What's so hard in porting a t mobile rom on 9505? And why does it take more a month. And still no thread funny
Just installed the latest wicked rom as it is posted on tmobile thread. Runs perfect with latest abyss. Delete csc file in system and you have all language. So my question is. What is the point of this thread? It makes me laugh.
What is so special about the tmobile rom and the diffrents about that and the international rom?

Non. It's even using a old firmware on the T-Mobile version. And at the T-Mobile development many roms are based on ower latest international firmware. There is nothing to port. Porting means using firmware from different phone. Just flash it and it's done. Why in the hell need testers.

You can make a tutorial how to flash ROMs from other variants of i9505 like art or sprint in international i9505?

You just have to replace the kernel in the rom cwm.zip file and you are good to go

And always look in updater script of there is no getprop line with device number. Wicked script is OK

No need to. T-Mobile kernels work just fine on internation version. You can always flash i9505 kernel after flashing rom.
So I can just flash wicked rom no problem?

Yes I did and runs fine. Nothing special the rom. Old firmware no apps to SD ect

With new firmware, beweent change log number and build date, which one is more acxurate to indicate that is a newer firmware? Thanks

Not sure why everyone talks about build date.
The changelog is going to be your one guarantee that a firmware is in anyway different or identical to the one you already have
Quite often build dates might be different because of scheduling of the coding etc

Does the region software is designed for (eg Hong Kong vs Europe) have an impact on the phone's functionality and hardware abilities?

All stock can be upgraded without wipe etc. Just use newest rom with odin
Region dont have any difference as long as rom is for your model. Dont try to flash rom for other model. You can eg flash brazilian firmware made for 9505 to simfree uk phone etc.

I've heard about cm11 and 4.4 android kitkat(are these 2 seperate things? or is cm suppose to replace android firmware version)If so, do i need to unroot to update my android?. I would like to update my phone with the latest updates and I do not know where to start, I am still pretty new to all of this and would like to get the most out of it without missing out on anything. Thanks in advance

CM11 is 4.4. To update to 4.4, just do the same thing you did to get CM10. EXCEPT, you need to update your recovery (in the op of the CM11 thread) and the newest gapps (also in op of cm11). Just follow the instructions of the CM11 thread and you'll have it! Keep in mind, CM11 is in the early stages, so there will be bugs. Need anything else, don't hesitate to ask.

T679 is not the same as the t769. Make sure it's t769./Double check your model before you do anything.

Oh no, i have 2 phones, the one im using is samsung s blaze 4g t769 and the one i helped root was t679 which is why i said i got mixed up when making the thread.
I know word on the street is that devs are going to avoid the Note 5 like the plague, but according to THIS thread, the T-Mobile variant has working TWRP and may be close to root:

Good news is you figured it out - congrats. Which one you looking at, the regular or optimized ? I use TW ROMs for the most part and while do not know the difference between optimized or not - am just interested in knowing which one you went with

That isn't how that works if you aren't on MDK!!!! You can't just flash that, you'll softbrick. There is no CM for any build by MDK and you can't downgrade to MDK.

The thing is I have yet to see any working Canadian roms for it except the one I am on now witch is xtrestolite but this one is now outdated.

As am I. You could always install latest stock, and debloat as you see fit. Lots of threads & tools for that.

The problem is I hate stock rom though not just because the bloatware but because I prefer custom roms and the features they bring that Samsung could never put on the table. But thanks anyways.

Um. All S6 ROMs are based on some stock ROM. XtreStoLite is based on an S6 stock ROM. This is due to the chipset in use.

I don't mean this though like in the past I have used stuff lime CM12,CM11, and even cm13 but from what I have seen so far is there arn't many AOSP roms coming to the S6 although I would like to see some that work with my phone. I would be on AOSP if I could
