Hello
I'm digging through forum and can't find a place to discuss ebook readers Android based and software to share, convert ebooks. Can you recommend proper place, or maybe another forum?
I have a few questions like how to filter google play books by language, how to connect cool reader with own Calibre, what format to choose, how to write so called "scrapers" for books etc.

Hi
I would like for get an application that would read (vocally) ebooks or pdf files. Any suggestion on which application to use?
Does anyone know what file format(s) the kindle app and google books app uses?

The kindle uses mobi files, not sure about google.
Most likely would use something like epub or pdf for Google I can't see Google locking down the ability to import book files.
But if it comes down to it Aldiko Book Reader has been a pretty good reader for me and offers option to import epub and pdf files and has access to free bookstores where you can get classic books like Alice in Wonderland and the likes.
Do a search on the market for "Aldiko Book Reader" as I can't post a link to it
Most pdf files i think
So I dropped some PDF and epub files on my internal storage but I can't get them to show up in google books. I am assuming I need to put them in a specific folder but I can't seem to find that folder. Anyone know what/where it is? Or what exactly I need to do to get them to show up in G-Books ?

Unless the books are drm free, Google, nor any other reader besides the one it's locked down to, will not be able to view them.

It is not hard for you to observe that the majority of the books you got from online ebook stores are ACSM format but not the Common EPUB or PDF format we frequently used. We will recommend you a new way about how to convert ACSM to EPUB or PDF in this wee essay so that you can read books on more readers like iPad, iPhone and other computers.
so you can go to epubsoft homepage to check the guide item, then you will find the way easily.

wt* is acsm, i've never seen any ebooks in that format, the majoriy of the ebooks are ebub
How to convert acsm to pdf
1. Want to read acsm on computer (Win/ Mac), we just have to open it with Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Want to read ACSM on iPad, iPhone and even on Kindle, open it with ADE is the basic work. But you have to check out that if they are protected with Adobe DRM which makes it difficult for us to read them on non-Adobe eReaders.
So the post below may perfect your opinions I think.
