Free hosting for PPC developers!

Hello-
I'm not exactly sure if this is the right subforum, but I'm excited to let everyone know about a little project I've been working on for the past few days.
It's always bugged me that all the awesome developers on here and ppcgeeks.com have to struggle to with 3rd party services (e.g. rapidshare) to distribute their creations. I've been toying with the notion of some sort of free hosting for a while now, and have finally gone ahead with it.
There are no catches, this isn't a scam, nor is this spam. It's fully featured web hosting. However it is to be used for mobile development only...don't go using it to share your vacation photos! Also, I have no plans to put ads on user sites providing at least a few people throw some bucks towards the server.
Depending upon demand, the packages may change, but for now it's 1 GB storage/50 GB monthly bandwidth and pretty much unlimited everything else (email, MySQL databases, etc).
Read more about it and sign up here: www.pocketdevelopers.com
Enjoy!

They now offer FREE storage for all that sign up to either a free or paid plan.

A free CDN for developers to distrubute their work

I have the support of a major enterprise CDN company to help open source projects and developers with free unlimited CDN hosting.
A few questions would help me figure out how to start.
Do you have issues with distributing your work at the moment?
Would you be interested to use a CDN to distribute your work? (roms/mods/themes..)
What is the average filesize of the files you plan to host?
What is the total amount of storage you would need?
How much traffic can you generate in a month?
What would be your preferred method of upload? (ftp/rsync/web)
What other features you would like to see?
The only thing needed from you would be to put a few links somewhere, mention the project or even add a banner.
Tell me your thoughts on this.
Thanks

[Q] Why doesn't Google have an affiliate program for the Android market?

Apple's iTunes affiliate program provides an incentive for bloggers, media outlets, other website owners and individuals to push traffic to iTunes and increase app/song purchases.
It seems as though an affiliate program for Android would serve Google in a number of ways including
1) more app purchases where Google keeps a revenue split
2) increased traffic to Google Checkout
3) solidify Google's Android market as the central place for apps vs. other upstart 3rd party markets
4) generate AdWords spend and
5) increased traffic to the Android market that could lead to better apps and a better overall Android experience relative to the iPhone.

Since the person posting affiliate links, reaps some kind of benefit (typically a % of the sale), affiliate links are against xda rules on making commercial posts. If google started an affiliate program and it wasn't easy to recognize the affiliate links from non-affiliate links to the play store, then probably all links to the play store would have to be removed from xda...
