Help on volume! - Sony Xperia L

Hi everyone! I need help on my volume. I delete the system app: Safevolumenotifier.apk (I think that was the name of the app) and now I can't change my volume to higher value (half of the slide-bar). I think the problem is that I delet that app before I press the ok button when I change the volume for higher value. If someone can send me that apk or find any solution for my problem I appriciete it. I don't want to reflash my firmware just because of that.
THX and sorry for my bad english :'(

How do I open system files in text editor running Thai 2.7.1

Anyone know how I can open system/ usr/ keylayout in text editor? Usually just a long press in rw but running ThaiZ 2.7.1 text editor is not in the popup list of options. Tried changing permission but no luck. I really like to be able to reassign the 3D button to wake the phone.

Sorry... my bad. Had a brainfart and skipped a step. Certainly wasn't trying to place blame and apologies if it came off that way. Loving this ROM.

1. I could send you a file taken from stock ROM but you forgot to provide you ROM version
2. you can try to extract it yourself - there's a tool for ROM conversion to format mountable on PC (with e.g. Ext2Fsd & gizmo)
3. I found port of it for non-TW ROMs somewhere on xda - don't remember the link, but try searching for "TW clock"
Hey thanks for taking the time to reply. I am on LQ2 ICS. If you could send file to [email protected] or post here or whatever that would be ace. I will have a look for TW clock as well.

[Q] metamorph bricking

hi
i tried to use metamorph app to install a theme i got from droidpirate website in my xperia miro phone. The phone went hanging for a while and now it is showing xperia as on start up and nothing else.. . i tried to restart the phone. same response. i wasnt able to get into the recovery menu by pressing volume down and all. but cant access it. Good thing is that i used nandroid to do a back up but , i am unable to access it..
can anyone tell me what to do and please i am in a desperate situation. need immediate reply... ?
kindly do telll me how to enter recovery mode in my xperia miro so that i can make sure i am doing it right
Thanks in advance
Mmmmm Ok.. What you got to do is:
Don't try to save your actual system. go and flash your miro with Flashtools using a suitable ftf file (the firmware) for the phone. After flashing it, the phone will be like a new one.. but then, you'll have to ROOT it and install Recovery, I mean CWM... after this, turn of the phone, enter recovery and restore your previous nandroid backup.. make sure that you are using the same Recovery that performed the nandroid, to avoid "md5 checksum mismatch".. Then enjoy!
Thank you so much... I did as you told and managed to restore my phone

You wont believe it but you cant do that from XDA app... you only can do it from a desktop PC or using, for example, Opera Mini or other browser from your phone... :highfive:
Yes you can, well at least in the premium app. Tap the post so it's get highlighted and tap the thumb in the upper right corner.

Permissions for the original bootanimation were the same as what you posted but execute was not checked at all, just the first three and the top one on the second column.
working on Monx's rom just fine.

this happend for me too. gonna try to figure out why. but if anyone has a solution that would be awesome
same problem, any solution? animation is cooooooool
Fixed it
There, works perfect now.
Something to do with how many pictures are in a single folder.
Also, cropped out some of the background, and scaled up the image (maybe lost some quality, but I didn't notice it at all).
Download the attachment or, from here (DevHost link).
@pugazh_boss Could you add a link to this post in the OP?
