I want to solve the problem but don't know how.
Think that i need the stock boot.img for the S3 version..please help..
You need to flash TrickDroid 1.0.0, not 8.0.0.

Instead of pressing just the power button, use power button + volume DOWN to go into bootloader. Then select recovery, then flash a new ROM.

No. When in recovery, you can mount your SD card to your computer. Connect it to your computer via USB, then go to Mounts and Storage, then mount SD. Then transfer your downloaded ROM (in this case TD 1.0.0, NOT 8.0.0), wipe EVERYTHING (system, data, cache, dalvik), then flash the ROM.

I flashed superwipe then flashed ROM then did "reboot now"
Its been 20 mins still stuck at HTC boot screen.
Please tell me what to do
take out the battery reinsert it and just turn it on, don't go to recovery, if again stuck on boot screen, try flashing again both things, but AFTER superwipe, wipe sd ext manually, AFTER flashing the rom, do factory reset. If this doesn't help choose another rom. Also same thing may appear if your sd isn't partitioned corectly, how did you did it?

i havent partitioned my sd card. Its fat 32
I am also a noob
jaydenmonckton- No it won't wipe the rom, it maybe will just rearange some files, about superwipe, it sometimes gives error about sd-ext which users almost never see, my advice was to do it anyway cos it won't do any harm.
praveenbusy- Exactly from that you have errors, every rom which has preconfigured some kind of script requires sd-ext partition, which is almost every 2.3.5 except stock ones. I say almost, because jaggy's 2.7 and earlyer builds, a2sd gives some errors and after that rom is usable, I think Ateeq's also was working but I'm not sure about it . Definetely it's better to repartition your sd with ext partition.
I once tried to make a clean backup of my stock rom....so i wipe data / factory reseted and then backuped !! But i coundnt restore that nandroid, always get in a bootloop !

whenever i try to do partition with Minitool its gives me Error code :16
dont know whats the problem
My is a 4gb card i use a memorycard reader .I tried doing ext4 partition of 1 gb with no luck.
Do it from recovery, you just have to keep in mind that your WHOLE sd will be erased, so if you have something important on it, move it.
jaydenmonckton- did you turn on the phone after factory reset, because if you didn't it's normal to give you bootloop now, I don't have any ideas why it's doing this, it shouldn't, if you say exactly(step by step, everithing) how did you make the backup..... then it's possible to figure out what's wrong, if you are interested thou.
I have strange problem, I am able to flash all roms , but every Rom is stuck on bootanimation, or if any boots it is very laggy and didn't boot on next reboot. I tried nand recovery procedure by cute prince, did factory reset but the problem still exists. I m able to access bootloader nd recovery. And one more interesting thing, only one Rom works properly that is sense 5 ex b5. (I was using this Rom for 2 weeks). And now I inserted old 2gb card nd in this jaggyrom worked ,(this didn't worked when I was on previous rom)

none of the rom was booting so considered it as nand burnt and i recoverd by this process :

If you can boot a sense custom rom, you can boot any rom. Did you do full wipe before flashing roms?

I have been reading for the last couple weeks, thinking I have an answer and end up further into the hole.
Rogers HTC One X / EVITA / HBOOT 2.14. / 2.4 TWRP initially, now 2.6 / Unlocked boot loader / s-on
1. Started trying to flash AOKP 4.2.2. Flashed boot.img, then followed with TWRP recovery. All I could get was the language screen and then it stalled. Tried numerous iterations of this with various wipes and flash first and flash after.
2. Next tried Viper 3.2.7. All good till it gets to startup screen then it stops (I understand Viper has its boot.img installed to start not needing it flashed).
3. While trying various wipes to see if it would install completely I mistakenly did a factory reset! Now no OS! No Nandroid! No ROM.zip!
4. To get a ROM on SDCard tried ADB sideload thru TWRP. after running script it says unable to mount SDCARD! Suggests I reboot system! Now a little leery of rebooting for fear it will not.
5. Also tried to MOUNT HTV via TWRP on to laptop. Did not recognize said ti initialize. Formatted FAT 32 (via MAC). Now will not mount SD Card. I did drop Viper.zip into mount (cache and system OK) but can not find it using FILE MANAGER via TWRP
6. Now am in BOOTLOADER screen of Android. Thought I could flash a ROM but from what I read it does not look possible.
Can any one point me in the right direction to get this thing up and running. At this point, as much as I am learning all the time, it does me no good having my phone down for two weeks (sure glad I kept my Nexus One).
Any answer at this stage is a good answer and I appreciate all input!
Thanks
D
Sounds like you did a factory reset in bootloader which corrupts the sd card after unlocking the bootloader. You used to be able to just mount it on pc and format it but after the jb update I don't think that's possible due to the drive no longer being a mass storage device but an mtp device instead. There was a method to fix it developed by team nocturnal but it looks like the site is inaccessible right now. I'll see if there's a way to fix it and get back to you. Bear with me.
[/COLOR]By any chance have you tried wiping sd card in twrp 2.6?
Also, have done SuperCID yet?

SuperCID has not been done. It is S-ON presently.
I wiped SD Card as suggested. Saw it set up partitions. And now TWRP shows up when I mount . Can I just drop a ROM in and flash via TWRP? Any suggestions for a ROM. Could not get AOKP 4.2.2 to run or Viper 3.2.7.
Thanks for the quick assist at getting it to MOUNT.
Flash a stock sense rom and then fastboot flash boot boot.img extracted from the rom. Then use jet to downgrade hboot and SuperCID and then s-off. It'll save you lots of headaches.

It all sounds simple when you say it.
I will find a stock sense ROM to install then follow with boot.img.
Is it necessary to wipe anything more then Dalvik and Cache?
Thanks again.

In twrp 2.6 the factory reset wipes everything except sd card and system. You don't have to wipe system but I always do when I'm flashing a new rom.

HY, the bootloop means that you are stucked at the boot sequence. This might be because you flashed the boot.img wrong/or you never wiped dalvik, cache ,etc.I suggest that you should wipe cache, dalvik, and factory reset 3 times before flasing the rom(it might not work entirely well the first 2 times) also, try to flash the boot.img correctly, and wait a few minutes (let it boot),you will now you are in bootloop after 15 minutes or so.
I did try that no help and after flashing stock rom now phone works just my internal memory is full only 17mb free so cant use almost any app cant wipe it what so ever even tried factory reset but no help

have you tried logcat to see what's causing the bootloop ?
I have an htc chacha, with the same memory problem as yours, but I managed to mount the /data folder on the sdcard's 2nd partition, and now I have 4 gb internal memory. I can have more if I change the partitions size, but I don't need more.

Are you familiar with linux ? I did all the process in linux because it's much more friendly in these cases. You will need kitchen tool, kernel kitchen, boot.img editing, and of course, cwm recovery it's a must. My phone succesfully booted when I used a class 10 sandisk sdcard.

1. Copy FlyROM zip file to sd-card.
2. Reboot into Recovery.
3. Wipe Data/Factory reset.
4. Install zip from sd card and select the zip file and then select yes to Flash.
5. Reboot after installation completes.
6. Now Apply Patch 3 for Flyrom
what could be wrong in this ????
1. Copy FlyROM zip file to sd-card.
2. Reboot into Recovery.
3. Wipe Data/Factory reset.
4. Wipe Cache Partition.
5. Wipe Dalvick cache.
6. Install zip from sd card and select the zip file and then select yes to Flash.
7. Wipe Cache Partition.
8. Wipe Dalvick cache.
9. Reboot.
could it possibly be because you forgot to clear cache or do a factory reset?
