Hello is there a way that allows me to made an app launch in smaller window? For example, if I launch the browser, it launches in full screen. However, I would like to make it in a smaller window, just like on my PC. Please note that I am not taking about the Multi-window mode on Touchwiz that makes the window stick on a side of the screen. I am talking about a centered window. Thanks for suggestions.

As for browser, doesn't the Note II have a popup browser that can be centered on the screen in a mini window?
Smilarly, you can try using "Floating Apps" on the Playstore also.
For getting other apps in miniwindow mode, you could try ParanoidAndroid's Halo feature. For that, you would need to flash a PA ROM. :good:

Hello guys, lets discuss what app you would want the developers to make!
Well starting with my opinion i would want the devs to make an app to enhance multi touch functionality, i mean how about when you are using some application you just pinch the screen with four fingers to open recent apps log! And then zooming the app opens it, while sliding it down or up, force closes it.. wouldn't that be great!

Hi just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this random menu bar that's appeared on my phone? I've closed all applications with es task manager and it's still there. I'm running Jellybeans on a galaxy note 2
If anyone can direct me where to get rid of it would be most appreciated.
Cheers guys!
Do you mean the bar on the side with the icons?
I think the phone has TSF shell launcher, try a launcher like apex or nova

If that doesn't work you can try this app
I had a app popup as the playstore, and it was a spam type popup from an app i installed a long time ago, DOWNLOAD AIRPUSH detector also as a double check if experience any abnormal popups to your GUI . it found the app and i uninstalled it ASAP (it was a workout app)
That popup is not abnormal, it is a feature of the last update. It's called multi-card, and allows you to manage 2 or more applications simultaneously on the screen; if you drag one of the icons on the desktop it opens the corresponding application, and if you drag another will open the new application under the one that is opened before
That's amazing cheers guys! It was properly bothering me becaues it would pop up every now and then and I didn't know why!
Is it possible to add other applications to the selection to use in multi windows?

No, for now, the apps supported are only the ones you see
I love the new ideas for MW. I have a suggestion, if you swipe up (or left in portrait) the bottom app replaces the top one and left or right would remove it from the stack. It would be consistent with the card ui. Also I'm a fan of halo as a notification manager, but I don't like the floating window for multi-tasking. Would it be difficult to open the notification in multi-window instead?

Also instead of long pressing on the recent app to add an app to the split screen, maybe a small app that is essentially just an app drawer would be a smoother alternative.

1- navigation bar multiwindow button (to be long pressed)
2- all apps displayed in two split screens
3- clicked app opens on the respective side of the screen.

Earlier i has designed the multi window button in the top left side of the "recent apps"screen. but that increases the number of click. I thought multi window should be fast and seamless.

That's why I would make an app drawer. it would be one click and the first app in the stack could be used to launch any others. Plus it can be launched with a quick gesture in most launchers

So you mean Pen Window and Multi window? If you are not rooted, MW-PEN App Enabler is one solution.
No I have root and all my apps available for multi window already. I am talking about when you have the multi window bar open, instead of dragging an app into multiwindow, you can tap it and it will create a pop up window. I guess this is the same as pen window so I would like to expand the options for either or both.

Try Pen Window Manager. Run it, select your app you want support for, click the save button on the upper right, reboot, then go into the side bar and add the app to the side bar using the edit function. Works for both pen and pop-up function but not for all apps. Be aware that every time an application you enable gets updated it will have to be re-enabled.

The app imitates the beheaviour of Air Gesture from Galaxy S4 (some options need root like gallery swipe and browser scroll) It also emulates Quick Glance, Air Call accept etc etc..
You can also control your music/video players, start your desired app on a move, switch to previous apps, jump to launchscreen....you can check the features bellow.
I had the s4 and remember this. I now have the s5. Did it not come with this? I can't remember where the setting was on the s4 to look on my s5.

S5 comes with it, called Air Wake UP. But this APP offers more functions such as you can hovering your hand above screen to lock it.
I like it. One thing though....is there a way to disable it showing on status bar as running?
