Do you mean the boot animation? You can it's easy.. Search the g2x themes forums for the honeycomb boot animation thread that's what I have

I already know you can change the boot animation. I'm talking about the LG Logo when you turn on the phone.

Yes it's doable, but it involves "decompiling" the boot.img file, changing a file inside it (the boot image), and then "recompiling" the boot.img file.

i.e. get here and press bootanimation tab you have previews for these animations
more than that you have to upload your framework file(s) and get a themed-one just follow steps there !
ok here is my splash and boot animation, from my sgs2 converted to the gs3. I dont like the quality of the boot animation so if anyone can do HD let me know!

Did you put it in /system/media/ and change permissions to rw-r-r. the boot animation is not flashable.. you have to copy it over.
