odin to 2.3.6 with OPTION C > cleared samsung screen > asked to input password....
- after 3 attempts, it said another attempt would result in the SD card being trashed...

I installed CWM on my Mele A1000 and I was able to reboot into recovery mode using adb.
At which point I got the CWM menu where I was able to install files from SD, wipe cache etc...
After installing all the files (Cyanogen) I rebooted, now when the device starts all I see is the
Cyanogen splash screen for a few minutes and then a message indicating:
Encryption Unsuccessful. Encryption was interrupted and can't complete. As a result the data on your tablet is no longer accessible.
To resume using your tablet, you must perform a factory reset. When you set up your tablet after the reset ....
This message looks like it's part of the standard Android system.
Since CWM is installed I should be able to access it in order to install something else,
but I cannot figure out how to reboot in recovery/cwm mode. There is no hardware button other than the power button on the Mele A100
I found an image for a 'rescue system' here: forum.doozan.com/read.php?6,9396,9396#msg-9396
Which boots a version of Linux and allows me to mount the internal storage of the Mele,
but I still have no idea how to force it to boot in to CWM Recovery.
If I could boot in CWM recovery I could restart the entire process and try again.
My tablet is p3113, and has dualbooting. (rooted in both roms). I was using the first rom, and used custom locale to change my location, but i accidently pressed antartica, then a bunch of errors showed up (like "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped working" "Unfortunately, System Preferences has stopped working" and "Unfortunately, android.process.acore has stopped working" (there were tons more)). Then, my tablet froze, so i forced it to shut down. I rebooted my tablet and tried to boot into the first rom, but it stuck in the samsung logo( the logo showes up, and disappears, and showes up... keeps doing that over and over again), and my second rom works perfectly. How do I fix my first rom( I really don't want to factory reset).
Things I have done:
1. reboot
2. wipe dalvik cache
3. format /cache
only one way flash latest stock rom and second rom once again
Most ROMs will allow you to dirty flash. Just flash that ROM over and all should be fine and you will lose nothing.
Calvin cache and cache won't solve your problem nor reflashing
U gotta wipe data and the other thing
Sent from my GT-P3100
i think you have to into the download mode and use odin to flash a stock firmware
I rooted my Verizon Galaxy S6 via ping-pong root. Then downloaded flashify followed by the Revolution Rom. Flashed the revolution rom! All is still well...
I then went into Titanium backup in hopes to restore my messages/etc so I did restore "all apps with data", but only selected data. Once it finished, it told me to reboot, to which I now face a never-ending text box of "unfortunately, system ui has stopped"....
I'm now in Odin mode (?) with a teal-ish screen which says "downloading... do not turn off target" for the past 10 minutes and none of the buttons are working...
somehow got myself to the android system recovery page...
as of right now my options are to:
reboot system now
apply update from ABD
apply update from external storage
apply update from cache wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition reboot to bootloader
power down
view recovery logs
Next steps?

Either reboot and enter Odin mode again or try apply update from cache wipe data/factory reset.
Wifi turning on...stuck => boot loop => Kies to restore firmware => boot loop =>
Hello friends, I have Samsung Galaxy Core GT-I8262, it WAS having android 4.1.2 and was working awesome for me. One fine day I saw wifi not working, I tried disconnect and then connect and it was stuck to "...turning on...", I restarted the phone and it went into restart loop....
after several attempts
I went to google and found that I can restore firmware, download kies, upgraded firmware successfully, and phone restarted -
select language => some sim card message => wifi turning on => I clicked skip but phone got restarted and then again same loop
I have also tried wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and try to restore firmware, same thing no luck...
now I downloaded a custom ROM (somebody suggested a lollipop on internet), I have it in sd card, but when I go to recovery mode, and select "apply update from sd card" but I get error saying "E: unknown volume for path [/sdcard]
I don't know how to root or unroot my phone as currently it's not booting up
that's all my story, and I need help in setting up my phone again thanks for you suggestions and help...
