How to make a statusbar theme
1. Use the Omega StatusBar Theme Studio (Easiest)
This is a mode of StudioAndroid.
To go to this mode, run StudioAndroid > Options > Toggle Omega.
The purpose of the Omega Mode is to create themes for Omega Themes on the fly.
1. Download StudioAndroid here.
-Windows-
Download one of the stable updates
Extract in a path without spaces (e.g. NOT in "Documents and Settings")
Double-click StudioWindows.exe
-Lubuntu-
Download the latest update OR one of the stable updates
Extract in your home directory
double-click StudioUnix
-Mac-
install python2.7: 64-bit/32-bit x86-64/i386 / 32-bit i386/PPC
Install this (GTK+ and PyGTK)
Download THIS
Run StudioUnix
2. Run the studio to begin making themes.
3. Click Options > Toggle Omega to get to the omega theme creator.
4. Begin making your own Omega StatusBar Theme.

2. Manually create your own theme from our template
Step 1 - Download the theme template here --> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36068089/Omega%20StatusBar%20Theme%20Template.zip
Step 2 - Open the Theme Template. You can use eclipse if you have that all set up or you can simply just edit it with any text editor and sign it. There are many ways to do it. Search it or contact for help!
Step 3 - Open the Res folder. Choose values, then open the Strings.xml file.
Step 4 - Edit the info about your theme. Such as your website, version info, and most importantly, your theme name!
Step 5 - Go back to the values folder and open the config_values.xml file.
Step 6 - Follow the simple directions and edit the file. This file includes layout info and important settings to make your statusbar unique!
Step 7 - Go back to the values folder again and open the colors.xml file.
Step 8 - Edit the color codes. Awesome site for basic colors --> http://html-color-codes.info/
Step 9 - Simply replace all the images in the drawable folders with yours. Make sure to rename your images properly. And don't forget to properly scale them! If you don't, your theme will look like Sh!t on many devices!
Step 10 - The drawable folder contains a bunch of xml files. These are basic animation files for battery charging. But there is one important file you should edit. The Background Animation. Open statusbar_background_animation.xml. This file contains the sequence of images in an animation and the timing each on takes. Swap out the names for what your background animation images are in order. Then alter the timing each one takes. The higher the value, the longer it takes. Notice how we didn't really do much in this file or add any background animation? Well, the default theme doesn't have one. So just add your own images. Pretty simple, right?
Step 11 - Test, test, test. Make sure everything is working and looks good!
Step 12 - Sign and publish your new theme. Want to make some extra money? Publish to the market. But please make a few free themes per paid theme. Just to help Omega StatusBar grow.
If you get any errors in the res folder, check your images and delete the ds.store file if it shows up. I use Mac

We just published a few themes tonight so they should be available. We are very busy and both full time students so we are relying on you guys to help out making themes! Please.

Easy fix. It is just not picking up your screen dpi correctly. What dpi or size is your screen?

At the moment there are 10 colors of ICS and JB themes (for a total of 20) being released throughout the weekend We're just making a few last minute adjustments but the images are all done so they will be ready very soon. We are also planning on some colored versions of the iPhone theme along with other stock android versions (hc, gb, sense, etc) plus some custom themes. If you have any other ideas let us know but the template is really easy to work with if you want to try creating or porting some themes yourself!

Oh, you mean in the menu? I can add a setting in the about page to adjust the sensitivity. It is a vertical/horizontal scrollview so you can swipe like through pages and scroll up and down for more content. Pretty self explanatory lol.
But, i will fix it.

Note: I do not have an epic anymore, and haven't built this ROM for my device, so please let me know of any bugs you encounter as I will not be able to find any. Also, nexus modem users should be able to flash the cm10.1 patch on this rom. If not, I can make one.

You probably need to flash the cm alternate carrier zip to get the correct apns and PPP configs.

yeah, already tried flashed that.
it was the one for ICS, but it worked on Avatar Rom, dont know why it wouldnt work on this rom.

