I have just installed CanGalaxy S4 rom by dev AkashRt ,ROM is awesome but when I connect my usb drive in it otg stogare function not working in it, please help or suggest what to do .

yes usb otg helper is a nice app... at 1st i didn't knw hw it works.. bcz i ws nt getting the file directly... after it gets mount... goto ur sdcard... dn there will b a file "usb otg helper" or smthing like dt.. find it.. dn dr u will find ur pendrive nd card reader...:highfive:

So guys i read somewhere before that USB OTG cable only works with android 3.x and aboove because they contain necessary kernals needed to make USB work.......maybe that was the reason USB OTG wasnt working on stock rom........
has anyone tried OTG cable on CM10/10.1..??...maybe that might work.....
plz someone tell me if it works on our phone or not....i really want to connect external storages to my ace plus

there is no otg support in our hardeware
may be in future some other dev can do this but right now there is no way to get otg support
I want build my own OTG hidden and attached to a case, but I don't known how can move the data aplication to an usb and run the games or apps? Exist something like link2sd or app2sd for USB???
How you are going to charge the device when all the time there is an OTG device attached ?

Y USB cable?
??? give me a hint. To charge it, You will need to unmount the ext drive (disconnect usb device) and plug in the usb charging cable.

otg issues
Hei,
OTG cable is working fine however whenever I plugged the usb,
it detects "safe to remove external USB".
The pendrive was working fine with the phone. Problems started soon after I pull out the cable unexpectedly

Have you tried to do a fomat of the pen drive or some other pen drives?

This is how it works!
I formatted the pendrive on fat32 format. Previously i was using ntfs.(might be the windows installation change the format)
Now otg works with no issues.

Ya ntfs will not work on any portable device...

i hv rooted unite 2 and i installed otg helper. but when i connect otg cable with phon then i mount in otg helper it show "no drives found" i also check it in Es file explorer but didn't receive otg. and notification bar showing"checking for errors" plzz give me solution. i hv kitkat version:crying:

I am again facing otg problem. I have connected only one time by otg and now it's showing damage external usb storage when i connect otg with my unite 2. Now i hv already patched. Zip file by sudeep frm xda... But still not working. Please help me what i do?
