't do anything to change this!

Who said theres no dev work on E yet? You people should be thankful that E got placed among Tipo, miro, J, and not someplace else. Even rooting E is hard, with constant updates from Sony. About custom ROMs, you got cm, and dual sim runs fine too! Not like tipo dual, if youre lucky, even one sim works is good.

Does anyone know of any Android Development for the XPERIA Miro on XDA? I know it's a new phone but I'm surprised there is no section on XDA for the actual phone... Appreciate your help/info guys
I agree with you, also think it's strange that there is not but there are many new phones that are not listed on xda. They can not catch everything. But I'm really really excited and want it to be, I miss to flash my phone!

Hi, recently i tried to search cm10 for my xperia tipo dual, but only one sim is detected.
At present cm 10 is only available for tipo single sim.
Did any one installed it?

I tried fxp 202/203 and not even only one single Sim was detected.
So i'm waiting more updates, or some good guy to make it work on tipo dual,

FXP has stated MANY times that they haven't yet ported, nor will soon port CM10 to Tipo Dual, because they do NOT have the phone.
They don't know the exact hardware and software differences, so they cannot port it, it's that easy and there has been hundreds of questions about it and again, they said this like a hundred times.

Well, so far, not for Tipo DUAL, I don't know about other phones, but FXP works with a small amount of Xperia phones. There probably ARE some dual sim phones that DO have CM10, but those are totally different phones.

well there is no official support for any dual sim phone till now from CM, so there is no SOURCE to compile cm for dual sim phones

Sorry buddy...my bootloader is unlocked and so I lost my DRM keys..so gracenote music info will not work...

on c1505 (single sim) it works perfect (rooted with locked bootloader)
still hoping to see a recovery possible on locked bootloaders

Alright guys...my rom is released... It is stock based but I'm sad that people with locked bootloader cannot flash it due to absence of recovery...
I'm planning to port recovery for locked bootloaders by the next month... I need guys to help me...

Today i saw an article on Android Police http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/02/04/sony-announces-end-of-life-and-software-updates-for-the-xperia-s-xperia-ion-xperia-u-and-more/, that says that a lot of Xperia phones will not be updated. So, there are bad news and good news.
The Xperia Tipo and Miro will NOT be updated to Android 4.1/4.2/4.3/4.4, but the Xperia E and the Xperia J will be updated. This means that the Xperia E and J will be updated to Android 4.2.2/4.3/4.4 and we will have probably the new Sony 4.2.2/4.3 UI. Are you happy now?

I think that we will have at least for 4.2.2 , even if now there is the Xperia L (successor of the Xperia J) and the Xperia E1

I didn't know..maybe they will make an update for us just several bug fixes..or if they pity us..maybe they will make an android version update..most people are giving up already and decided to buy a new phone is the best solution for this..

Maybe they will make an update with full Sony 2013 experience and leave our phones with Android 4.1.2
The Xperia J is listed there - won't go past 4.1. The E, however, isn't. There might be hope. Note the might.

I don't think that Sony will release an update for our phones as per the launch of E1 and even if they do give us an update to 4.2 it will be just too show on our devices.

HTC explorer with 600mhz got unofficial 4.3 rom ,htc people don't even care about updates & they even get fully optimized stock rom
Whereas Sony dosent even know they released phones like J,E with crap software ,But when they finally care to update ,its the same version with bug fixing

Well. I'd wait for @UltraGamerHD to finish porting Kitkat. Heard that it's liquid smooth. Let's face it. Xperia E development is going no where actually.
I'll be selling mine off in a few months.. Getting a Moto G seems cool!
