I THINK it can be unlocked, have you tried putting a different SIM card in and seeing what it says?

I'm honestly not too sure now. Where it says "[o] Network 5" it is meant to say "[x] Network n" where n is an integer.
If I were you I'd either take it into an unlocking shop if you have one near you or contacting this site.

Try following this guys advise http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/regional-lock-t3110340 if that does not work then you will have to somehow obtain a UK sim card.
What country are you from btw?

If you have no luck with Samsung I might be able to help as I am from the UK I could send you a UK sim card as long as you pay for the cost of shipping etc.

Try Samsung first as they maybe able to give you a unlock code which will be a lot faster if it works and if it doesn't I will get a sim card for you and get it sent over.
Questions belong in Q&A, not General.
Thank you.

Can you explain your problem a little better.
Sure thing.
I have this phone and it is locked to the Vodafone network.
I would like to remove the SIM lock so I can use it on any network.

Confused on which rooting guide to follow

So I'm pretty confused there is a lot of information out there and it's conflicting one another in my view. I want to achieve root on my stock rom and possibly be able to flash custom roms. My situation is I have the Sony Xperia E3 D2206 model with stock android 4.4.2 and when I punch in the code it says that my bootloader is not unlockable. I have installed flashtool and drivers and tried the "BLU" button and it says it cannot unlock my bootloader.
From my understanding I can still somehow root this phone, can somebody point me to which guide I should follow for my phone?
Thank you.
Can someone weigh in, I'm sitting here a long time with my phone in hand.

Then don't select any wipe option .there is a slight chance of bootloop but you can always flash again with wiping everything clean if that happnes. try to exclude TA partition if it's present and don't worry the risks are really small
Don't forget to use latest version of flashtool
Thank you very much I did every thing and it work fine
