Hi.
First off all, my English is not soo good.
I have a question about the Cyanogenmod 10. I installed it on my Sony Xperia E single sim (C1505).
After i unlocked my bootloader, i flashed the CWM & then installed CM10 FXP218 nanhu.
Everything works. Camera, bluetooth, gps.... The only problem is, i have no gsm service. I can acces the SIM toolkit, but Android don't ask a PIN code or something. I can see the IMEI code in the settings...
I have no 2G or 3G.
After i restored the original ROM, everything works well...
Whats the problem?
Grtz. Jeff
Me too.. Have you try 219?? I cant down on upload.net , cant test 219
I tried FX219. But it is the same as all others builds.
Bluetooth don't work either... I'm now back on stock rom, and gonna stay on that.
As far as I know, there is no GSM for Xperia E now (you can see it in the changelog of Cm10 by FXP)
FXP team is currently working mostly on high end devices (I presume) so it will be long until we have GSM on our beloved XE *cry*
Sent from my Xperia E using xda premium
Somebody tested FXP 220?
keep your eyes on the bug tracker it will tell you if and what bugs are presant and on the change log for that bug to be fixed. bear in mind FXP have alot of devices to maintain so be patiant.
Pff, can't wait on it!
Stock rom doesn't work so fast...

Have you tried V6 SuperCharger script by zepplinrox it improves performance of stock rom and kernel i made a easy to use tutorial for noobs in general section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2070659
I just checked the Cyanogenmod changelog.
FXP 224 has 800 Mhz for Xperia E:
What means that? GSM Network??
I thinks an under clocking feature

Thank u very much for link yayakuya post works perfectly for ss
battery stuck at 100%
When I flash the singls sim version (from the link in the previous post) on my Xperia E Single Sim C1505, the battery is stuck at 100% and won't charge, not even when the device is turned off. GSM and bluetooth are working fine though. When I flash the FreeXperia version the battery info is correct, but GSM isn't working. Is there something I'm not doing right? I don't suppose there's an easy way to combine the two roms so we can use the gsm fix on the FreeXperia rom or the battery fix on the rom with working GSM..

That's interesting, will try this for sure.
What do you do when you flash it? Wipe dalvik-cache and normal cache?
Oh and what are you using? Just jjm34 his ROM and kernel? Or jjm34 his ROM and hsr0 his kernel?

Less than a month and there's a prototype about CyanogenMod for Xperia M2 Eagle (D2303). But, it's only on Alpha, still too much way to go.
Personally I hope that they fix everything and works fine for go to D2302, D2305 and Eagle Rex (D2306) devices soon.
Either way, great job 'til now!
Guys, it's stated RIL (Mobile Network) is not working in main post. If that, or any other bug presents a problem for you, don't use this build, keep waiting, all, or atleast most of bugs will be squashed soon.
Dual SIM support comes after all bugs listed in 1st post of a thread are fixed.
Does this ROM work on the D2306 model of the Xperia M2 or no?
Lol
Make it official duh :silly:?, cause cm 11.2 will be easier to compile and create whit more devs :highfive:,
one more thing, bring back the original style of xperia roms :good:

Not full. Everything goes fine in Xperia M2 Eagle Rex (D2306) using this CyanogenMod. But, the basebands used on networks connections are differents and there's a problem to solve. That's the only difference between two devices, just the band they use.
So, we must wait for a Xperia M2 Eagle Rex CyanogenMod with the basebands directed to our devices.
I don't even know if using that CyanogenMod will brick your phone, but, I don't think so D:.
Regards
Now this will be an interesting development. Probably it would take some months for a relatively stable and functional build to come out. This based on experience with my previous device.
I hope CM 11 for M2 would be out in time, before 5.0 Lollipop gets the CM treatment.
You can speed things up by helping developers and posting logs of current build. This is based on experience with my previous device.

It will go official after all major bugs are gone, and everything is confirmed working over a few builds.

That's correct. As far as I'm concerned about dual sim support there is a script which will look for a model number and according to that load a RIL driver for SS or DS.

what about the work that ur doing for compiling the camera? is it almost done r smthng?
Welp, Sony's BT drivers suck. That, or the M2 sucks. I'm getting audio skips with my BT headset, just like I do on the stock ROM (and 4.4 is worse than the 4.3 one). Same files played back via headphone out have no skips. The same headphone doesn't have any troubles on the old Xperia Arc and Nexus 7 2013, so it's definitely the M2 at fault here.
Edit: Actually, it's _much_ worse with CM. I'm getting audio skips every 10 seconds, while it's about 1 per minute on official 4.4.2 and about 1 per 30 min on official 4.3... are there any settings you can change with respect to A2DP audio buffers or similar?

Hey guys,
I have to stay with this oldie for a while; can you point me to the newest CM kernel(download link) for the c1505?
Any ROMs you recommend for this device( also, point me to the download!)? Is there MIUI for this device?
One more thingng, I can't find how they call this device + the merged forums make it difficult to find device-related info- is it Sony E or Sony Ex? I bought it as a replacement phone and I have no idea what I'm dealing with here. ^^''' It's always about J or Tipo or miro- not much for c1505. Ain't sure...
Thanks!

Hi!
I don't recommended to use the CyanogenMod kernel because you have to use it only with CyanogenMod ROM and it's buggy (GSM bug in CyanogenMod 10 and camera bug in CyanogenMod 11).
If you want a good, stable and bug free ROM you can try 11.3.a.0.47 deodexed and Odexed stock based with a bIt customization with Zeus Kernel.
I think that you have already unlocked the bootloader, right?
P.S.: Sorry for my bad English.

Nope, didn't figure out how to do it myself- I always get the 'cannot be unlocked the official way' message. I gave up. It always worked for me, never had any trouble, dunno why it doesn't work with this peace of beep. *cries*
Well, I'm not a fan of CM myself- I just figured out CM would be there for taking on this device. Wasn't so sure about other options.
Thanks for the ROM! Gonna check it out- hope there's no gapps there.
Dear All,
Im reading for days but I cannot figure out: What is the most stable KitKat (v4.4.x) version for the Sony Xperia E Dual (C1605). All the versions I see e.g. CM11 are almost one year old with bugs. I like to have the camera working. I also see a lot of FW/ROM cominations. But I don't see a version which is stable and say one or two monds old.
Can someone tell what is the latest most stable KitKat (v4.4.x) ROM (and kernel). I don't need special theams, overclocking, games etc I only need stability at KitKat. And where to download

All KitKat based ROM that there are currently are only for single Sim version and no one is stable because port KitKat on an old device is difficult. Try stock based ROM and you will not be disappointed (I hope).
Thank you very much for your answer.
Ok that's why I didn't succeeded. I tried several roms and kernels but none of them worked with dual sim or where 4.4.
I now recovered with flashmode and C1605_11.3.A.3.1_CE.ftf. Hopefully this also restores the kernel and wipes all previous settings?
I hope it will work better now. My xperia rebooted automatically so now and then (especially after power down) and I had hoped to solve it with a new ROM. Because it's not the battery or battery contacts.

When you flash a firmware it'll reset all your settings, contacts, etc.
So your device reboot by itself? I never had this problem and I think that you will not solve it flashing another ROM, anyway I recommend to you to try Candy's ROM (by TheBrainCandy).
P.S.: Sorry for my bad English.