Thanks for the new ROM, nice & clean, fast & fluid. No issues to report, except dock icons do not seem to be scaling when changed in ChaOs launcher settings.

The 3 pix in op the 1 on the right shows volume slider under toggle tiles/squares I couldn't find that anywhere how do I get that there's 3 different sliders I want it

Is there a way to get a navbar on this? My hardware keys are broke. Tried qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 in build.prop, wouldn't boot.
Any ideas guys? This rom looks dope but not having a navbar is a pain when your cap keys are broke, plus there's something in the op about a navbar, am I missing something? Cuz I can't find anything about a navbar in the settings. :/

Chameleon OS (or ChaOS for short) is a custom Android ROM that gives the user more control than they can experience on any other Android ROM. Starting with a CyanogenMod base, we customize each piece to give ultimate control while maintaining the simplicity we all love about Android. The most notable feature of ChaOS is the theme engine, which can apply different pieces of themes in a true mix-and-match style. Downloaded and have been using this since last night and its great
Chameleon launcher is mostly like trebuchet only with few minor changes
sidebar is cool inbuilt feature which might become annoying on our little screen
It is definitely smoother than cm10.1 (courtesy to GPU OC)
MiUi theme manager is (of course) the icing on the cake! And its beautiful..Yu can mix and match different themes taking any aspect (framework, status bar, wallpaper, ringtone, icons, fonts, etc) of any theme and mix it with other themes! Must say this theme manager is the most advanced theme manager I've ever seen

+1, doesnt boot at all, i performed clean install and got black screen after htc logo. I use TWRP 2.6, anyone here know how to make this ROM to boot??????

+1, doesnt boot at all, i performed clean install and got black screen after htc logo. I use TWRP 2.6, anyone here know how to make this ROM to boot??????

At first there was status 7 error it was removed by deleting apps from zip
now after splash screen there is a blank screen not even turn on (like a dead phone)

I have tried with cwm now and flash BaNKs gapps and still nothing, only black screen like phone is dead, no bootanimation, no nothing...

see the logcat do u think it will boot ever first the system size is more than 200 mb after extraction rest is in log

Instead of compiling 3 buggy rom in 30 min ,compile 1 rom without bugs

@nolinuxnoparty, please remove thread. You cannot randomly compile Roms for any device you want unless you have the device. You may bloody hell be amazing, but this way, you are causing problems too all. @jotha

Update: Pretty good, adding tablet ui is definitely a good move, it has some nice features and it has been smooth for now. Loving everything about the theme, bootanimation, theme choser(this ROM has one of the best), and the downloads are good. Even if this is still a beta, it looks compromising, try it out guys.

Thanx for that heads up. Fixed now.

I clean flashed this. I love it. BUT there does appear to be one issue.
When I reboot the tablet, as it loads up and I see the main screen, I get a force close on the Cham Launcher. Once I hit ok, that message goes away and I function normally after that.

Flo or Deb? could you provide a logcat? Do you have any user profiles created? I never saw a FC on Cham Launcher and i did a few reboots.

Depending on when you get home(or eitherway) you might want to wait untill i get home as a new build will be out to fix user profile creation. Thats in about 5h

It is using CM source for device files and kernel.

New build uploading. Only change is that user profiles can now be created without FC's. theme engine still does not play well with profiles.
New deb build has same name because the old one was built after 12am but it is new

Thanks for a fantastic rom! Nice designer, speede, stable and smotth.
Only battery life is not on top compaired for example with Vanir rom.

Will try tonight with deb version but I desperatly need DT2W - very useful option with our hidden power button. And unfortunately I have not found kernel for deb for CAF with support of this feature

Hm, can not make it boot on my deb - stack with Google logo or black screen after 2 or 3 minutes. Cache and Dalvik wiped - still Google logo. What is wrong?

In Active Display I get the message -Surching for GPS-.
What`s for and how can I stop, inactivate, only this services?
