[BOOTANIMATION] Droid Bionic

Simple, Droid Bionic boot animation. It works for me, using XboarderMOD. Place in /data/local or /system/media, depending on ROM. No, it is NOT clockworkmod flashable.

I have the audio file that the bootanimation is suppose to work with so I put the audio file in the same location as the bootanimation but it does not work. Anyone know what I would need to do for the audio to work with the bootanimation?

but ,How to make the sound work ?...

For stock rom:
Installation
1. Download the file(s) to your SD Card
2. Open Root Explorer (or an app like it)
3. Copy the file you wish to move
3. Paste to directory /system/customize/resource
4. Set file's permissions to:
- First Column: all three checked
- Second Column: first one checked only
- Third Column: all three unchecked
5. Reboot to test

check your default.xml in the system/customize/CID and look near the bottom for the bootconfig. line and if you see<BootAnimation animation="/system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip" (this can be different)
(audio="/system/customize/resource/android_audio.mp3" />(could be data/local as well) that part lets you know if you have audio enabled or not. if its there you do and if not then... no

Tests and Report

i let my phone always reboot, just to see this animation!!!

Glad ya guys like it, Motorola phones always have had good boot animations, from the razr to the bionic.

-your phone must be rooted
-rename the bootanimation.zip(downloaded file) to sanim.zip
-backup the original sanim.zip in /system/media
-use root explorer or equivalent to copy the file to /system/media
-change permissions to (where Y is yes )

hey..its does not work ..probably due to different resolution its 1280x720...
I placed it in system/media ..it did not show up
someone has to rescale it...

can you try to rename it to sanim.zip..

IMHO I am not impressed by Nexus Prime boot animation. I am not sure if it is the real one or a fake. Looks cluttered and random!!! I like the droid bionic and nexus S boot animation..

there is no sanim.zip file in /system/media but i have ODEAnim.zip i tried to name the downloaded file with both names . buts its not working for me I want to know where i'm going wrong

[BOOT ANIMATION] Avengers Boot animation

This is the Marvel Avengers boot animation found at the beginning of the movie THE Avengers
How to install:
1. Download this boot animation
2. Use Root Explorer to go to /system/media
3. place avengers.zip in and rename it to bootanimation.zip or sanim.zip
4. Reboot and enjoy the boot animation

Will this cause bootloops?
Edit: Nvm It works. Just don't forget to fix permissions to rw-r--r

i want to ask if you have seen , on the v11 when you talk to someone on the line and someone else calls on call waiting you can t change the call .Only if you press the end call and the first line close.If it will work on v12 it will be perfect!

You have to copy to the folders were after extraction of the file from zip u find....Copy all .qmg files to system/media and if overwrite is asked then overwrite it and change permission to rw-r-r and copy PowerOn file to system/audio/ui and change permission to rw-r-r...
