I know it's anoying but the thing is i can't unlock my fastboot... i need to find a way to unlock my fastboot, without that i can't unlock the bootloader and without both i can't root my phone!! My phone is a Xperia J by Vodafone... i tired to search the internet for an answer! can anyone help me?? :S can any good soul tell me how to put my fastboot working??

Then download this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4brgav6el4x37ur/ST26.rar
Extract it and copy ST26 folder to flashtool/devices. Now run flashtool, and he will check that folder and will write if its ready And this is it. Now you fastboot will working for ever
try that... didn't work either -_- god why this phone is so hard :s
I tried to reboot through the flashtool and then also tried to clicking up vol button but doesn't work no blue led -_-
Dude....is it said on your phone that your bootloader is unlockable???
If not you won't be able to get in fastboot

no drag ftf file in flashtool window then click ok in the next window wait for files to finish preparing then when prompt comes up hold vol- key while inserting the usb cable then GREEN LIGHT WILL SHOW keep hold until flashing starts then when its finished VIOLA!! back to stock rom Flash mode (green light) is needed for flashing stock firmware not fastboot mode (blue light) is for custom kernels or any boot.img

i dont no if relocking bootloader will enable you to us pc companian. my j has bootloader still locked because its branded
this guide is for anyone having trouble unlockin bootloader.
note: unlocking bootloader voids your warranty but hey you can relock your bootloader and your phone is under warranty once again
note : after unlocking bootloader of Xperia e c1504/1505 c1504 goes into bootloop and in some cases c1505 also faces bootloop.so backup all your data.
1)- open the dialler
and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access
the service menu. In your device, tap Service info >
Configuration > Rooting Status . If
Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes,
then you can continue unlocking your phone..
if its no then please stop and don't try the next steps.
2)- go to developer options in your phone and enable usb debugging and in security options tick on allow installation of non market apps.
3)- download http://adbdriver.com/upload/AdbDriverInstaller.exe and install adb drivers installer on pc,open it and connect your phone to pc and install the adb drivers.
4)- download flashtool http://androxyde.github.io/index.html?1350585408000 and install on pc.
5)-open flashtool folder>flash tool drivers>flash tool drivers and then select fastboot drivers and flashmode drivers and install them.

The latest Flashtool (v0.9.11.0) has "BLU" menu to make Lock/Unlock bootloader more easier.
the simple step :
1. Set up Flashtool to be ready for your device.
2. Refer to the SONY link provided in OP, and get your bootloader key
3. Connect your phone to Flashtool.
4. Click the "BLU" and follow the step.

okay your next question is quite good. first when I unlocked my bootloader and faced bootloop. I got my phone a Sony service centre. the guy there took my phone on warranty and tried to reinstall software through sus (works only on locked bootloader). then when he was unsuccessful he told me software modified and I got my phone back
so I don't think you will have any issue with warranty.
you can get any Xperia phone's bootloader key in your inbox just by knowing its imei.
so no issues at all.
P.S : rooting can also be done on a locked Xperia e

dude i tried the steps you have mentioned but according to the official website of sony after unlocking the bootloader of the 2013 devices the factory data formats and also the settings due to which during flashing the stock rom the flashtool fails and shows that device is connected without usb debugging. now you tell me what should i do.

Dude to flash stock ftf you need not enable usb debugging.
Power off, click flash, connect phone in flashmode..

no dude this is the first time i have done it i have bought it just two months ago and now i want it to be rooted as i know what all potential my phone is having if i get full control on it i have done all these stuff with samsung devices which generally dont have bootloader. Dude in that thread it is clearly explained how to flash your phone with ftf..click thunder select flashmode,select ftf,click flash, wait till it asks you to connect device,power off connect in flashmode....
If u have done these steps correctly u won't have any problems

Hey there, i have rooted my phone using SRS Root, unlocked my bootloader. But whenever i tried to flash CM10 Rom, the cmd or flashtool keeps telling me ''The device is not ROOTED''. it says my device is not rooted?bullsh*t !. please help, im still a newb at this.
p/s. i've also bricked my phone once, but i did unbricked it. after that, whenever i want to flash using fastboot, it says my device is not rooted. could bricking it be the problem?
Switch off the phone
Extract the CM10 update.zip
Reboot into fastboot (press Vol + key while inserting USB cable)
Kick the Lighting button -> Fastboot Mode -> Flash Kernel.
Chose the boot.img from above extracted file.
Reboot the Phone, keep continously pressing vol - key while the Sony Logo appears.
Install from Zip, chose the complete update.zip from above.
Wipe Cache/Data.
Your done!

Mate Did u Unlocked ur boot loader if not do it but this voids warrenty be sure that its up to u
Please tell me how are you planning to install cm10. Zip file from cmd????

@Mocton try it this way:
1. Open Flash Tool
2. Turn on USB Debugging on your device
3. Connect your device to your computer
4. Open Flash Tool and click on BLU
5. Disconnect your device and connect it in Flash Mode (Green LED)
6. Select ST26i from Device Selector menu in Flash Tool
7. Enter the IMEI & BL Unlock Key
8. Disconnect your device
9. Hold Vol Up + Connect the USB Cable
10. Click on Unlock button!
Hope this is what I did and worked for me..
Try it and let me know the result!

MAKESURE FLASHMODE & FASTBOOT DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED PROPERLY BEFORE YOU PROCEED

Hello guys, I really need help
I'm at firmware .14
currently using stock ROM, and installed CWM 6.0.4.8
my bootloader is unlocked
the problem occured after I failed install the FXP 322 using CWM
after wipe my data & chace, and choose zip from sd card, installation of ROM was aborted (maybe file is broken)
then, I was about to transfer another FXP 320 to my sd card, then my phone just stuck at Sony Logo
I cant go to CMW or download mode/fastboot.
what should I do now?

My bootloader has been unlocked, I must relock it before flash tft
but my XL cant go to flashmode or download mode
even my XL doesnt detected at PC Companion
now I'm confused ....

much better if u already UBL...if u flash FTF not needed to relock.using flahtool ...using PC companion off course doesn't detected,coz your XL doesn't booting...just try using flash tool!!that problem i ever facing too..

Okay, now try using flashtool. still flashing tft need go to flashmode.
my phone can go to fastboot mode only, cant go to flashmode.
now I'm stuck again.
can someone give me advice?

okay problem solved. somehow I managed into flashboot mode

fastboot mode for flash kernel or sytem like's boot.img and system.img...
flashmode for FTF file...
fastboot press volume up
flashmode press volume down..
hits thank just enough...
