The kernel for e300k is also working well. Using ROW.. very nice addition. Have not played with voltages yet. Looking forward to getting some extra time out of the battery.

I have played a little with voltage settings. Reduce mpu by 50. So far stable but no improvement in battery life. Will drain the battery and nd charge it full. Then I will test again

My highest processor times are 250 & 600 which I've lowered by 25.
What are you using to adjust the voltages? Does it have settings for both big and little? I'm using System Tuner Pro and I have also tried setCPU. Neither have separate settings for the two clusters.
I'm going to suggest stweaks to the developer although it looks from his git commits he is using Perseus or Adam as a road map so maybe he has it on his to do list.

Tried the new kernel with the tethering test. The problem that it is having is that it is not calling on IWConfig or IW to watch the WiFi and create an ad-hoc. Other than that, the kernel is great bro. To me it actually runs better than DiaDust's main version. Keep up the great work.
Someone should also start working on E300L/S variants..
I have tried KoXDA ROM on my 300S. Works good
If somebody wants to - I puted it to FF because is difficult to download it from Korean pages.

Nice to see some real development work, not just a quick abandonware kitchen job like some other 'roms' we've seen lately...
If you could list the major differences between our stock P500 rom and the Optimus Net rom you have developed in the first post (you probably already plan to anyway) that would be great and probably save a bunch of questions later (probably not with some...)

Here is the MTD version of CM7.2 Alpha9 !
As usual, you flash it at your own risk.
This ROM was compiled today with some changes in the CM sources : it includes some cherry-picks to solve the Issue 115 ? Unfortunately, I didn't have time to test if it's fixed.
See : http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/26204/ and http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/26205/
How to flash
- You need to run CM7.2 Alpha9 and the original CM7 kernel!
- Reboot in recovery mode
- Make a backup of your current ROM. Warning, you will need to flash back CM7.2 Alpha9 BML via ODIN to be able to restore your backup. For now, it's not possible to restore BML backups on MTD kernel and vice-versa.
- Flash the CWM update package
= Your phone will reboot and start in recovery mode by itself. Then, the installation procedure will continue =
Notes :
- Your original efs partition will be copied in a new mtd/yaffs2 partition. The original partition is not mounted for safety.
- Your modem will be copied in the new efs partition
- The text color of the mtd recovery is green (it's blue in the BML recovery)
- Gapps are not included
- You need 500MB free on your sdcard
The CWM package includes a new kernel running at 800Mhz (with standard 667Mhz voltages), battery friendly and the charging speed is normal.
Bluetooth can be run with wifi (bugs in Alpha9 BML)
Known bugs
- Do not use undervolting, it need to be fixed
Important
If you want to go back to a standard ROM - with BML/FSR/STL's samsung drivers, always flash via ODIN.
Download

Kernels (flash with ODIN)

Kernel sources

Glad to see the MTD version.
great job.
And finally an update in G3 forum which seems to be closing these days without you.
Amazing! Downloading it now!
Thanks again!
Edit: I think it can be out of Alpha and it is the best one for daily use!

Sent from my GT-S7500 using xda app-developers app
Hello Guys, I would like to present you my first SGY kernel which I have compiled from source. This is only for Stock or Stock based ROMs.
Features :
1) Loads of governors like userspace, ondemand, powerspace, conservative etc. so that users will not get biased towards only one configuration
2) I/O schedulers like noop and cfq with cfq as a default scheduler
3) Max frquency 832 Mhz and min frequency 312 which I found the best in terms of battery and performance because Overclocking decreases the life of Phone.
I am currently lookoing forward to add Extra I/O Schedulers although cfq is best out there with Conservative governors in my opinion. CPU underclocking will be in my roadmap as well. I hope you guys will appreciate me.
Steps for Installing/Flashing :
1) First reboot into recovery and flash any CWM recovery(Note: don't flash it through stock recovery directly)
2) Go to mounts/Storage and mount everything system,cache,sd-card
3) Now flash the Zip I have provided
4) Now Wipe cache partition from Main menu
5) from Advanced option-> wipe dalvik cache and reboot
I have tested it myself. Please report in case you guys run into any issues.

I will add amarullz a2Sd support and integrated CWM recovery very soon. I still need to check why deep sleep isn't working. Thanks for feedback.

