How to root android version 2.3.6 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I really need help to root my android device. If any generous somebody can help me root it safely (without the risk of bricking, viruses or pay) would be very appreciated! I have more info on my phone if you need it but for now: A fast root that isn't to difficult can work or those one click ones? I'm not exposed to all this rooting stuff (I'm a noob) and yeah, go easy on me lol. Also your taste on ROM managers would be awesome. Thank you all forvyour answers!!!

¿Mounting and Unmounting?

Ok I've looked for the answer for this question all over xda with no success... I'm trying to flash a rom, but with all these acronyms and this stuff about mounting and unmounting I'm feeling like an idiot. Can anyone help me understand these mounting issues and flashing a rom finally! I need a super noob guide to do so. Thanks!

Just search for bible in the development section. I would post a link, but I'm on the road all day. There are tons of threads all over xda that answer your questions. If no one else links it or you can't find it, I will post once I'm home.

How do you make a ROM?

I've always had android phones, since the very first one and would love to finally understand how to make a ROM. If anyone has a link to a detailed description of how to make one I'd really appreciate it.

from my understanding it is easier to root what you have than the 4.1.2 method..
Great, but I need some sort of instructions and haven't been able to find any yet

Your help is needed.

Hey guys sorry for another generic root question. I just acquired my GS3 and running 4.3 I did a quick search and couldn't find anything in regards to rooting this on 4.3 everything I've seen is for lower versions. Could someone please direct me to a guide to root this, if possible. Thanks.

Look at the sticky thread in development. It should have everything you need.
Oh, and towelroot works as well apparently.
