[MetroPCS] flash rip-off

<<PLEASE NOTE>>​ I am NOT endorsing this company.​I just saw this ridiculousness on another forum (where I reported it as SPAM) and wanted to pass it on. These prices are outrageously high (Ex: $100 to flash a VZ iPhone4 and of course no data/mms) and I'm hoping other people who are trying to flash over to Metro aren't getting duped by these types of companies:
Below is a link (sorry if you have to cut and paste it) to phones they have in their inventory. they are already flashed to MetroPCS and are for sale (for waaay too much money)>> Go ahead and click the "FLASH" tab towards the top of the screen to see their prices for flashing a phone over to Metro

Also, I hope this sort of posting doesn't violate forum rules. I'm really just trying to help others who don't know any better.

I can understand why you would make that assumption. However, as you are aware, in the past 4 or 5 years, a few things have changed:
1) the number of Android users has greatly increased
2) the number of MetroPCS users has greatly increased and, along with that, the number of novice users wanting to flash high-end devices onto the mpcs network
3) XDA has gained many new/novice members (of which I am one)
4) doing a simple google search for "flashing X-phone to metropcs" will yield a number of XDA threads (netscape navigator used to provide a free search engine, but i haven't used it in many years)
For those reasons, I felt it was appropriate to post the thread. If a mod finds this thread unacceptable/simple/useless/etc.. I will surely understand if they decide to delete/lock it. No hard feelings.

but I want to purchase it to support the
developer of this awesome app.

I have always made purchases from the phone. The web purchase and install of apps has never worked right for me. Have you tried from your actual phone?

I am not about to sit here and write to them about this crap. They should have phone support for this. They choose to make a market / store / whatever .... that has customers buying crap.... they SHOULD also have phone support...

All depends on the context - not everybody knows (or cares) about everything.

Noobs are good. That just means interest and the community is growing. One day those noobs might develop some amazing ROMs and apps.

To be fair, a lot of XDA may or may not be devs themselves. A lot of users just know that following the smart guys instructions in the pinned topic makes their device work better. Never be surprised by how astoundingly dumb people can be

I guess that you are sh1t out of luck then. If you have visited the TapaTalk site then you would know it is only a mobile phone app for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry - with a notification-only service also available for the Chrome browser.
Seriously - WTF do you expect XDA to do? Rewrite the entire TapaTalk code just so you can run it on a PC? That's what your web browser is for

I have to developing a plugin "multi-channel-extension" for forum.
The idea is : the user write some comment or question to the forum , then the forum will pass it to the company's software ,
then it will be processed by the software , finally the software will return an answer to the forum which will appear at the user side.
I thought this program can help me. But if this app is only for mobile phone, I guess I can't use Tapatalk-API

EXACTLY I know,It should be a PHONE CALL APP for making CALLS and RECORD with speaker ,so you can get this themed PHONE PAD from any IOS phone STYLE APK PAD ,HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU :good: I am just saying bcz your posted PIC HAVE NO CLARITY
