Some help with nfs shift

Hi guys. Just bought nfs shift.
Anyways in one of the games screenshots I saw in car view in which you see the steering wheel and the gauge. How do you get that view? Thanks

On xda, there is ripped apk of nfs shift from droid which is demo version but you can unlock it

to change the camera view, press the little camera on a tri-pod (next to the speed gage) took me a while to find it too haha

I have samsung galaxy 3 with 240*400 resolution android eclair. When i run nfs shift, the colors are inverted, i mean graphics are not displayed. Please assist

Hey, i have installed NFS Shift on my P500 & have also downloaded the game data.
But after downloading the data, when i ran the game, Only EA games logo appears & then the screen turns blank, after that it automatically exits.
PLEASE HELP ME TO GET RID OF THIS PROBLEM, I REALLY LIKE THIS GAME AND WANT TO PLAY IT, PLEASE HELP..............................................

Change Shoulder Buttons

This is the official thread for the "Change Shoulder Buttons" app.
Compatibility:
At this point it looks like the app fully works for some devices, partially works for others, and not at all for some. Different ROMS may also affect functionality.
I am currently working on a "configuration" option which will allow users to calibrate the app for their specific device.

Description:
This app will allow you to use the shoulder buttons (L and R) of the Xperia Play for different functions.
You can use them to:
None: Stops the service. Shoulder buttons will stay at default.
Media: L will be previous and R will be next for media.
Camera: R will be focus and take picture.
Volume: L will be volume up and R will be volume down.
Up/Down: L will be up and R will be down.
Navigate: L will be browser back and R will be browser forward.
Advanced:
Tasker Support! (Kinda)
To change button modes do the following:
Action -> Misc -> Action Intent
Action: "com.hatcyl.android.Change_Shoulder_Buttons.ACTION_CHANGE_MODE"
Extra: "Mode:XXXXX"
See screenshot, no quotes, case sensitive.
Note: The game function of the buttons never get disabled. This app just listens for those buttons and then executes a command.

How about assigning the keys for volume control? In book reading Apps, L and R are much more convenient than the volume buttons when I have to flip the page.
A widget for quick mode switching could be nice as well.

Sure I can add that. But remember, a restart is still required.
Widget, probably not ... or maybe later ... im not so good with them.

Nice app...but when I set the shoulder buttons for media it keeps skipping and rewinding music when I'm playing a game... Lol.

You mean because you press L and R right?
Once I figure out how to change the buttons without a restart then we could use something like Tasker to change them based on different conditions. Camera if CAMERA is open, Music only if music app is opened, Game otherwise. Or maybe just manually change them faster.

Yeah it's when I press the L and R.
Oh ok...I'm not too familiar with changing stuff on my Play yet so I'm still learning as I go but great app nonetheless.

any way to achive this without restart? Would it work if you assign each button to a separate app (similary to assigning to camera currently I assume and probably restart first time only). The app you assign simply check what is required in an extra config file which can be changed on the fly without need to restart. Is this possible at all or is there a particular limitation how android works with those buttons? Thanks in advance

Yup, I actually posted that in the OP.
It hasn't been working for some people including me, maybe different models are different.
Anyways, if this app sells at all that developer will be first in the donate list along with the guy who found a way to use the official PSX emulator with custom images.

This is coming soon, it was in the market description but I posted it in the OP.
About your idea, it wouldn't work for two reasons.
1. You can't assign a button to an app (that I know of)
2. You wouldn't want to open an app every time you hit a button (especially when playing a game) it would be too slow.
I am exploring two ideas to get this working.
1. Find what causes those files to be loaded. Find away to restart that and force it to load the files again.
2. A much harder way, but this one will work for sure (I've got a proof of concept but no time yet.)

Can you add functionality to the default web browser? Like make L be the back button and R be the Forward button?
I really liked that function on my PSP browser (years ago when I used it every so often).
Also, add the functionality to the default Launcher? L for next left screen, R for next right screen. I'm not sure if either of these is even possible, but just throwing some ideas at you!

Take that even further, how about a completely Xperia-Play optimized launcher? ADW is open source if not mistaken.

