when it was in 11.3.A.0.47 had surround sound
after update to 11.3.A.2.13 this firmware dont have surround sound, why?

Due to complaints on sony forum regarding a problem with it, the feature was removed. Luckily i had created backup of all apps and so i gave a try to replace it with old com.sonyericsson.soundenhancement.apk.
steps what i did:
Uninstalled old soundenchancement(backed up first of course)
Installed new soundenchancement
Set it as system app
Restart phone
But it is better not to have it..if u Have it,music will get stuck often,..that's the sickest part...
I recommend using playerpro...it is better than walkman in all respects..looks,sound clarity.bass,surround sound,virtualization etc

Well I use the termin rom and after 2 seconds, there is no sound. When I deleted the SoundEnchacement.apk the walkman works again. I tried to install the original sounenchacement.apk but the same thing happend. Any suggestions?

After installing viper just make sure it has the root access:silly:
1. Open the app, it should ask you to install the drivers automatically.
2. If it does then click on okay and then click on the option 'Cortex A8...' .
3. Reboot your phone and then configure it as per your convenience.
Now If it doesn't ask for driver installation at the beginning then:
1. Just tap the option and then click on install drivers.
2. then click on the option 'Cortex A8...' .
3. Reboot your phone and then configure it as per your convenience.

If you have the original ROM on your phone or computer you can do one of two things;
1) Re-flash the stock ROM onto your phone (bear in mind that this WILL erase all data on your phone so you have to make a backup).
2) Rip the stock keyboard from the ROM and move it to your memory card and install it from there.

I've never heard of the beats audio installer. Can you get that from the play store? If so I will have a look into it for you.
I dont think you can uninstall beats, you will have to flash stock again.

which drivers did u choose my friend whn i install processing is no and enable option in d driver status is no too plz tel me hw u did it and another thing im on locked bootloader i hav root working i can evn mount system to rw another thing did u install d apk in the system folder by chngin permissions or then

I know it's been long time, but if you're still requesting, compress all files that has the word "mixer" and attach it and post it in the link of my signature, the mod I create is unrelated to Viper4Android...
i have xperia tipo (dual) and the touch lags alot ...any way to fix it?

install romtoolbox or find some way to change minmax of the device. set ongoing process reserved memory 100. it will do the job.
or download the xbooster app from store .. put the device in gaming mode.. u r done.
if it works plz.. Thank button wont cost u anything.
the only difference between xbooster and minmax manager is the that u cant configure values in xbooster but u can do so in minmax manger(rom toolbox).
alternate.. install superchager script search xda.

I have one question - is it possible to install AC!D Engine into Xperia J on AVD ROM? I'm asking this, because volume is extremely low. I've tried in stock Walkman, and in PowerAMP - sound is quite better with unchecked MusicFX but still sucks.. it's just like "suppresed", or "crushed" - i don't know how to name it Sound is just not clear, as with AC!D Engine, or older ROMs, like GB(xperia x8). I've tried to install that mod, but nothing works at all. One time phone will stay at "Android is being updated. Apps is going to run", next time system will boot up, but there's no sound(i've tried replacing new with original audio_effects.conf - but it's not working). But I know, that it's possible to install it somehow - CM10 has this mod.
So, if anyone know, how to do it, please reply

From what I know( and tried) Acid engine does not work with Xperia J. I tried it with stock Jelly bean and it did not work.
If low volume is the issue try the " earpiece" app from the playstore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.Earpiece .
Install it, open it up and select " audio trough earpiece" . You will notice a change in the sound level.

But CM10 - for Xperia J - has ACID so there's some possibility of installing this.. but how.. ?

Ok, so tell me please how, and what i'm supposed to install/do xD I've already tried this one, and won't work. I've tried "Stock Xperia Firmware optimised (working too on ICS MIUI)" and "(Android 4.1 and newer) AOSP/CM10/CM10.1/AOKP/P.A.C optimised" full, and light. Now I don't remember, but one gave me no-sound(any), and one brick on loading apps screen.. How did you installed it?

Ah, as to that Earpiece - it's good, sound became more clear, but it's sooo flaaat, even with poweramp EQ :c

I'm not sure because I'm not using it right now on my J with ICS but I like ICS much more because of speed and stability, so you could as well try that.

I dont think we need one.. the bootloader is locked and nothing custom can be made..

i do understand that boot loader is not unlocked but by rooting and installing luck patcher i am able to do so much aside i dont know abc of android still this is what i could do then i think xda prof. developer will surly kick the customization.
till now i have done below things
rooted and installed luck patcher
then from luck pather i have patch android and
updated below apps and all that are working like charm
xperia launcher
xperia clock & clock widget
mini apps from xperia z1
album and walkman player
calc of z1
calander
xperia themes
xperia tools widget
xperia weather widget

thats good... am yet to root mine.. since have not heard of confirm report the root tool.rar in the xda is working fine or not? From where you did..
for customization if you are interested.. you can start some learning of modifying systemUI.apk (in /system/app folder) and framework-res.apk from internet.. ..

i have used V root
its free on internet i am attaching it u can use
make sure its in chines so follow below steps
first enable development mod by pressing build in no 5 to 8 times
and then go to developer option and enable usb debugging mode
now follow below step
download vroot from attachment
install it
open it
connect device and wait if your pc is installing drives
then after getting it complete press green button in software
and set back when all is done you phone will reboot
now the most important part
after this v root will install chines super user ( i found it some where good but continue giving flash of permission grand kind text in root app)
so open store and install chainfire super su and then open it
update binary with normal mode
then to check wether its working the absent of chines super su first go to setting and disable chines super su and check if it works then delete chines super su apk thru any root explorer
rest you know what you need to do

i was out
and now if we talk about updating apps is quit simple
1 root your device
2 install lucky patcher
3 open lucky patcher and hit tool box located at bottom
4 now hit patch to android and select (check) first three opetions. about signature (it will take few sec. or aprox 1 min there after your device will get reboot automatically and TA DA you are done !!!!!
5 now install aptoid and search all your sony app like album walkman just like that there after install them also dont forget o add the store (you will get this step understanding better once you start using aptoid.

Has anyone tried installing Dungeon Hunter 4 from playstore? I can't install it. It says "Your Device Isn't Compatible with This Version". I tried installing a version I got from google and It works fine. I updated a sony xperia c with "sony pc companion" , after that I edited build.prop and changed build_release_version 4.2 to 4.4. and restarted that mobile, and now the handset in position on BOOTLOOP on animation.
what to do??

** after one trick sony pc companion started downloading the update file... i dont khow it will work or not!!
