[Q] Volume issue after recent update

Does anyone have a fix for the volume issue after the most recent update from vz? I did one root click, and tried to follow a youtube video for the volume fix, but no "default gain" file was found... Thanks....

[Q] no NFC on liquidsmooth v2.8

so after reading through some of the forums I couldn't find a clear answer. I rooted and rom'd to liquidsmooth v2.8 and now I have no NFC option. I did a clean install and go no error messages. any idea on things I could try, I would like to use google wallet and obviously cant since I cant get NFC