Hello,
According to XDA Rule on GPL and Apache Compilence
For kernel developers: You must provide FULL source code, not just the edits you made (reference here). Your source code must also be up-to-date with any binary releases. If in doubt, update your github first, then release the binary, NOT the other way round.

the stuff you have provided on your github is only the kernel.
You have to upload the whole source code you've used while compiling this kernel.Do it ASAP if you didnt knew it.Or your thread will be closed soon.
Take this as a suggestion :good:
Regards.

Thanks for your suggestion brother. This is my first contribution, that's why i wasn't aware of it. Do you mean the Samsung open source update which i have used to compile it ?
can you guide me how exactly i need to update it ?
deep sleep is present in stock kernel too.
only states files is not enabled/present.
if cpu spy is displaying freq. usage and deepsleep is notshowing up then there is some problem.
else by default its enabled in stock kernel.

Thanks, I will upload it on my github in the evening.
Well anybody tried compiling the kernel on Ubuntu 14.04? Gonna try it today! xD

check again.
its says- states file not found.
kernel is not compatible with that app cz freq. states file is disabled by default.
but deepsleep is enabled in kernel.
also the kernel u build is having old source.
latest kernel from samsung in update like dxmj is best n having many changes.
just add init.d support in it and compare the battry life with ur kernel.
and that stock one is far more stable than urs.
no offense
but untill and unless u add some more features in it, stock kernel will still be my preferred choice.
add more featrs into it to make it better than stock one.

You serious?
That's good.Gonna try soon!
Good one... :good:
the problem is it seems to have update2 source.... :-/
can run newer firmwares (ddmd, dxmj, etc).
Looking forward to this one. Please use update3 in the next one. Best of luck
P.S. As @Nitzz Said, Deep sleep is pre-included. if u have used the defconfig command, it is included in the kernel. try adding cpu_stats file...

u can ask anyone of us(senior membrs of sgy section) or anyother kernel dev for help or any doubt if u want.
Kernel Manager
Kernel Manager is a simple App which downloads kernels for your device!
Downloaded kernels can easily installed with the app (through a custom recovery).
You can backup and restore kernels as well
Nothing more to say.
If your device is not supported ask your kernel dev to add support for the app

As there is only the stock kernel for the Sony ROMs and only one custom kernel for custom ROMs (other than those in their respective ROM) there is little need for ZU support

I say again:
ASK YOUR KERNEL DEVELOPER!
Nice app you've done there.
Gonna add the Xperia Z2 and my Custom Kernel if it is ok
Altough, do you think it is possible to add a selfupdating part there so that if I update my kernel you don't need to update the app again ? Cause else I think once there are more devs using this app it will be a update mess.
Edit: Never mind, I did not saw that the file gets called from my sources so I need to update it.
Oh and as I want to keep track of everything: Maybe a download counter ?
EDIT2: https://github.com/Grarak/KernelManager/pull/2 All right there we go.
please if it is possible to add the jflte device I9505 I337M I9500 thanks

Merged
I don't think it would be possible to add a counter (don't know where I should store the data)

It will be interesting if you could include the kernels available to OnePlus One.
Is the I9300 supported?

What about settings up a free FTP server on a service like 000webhost where you have MySQL and PHP and then store everything there ?

Ignorance at it's highest. Read the damned OP !
By checking the wiki link you would see that only 4 devices are supported ATM. Which are neither the OPO nor the i9300.

But I would rather upload the files on a server which counts the download count like basketbuild

Well I have my files on androidfilehost and basketbuild looks to be kinda the same. The problem about this is that I think you can't add direct links to the files so your app would struggle. (At least It's like this on androidfilehost, Correct me if I'm wrong about basketbuild)

basketbuild.com supports direct download links
like https://s.basketbuild.com/uploads/devs/Grarak/recovery.img
This app is nice and all but to few devices are supported. When I tried it it said my NOTE 2 (t0ltespr) is not supported. I look forward to being able to use it as I am sure many more are when and if many more devices get supported by it. The idea is a great one though.
I reuploaded Kernel Manager in Play Store because I lost the signing key....
new link is in the OP
it might take a few hours until the new one is up
please uninstall the old one!
Hi. I don't have a "kernel developer". I'm just an average user who wants an overclock able kernel for his SGH-M819N (Samsung Galaxy Mega on MetroPCS). I read the Tutorial for this app, but I have no idea about "editing JSONS", but I have rooted and replaced kernels many times. But how else can I get support for my device added? Looking all around, I can't find any kernels. Not even ones I can install thru "manual" means. What should I do?
