This is not true. The phone is amazingly fast! Faster than my motorola photon OCd to 1.3GHz. Camera is awesome and multimedia capabilities are great too. All thats missing is the ability to root it.

I know it is not the same phone but other phones have been hanging for the same reason. You should read through it. Also superoneclick doesn't have a 'force mode'. I think that person was just being plain unhelpful. If you were on gingerbread you could have tried the program gingerbreak but it won't work on 4.0/ Sorry but i cannot solve your problems. I hate it when I let people down. I have no experience with your problem so it is hard to help. No other people want to help so I tried. Try searching your device on XDA. or read through that thread i gave you again.

Looks like I am at the same stage as you now.
The DoomLord thing worked for me.
I know have ICS 4.0.3 with a build date of 2012/06/30 flashed to my phone
Clockworkmod installed with english menu

It is the Sophone V75 with MediaTek MTK6575 processor and 3.5" Retina screen.
It is a copycat 4S and looks identical to the GooPhone Y5.
If it helps anyone, the firmware I got from a Chinese factory had he descriptor of:
MT75 H910 ICS
It is ICS 4.0.3 and claims to be IOS 5.1
I think the CPU is an ARMv7 Rev10
8Mp rear cam and 0.3Mp front cam
960*640 retina screen
512+512 RAM/ROM and a 32Gb Micro SD in mine.

Alas no it did not work.
I tried flashing the REX3 firmware from that link to my Sophone V75 and it did not want to boot after that.
I had to flash the 4.0.3 firmware back on and thankfully it booted

Mine just arrived today and apart from it only having 4GB flash instead of the 8 that was advertised when I ordered it, all looks good.
You might try CPU Identifier to check on the device.

I've not seen the 0403 ROM yet but am running the 0323 ROM. It looks really good, my main issue is that the FM radio is stuck on mono.
Also, to enable EPO GPS assistance you need to enter the engineering menu: *#*#3646633#*#*

Luckily, now I got an Android phone (even though its basic model) and its time to learn about it. So friends please direct me to helpful threads here. From basics of Android to intermediate to advanced to etc etc etc ......... I wish to learn about rooting,ROM backing-up,customization,changing ROM,app development and so on, and you know....
I'm using computers since 6th grade and I'm very friendly with Windows but not Linux. I don't know much about Linux,only basic things,I mean very basics and I heard Android is based on Linux core I think I have to learn about it too. So please help me about it too.
With a few days usage I learned something about it but i also had some issues.
Issue No 1: I can't customize menu and I asked some of my friends who already using Android for a long time about it. they told me the Android I have is basic Google release and it doesn't support customization. I have to install launchers.
No. 2: I Can't properly tether with Windows 8.1 PRO 32 bit.when I thether Windows freezes and Internet is not fast enough. (Its Jio 4G LTE)
No.3: I can't uninstall many useless apps that consumes RAM.
AND MORE ISSUES WILL BE COMING AS I USE IT MORE.

I'm a little afraid to do with Kingroot because one of my friend's Xperia was bricked after he tried to root with that app.
So are you very sure that Kingroot is safe?
And did you find a way to backup your current ROM ? , Because I didn't yet.

Hello Vikrant . Welcome to XDA.
I think you are also a newbie like me.
And yeah, we need to solve the heating problem.
But what I think is first we need to root our device and uninstall all of that useless factory Google apps and some other apps.
And , if still there is problem, then we may have to work on kernel.
But in order to work with kernel , we must have deep knowledge about Android and Linux's core.
And of course we'll learn( in fact,we are already learning).
We'll also help each other.
One question, have you backedup your ROM ? And did you Root your device?
Asking because I haven't done both yet and I'm currently planning to do. But there are some little confusions.

First of all root your device
make backup of stock recovery :laugh:
compile a new twrp recovery (if you need tutorials you can find out many on XDA fourms )
now go to recovery nd take backup of your stock rom

Bro kingroot is safe i did rooting with it. It works :good:

Oh ! Okay. I'm tried. But Kingroot is not working for me. Now I have to find an alternative for it. Do you know any??:

Connect your phone with pc
Take nandroid backup with any android adb tool

If you any coustom recovery installed on your phone
Then just remove ur battery
Insert it again
Now press power + volume down button
This will boot your phone into recovery mode
Where you can restore your phone from your previous backup in external storage

I am not a newbie I have played with my xperia m to every extent.now only for jio I bought this too cheap flame 7

I was successful to root it though kingroot .
Now one of our programmer friend has to build a custom recovery for this device first.custom recovery is first thing prior to anything done to a device.

You need to compile your own custom recovery
Using stock recovery
To take backup of stock recovery
U can use flashify app..

I think now I can Root. Because my phone now have another rom . I got this new rom from official Jio Care . I went there because I bricked my device when tried to flash a recovery found from the internet. I tried this flashing because the 'factory test mode' was gone after I tried to root with king root .it was showing a 'no command' error when I am trying to go to 'factory test mode' I did that flashing only to restore that. But it ended in a bricked device. So I had to go there and they helped me. I also asked them for stock rom but they didn't give me. I didn't check king root yet with this rom.
