Just wondering if there was any successful methods of rooting the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere 2. I have looked at some of the forums regarding rooting the phone but none of them was able to root the phone for me. So if someone can post a working rooting method i would appreciate it, also does anyone know if there are any custom ROM's for the phone and if so could you point me in the right direction.

I recently bought this phone as Verizon no contract phone. I liked the fact I could get a 128 gb microsd and I figured it would be pretty easy to root. Boy was I wrong. I have tried towelroot, kingo root,super root and I am currently trying Root Genius. I f I had known it would be this hard to root I would have bought another phone.

I know that TowelRoot will only work on some devices with older firmware/kernel versions.
