Data Usage Calculator
Information
Data Usage Calculator is still in beta testing, and I could really use your feedback to make it better!
Data Usage Calculator allows you to easily check your data usage, based on the current date and your internet's reset date. This app comes in handy for metered internet connections, such as smartphones and hotspots.
The results window shows you:
1. The proportional amount of usage used based on the current date and reset date
2. The remaining data usage based on the current date
3. The remaining date usage for the entire month
Steps to use:
1. Enter monthly data usage (the maximum amount that your internet service provider allows you)
2. Enter your current data usage
3. Set the date that your internet service provider resets your current usage (usually the date of your billing cycle)
4. Click Calculate!
This app is a free, but has a PRO version as well. More info can be found inside the app.

Future
This space is saved for the future
Hi everyone,
I hope that this question is out of place and that someone here can provide an answer!
In the past week, my cell data usage and/or wifi usage has gone through the roof and it's all coming from Android OS. I have not rooted the phone, so it's the stock kernel. I am currently on OS 4.0.2.
I have included several screen caps showing the amount of data being transferred. I have checked all the other apps and they are showing a very average amount of data transfer. Android OS is consuming the vast majority of it!
Does anyone here have a clue as to what could be the culprit?
Thanks,
RMFlagg

Under accounts and sync do you have background data and auto-sync checked on? If yes that could be the problem because i think that counts as an android system procces.
Everything is set to sync, the problem is that services like GMail, Google +, Currents, Reader and the like all have their own catagories. They show fairly normal data usage, but Android OS was consuming at an alarming rate!(I have since had to turn off mobile data)

[APP][Internet Period Widget] Application That Decrease Mobile Data & Battery Usage
Hi to everyone,
We have developed an application(widget) for decrease and optimize data, battery usage rate.By this application, mobile data can turn on and turn off periodically by desired time(when you are sleeping or do not use often etc.).
Thus, you control other applications data usage like updates, notifications by turn off mobile data during long time and turn on during a little time.
Also, when you do not use your phone often , controling mobile data running time causes to reduce battery dissipation.
This application designed as a widget for easily using.Just;
Set mobile data turn on and turn off time as you desired,
Push start button on widget.
If you try it and feed back your opinions I'd be happy.
