Hey guys,
I'm attempting to unlock my HTC One X (evita) but I need the IMEI number. The thing is, I've already put in the new SIM card and did a factory reset. The software won't let me do anything unless I enter the SIM network unlock pin. Also, as you may know, I can't physically access the battery compartment to read the IMEI number. The phone is completely rooted, S-off, HBOOT 2.14. Is there a fastboot command that will give me the device ID?
Thanks in advance!

I need to reset network number counter because I buy a AT&T HTC ONE X in ebay but when i need to insert network code it says is wrong. The problem is not the code but the seller is inserted wrong code and the phone is blocked. Is possible to downgrade phone from 4.1.1 in 4.0.4? Or is another method to reset network counter number ?
Thanks in Advance.

what do you mean 'network code' and 'network count number'?

OK - got you now. You can buy phone unlock codes on eBay too.
Maybe some other member here can tell you a reliable seller as I've always had unlocked devices.
I don't think changing roms will help you any.
I have the code but the wrong number is inserted by the seller and the phone is needed to reset network code numbering.

If the phone is rooted you can use the JET tool to downgrade your hboot and then run a 4.0.4 RUU but if you have superCID you will not be able to upgrade to 4.1.1 unless you S-OFF first.
Ofcourse, I have no idea if RUUing to 4.0.4 will help your situation but that would be the method to do so.
If you do not have root, you can use the 3.18 root method and then S-OFF and then RUU to 4.0.4
Edit: So I have managed to return to stock 3.17 Telus RUU relocked and S-ON. Now I will find the fastest way to unlock and SuperCID and then update here.
i have two different imei's from the terminal and *#06#. anyone know why is that?
was trying to unlock the phone using the sim unlock free, but wouldn't let me, maybe because of having 2 imei's.

Boot phone into fastboot mode. Connect to pc. Open CMD. Type "fastboot getvar all" . The right IMEI will be shown up. BTW if you're S-OFF you can rewrite the IMEI if you facing any troubles. "Rewrite" does not mean "CHANGE" as changing the phone's IMEI is NOT LEGAL.
Hey guys,
It has been a long time since I have done everything with my AT&T One X and I am having some trouble. I want to carrier unlock my phone so I can use it when I travel to Israel in 2 weeks. I got the code from AT&T through their website. I am running CM-NostromoPop v2.0.4.
The directions I received from AT&T are:
1. Power off the device and remove the AT&T SIM card.
2. Insert non-AT&T SIM card.
3. Power on the device. Wait a few moments, allowing the device to fully power-up.
4. Enter the unlock code when prompted.
5. Press OK. The device is unlocked.
The only microSIM I have is a Verizon SIM I use in my Verizon tablet. It is active on a Verizon account. I put that SIM in and turned on the phone, it popped up asking for the code, I type the code in correctly and press Unlock (it doesn't say OK) and it says "unlock unsuccessful" and waits for me to put the code in again. Has anyone run into the problem? Is the problem more likely to be CyanogeMod of the SIM card? I am currently installing ViperXL on my phone to see if a stock ROM would work better but I only have 2 tries left until my phone is permanently locked to the AT&T network.
I called AT&T and they said factory reset the phone or bring it into an AT&T store. I can't do either of those without flashing back to stock and I cannot figure out how to do that. Can someone explain to me or link me to a post on how to flash back to complete stock (the latest stock version preferrably, I probably won't be rooting my phone or anything anymore)
Some info about my phone:
I am S-OFF
CID is 11111111
HBOOT is 2.15
Radio is 1.31a.32.45.16_2
Recovery is TWRP 2.8.7.1
Thank you very much in advance
I'm having trouble unlocking HTC one mini m4. I bought the phone, it was supposed to be unlocked, but I put in Croatian BonBon Sim card (T-Mobile) and it asks for code. Didn't feel like playing with it so I ordered the code from sim-unlock.net. When I type in Code it says incorrect password. Ordered from unlockcode247 , the've sent me same code ,and same thing happened. Later I found out that Eastern Europe HTC's won't unlock with online codes. When I put Croatian VIP sim (vodafone) it works , so it's obviously locked to VIP. CID is HTC_032 Eastern Europe.

I unlocked bootloader, rooted, stock 4.4.2 , had trouble with S-OFF but finally made it, custom kernel, SuperCID . Tried and it's he same.
I tried to do it through fastboot and simlock, I have config.dat but since one mini doesn' have sd card I get SD init failed error. I don't have Y OTG cable and can't get any soon, but even with cable I'm skeptical that method would work since unlock code doesn't. Still, is there any way to emulate sd on internal storage? Or anything to avoid using Y OTG?
Or is there another way, like flashing different radio/baseband/modem? If so could anyone provide radio.img from unlocked phone so I can try. I can't find radios anywhere. Thanks.
Thanks
Now tried to flash new radio from other OTA, but it failed through fastboot. Look's like rumrunner S-OFF is not ENG but RV which can't flash radio.. Great.. Any way to flash new radio? Thanks.
As always, figured it out myself. If there is enough interest I will write full procedure.
Did it through fastboot simlock and config.dat.
Used IDE/Sata to usb converter and old hard drive. Gave power to usb through external source, connected to phone and , booted into bootloader , and choose simlock. It said everything failed imei , cid etc but when I booted with other simcard, the phone is unlocked.

Hey guys,
I have a situation with my HTC 10. I have unlocked bootloader, and S-off via sunshine and installed Viper10. I recently purchased network unlock codes from HTCUnlockingservice.com but it wouldn't work when I restarted the phone with Verizon sim, so I had to go back to stock T-Mobile RUU. But I have the same problem, when I insert a foreign sim it doesn't promp me to enter unlock codes, instead I have a sim-lock icon in my status bar. The TMobile Device unlock App doesn't work either (it used to say incompatible with Viper10, now it says "failure in processing request. please reboot device and try again").
Can someone help me find a way around it ??
Is there a *# sequence to prompt unlock code entry ?? something like the *#06# is ed for IMEI...
Please help, going crazy over here
thanks