Ha ha, you guys are trying to change a simple file edit into a full blown alternate OS.

I'd settle for the web browser L and R function

I will settle for pgdown pgup or even dpadup and down for shoulder buttons as long as they don't overwrite their function implemented already in games, emulators and camera mod apps. There is another post regarding shoulder buttons for ereaders - i'm away from my pc so cannot link - but it recommends another app there too.

Sorry, the files are different in 2.3.2 vs 2.3.3.
I will disable the app for now. I deserve that 1 star rating for that.
Anyways, download the attached file, extract the file inside and copy it (using any file manager, I use EStrong) to /system/usr/keylayout override any existing file.
Reboot afterwards, this should fix your issue.
Again sorry, I'm bringing the app down for now. I'll almost done with a big update that will not require restarts anyways.

Hi, a while ago a friend of mine downloaded a game from google play,and now that i have ana android i wantet the game but he completely deleted it and does not remebre the name of the game.
Ok so the main objective in the game is to protect the doors of a castle.
You could spawn on certain places(ok everywhere except the path) 6 character.
The first 3 are a Knight whose color is blue i belive,an archer who is green and a mage who uses ice magic,blue i think.The second 3 are a litle different becouse you needed to purches them with litle blue dimonds they are basicly the same ecsept the colors.The knight was red as well as the mage,but i dont remember the archer.
You could also upgrade them so they atk spd,power and etc. increeses.
A litle about the game:from what i remember when he started the game there was like a landscape at the backround and you had to choose a castle icon which were the various chalanges to start.
The monsters that atacked were manny,i only remember a few:
An ice monster,rock monster,bat-sort(or dragon),orcs and i dont remember anything else.
If anyone knows the name of the game or similar games please share!

Mage defense is the closest one to the one i am looking for but its not it,the game im looking for has better graphics!
You are supposed to guard wooden doors and there are 6 characters!

Go to Play store with PC and log in with friend account. Click something called installed apps or something and there is a list of every ever installed app. Also the uninstalled ones are there

[APP][2.2+] Media Control

I have once created an app very similar to this but limited. I finally got around to making it better. I must say its pretty awesome now
Simply install the attached APK, open it, and either create your notification, or set up the auto method. Then Control your media
Very simple to use and easy to love
Should work with all media apps including Pandora
UPDATE 10-3-13 v1.0.1:
-Fixed layout issue on MDPI devices (i hope)
-Fixed force close issue

Works well enough, but could be improved. Shows pause button even when no music is playing, so should show play button. Also, icon is bland. But as I said, works o.k

Needs more improvement:
1. Shows really big buttons on my MDPI phone (LG Optimus L3).
2. Application has resolution incompatibility when opened (Texts inside overlaps).
3. Suggestion: Enable to add custom buttons (Shuffle / Repeat / Vol+ / Vol-) on notifications.
4. Suggestion: Change App Icon.
But it works. That's a good sign! But again, I'm gonna uninstall it first, aince its pretty unstable on its first stage. Will keep track for updates!

The only way to detect when music starts playing is a very hacky and resource hungry way that i would prefer not to use. So I set the button to pause assuming you are going to be listening to music anytime soon... And whats wrong with the icon?

you need to download a app called game cih from net Google.
open Game Chi.
Press home..
open The Game...
you will see some Game Chi overlay in ur game.
Start the game (start playing)
remember ur score (money etc.)
press on the overlay. press on the magnifing glass.
select INPUT NUMBER.
Enter Score.
Select Back
then again play the game.when ur score is increased, come back to overlay.
select magnifing glass icon. then press [+] plus on it.
Select Back
then again play the game.when ur score is increased, come back to overlay.

repeat the steo until u get less option to change the value.
select the value u want to change that is same as the score.
change the value to desired no.
bingo!.. u r done go to the game and keep playing.. and u ll get what u wanted..

I don't think GameCIH works on Android 3.0 and up or something. In KitKat, I've tried Game killer but the icon is disappearing.

tried it on ICS and JB..
it works u only need Root....
i think u didnt had root thaty it didnt work.. give root permission and it works.....
