Hello Everyone
I tried installing fly rom v4 which is my 2nd custom rom the first being jaggys rom. The problem is that after installing the fly rom zip my htc gets stuck at the logo and after a while reboots it self into recovery. I installed jaggys rom again which worked without any flaws. I downloaded the rom and tried again still no luck. Any help please

Did u make 1gb sd-ext partition..?

I recently installed this rom and have been trying to change the boot animation, I go into CWM select the boot animation (Razr) but it keeps saying "this version of CWM Manager should be used with cf-root v5.0 or newer, it appears you are running a different kernael, the kernel is: xxlpj-cl140368 [email protected] #3 and the root i used was CF-Root-SGS2_XW_OXA_KK5-v5.0-CWM5.tar, please tell me where i'm going wrong here, thanks
Try rebooting and if it still persits flashing CF-kernel once again.
Hi mate.. i too have the same problem.. I too installed RR v1.0 woth the same kernel..
I was wondering did you manage to sort problem??? as i would be gratful of any advise...

I have been trying many different Rom's from now and then. However, recently i have a problem. I installed XR650 rom v14 after a while i changed the rom around 5 times. Currently, i am using suvi rom v13, whenever i restart or power on my mobile. The XR650's developer name image comes first then only the suvi rom boot animation is appearing. Why this is happening? How to delete the XR650 rom developer boot image.

Upgrade to SUVI v15 it will get fixed as I have included that.... Otherwise you can flash a boot logo which you want...

First, I thought that also but i like ver 13 very much that's why i didn't change to 14 or 15. Moreover, I didn't like the red theme wallpapers. Ok anyway i am downloading it right now. Let see how it works. Thanks for the immediate replay.

its happening because your previous rom's boot logo is still there in your device ...i think you want to get back to stock boot logo if yes then download it from bottom and flash it in cwm

So, my htc explorer have a few problems:
- It's either stuck on the very first htc logo or in bootloop.
-For stock rom {htc_pico_stock_1.43.720.2} & CM9 rom {cm-9-20130304-UNOFFICIAL-pico}......Its stuck in the bootloop.
-For stock rom both {Htc_Explorer_AsiaIndia_stock} & {1.12 or may 1.14}........ Its stuck on the htc logo.
-I have tried both twrp and cwm, none works. Currently I have twrp.
-I can get into the bootloader and then into recovery and can easily flash roms ( which actually don't work )
Any expert bro here that can help me get the phone back to life. Please help out.
use the superwipe 0.5.zip
and then flash the rom

Hi to all.
Please, help me to find out, what is wrong with my HTC Explorer A310e. I'am trying to change the stock 2.3.5 ROM to something more optimized, and stuck with the problem, that device is going to "hang" with almost any ROM After flashing and reboot there is a HTC logo and nothing more happens (I've even waited for 7 hours). The only ROM, that was able to boot for now is the HTC Sense 4.0 Lite Build#14
The device was complettely stock from the manufacturer. What I've already did:
1. Got the boot unlock .bin via htcdev and flashed it via fastboot.exe utility.
2. Flashed CWM 6.0.2.8 for Pico, but it doesn't work - after choosing the "recovery" option in boot menu, I see an HTC logo for a few seconds, then screen goes off. So, I've flashed v5 - it works, but can't install some of Cyanogen-based ROMs with the Status 7 Error.
3. Flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 for Pico. The installation process of Cyanogen-based ROMs is now OK, but phone is not booting (stuck with HTC logo for infinite, or have a bootloop).
4. Tried the superwipe, mentioned in this thread, in various modes (install superwipe, than flash the ROM; install superwipe, reboot recovery, than flash the ROM, etc.), but no result
5. Partitioned SD-card with 1Gb of Ext3 partition + 64Mb swap (via TWRP function).
What I've missed or doing wrong?..
P.S. Sorry for errors, if there are ones, English - it's not my native language...

Use superwipe and flash stock htc 1.43 version rom, only this one works using twrp. Well i haven't tried Philz recovery, use it, it might work and if it did do tell me. Best of luck

My Phone is Ace Plus GT-S7500
I downloaded a lot of custom roms for my phone
but after flashing any one and its GAPPS
I Got Samsung Logo then white fade ....
i read too much about this problem
I tried to recover boot from my original rom but no change ....
i tried to download alot of roms but the i faced the same problem
i heard that the cause of this Problem is Kernel i Downloaded this one

and here are the steps that i made
1- I flashed CWM V5 using odin
2- Rooted my phone
3- Updated CWM v5 to V6
4- I opened CWM and made factory Reset and cleared Cache & Dalvik Cache
5- Choose the ZIP to install i choose the rom PURE Galaxy
6- Choose the ZIP to install and i choose GAPPS
7- Choose the ZIP to install and i finally choose the custom Kernel that i linked in the first of topic
and my phone started with Android logo the it reboot continuously
what i have to do to made any custom rom working
no rom wants to start
when i didnt make step 7 my phone start at samsung logo then it fade to white
please Help

I too had an ace plus and I too flashed pure galaxy. But I never had the need to flash any kernel. Try flashing stock ROM and again try to flash any custom ROM. If it do work it's good but nothing happens try changing your rooting method...

dude u flashed the kernel which was specifically meant to be for gb, not for jellybean, so this bootloop will occur definitely...jus flash stock and everything is fine then go for other roms and dont flash any other kernel.. jus flash the rom and gapps
use twrp recovery and your steps are correct...and use odin 3.7

I even tried different recovery
Some times the recovery says that flashing finished
But when I reboot the phone it just stays at the sony logo. And when I check the size used in the system partition there is a lot of space left it means the ROM was not installed
All the recovery have this problem. Now I can't flash any zip ( the recovery just reads the update script and shows on the screen ) ? please someone help me

Seems like partition issue. You're wiping all partitions properly before flashing new zip?

I have no idea what's happening with my phone
I did wipe everything except internal and external storage
The recovery is not copying any files to the sys partition
While flashing because of this the recovery just loads and loads for ever but still nothing happens
I'm trying to install cm 12.1 and the recovery is currently paused patching sys unconditionally
Can someone give me link to a good recovery
Except these ?. ?. ?
I have problem with TWRP , CWM , PHILZ
Or any cure

If nothing is working then I'd suggest to flash the stock ROM FTF and see if the device boots, if it does then just download latest TWRP and start flashing!

Tried flashing stock ROM but
It's not booting . And because the cm 12 was stuck at patching sys unconditionally . I decided to install another rom and I found you're prime Xperia LP
. But sadly it was not booting even after a clean installation . It's stuck at the thunder zap logo ??
What to do now

Stock ROM not booting? Hmm..It is sounding more like a hardware issue to me or most probably messed up partition table. Btw you said stuck on thunderzap logo, why are you flashing thunderzap kernel? It is outdated, abandoned and not supported to latest releases anymore.

But I didn't flash thunder zap. I just installed the prime Xperia LP and when I restarted the phone that's when I saw the thunder zap logo
I thought you included it in the ROM

And sometime the recovery dose flash correctly n ROM dose boot but after some time it just hangs and restarts
Then it goes to bootloop almost every has this problem
I installed stryflix ultimate yesterday and the same problem happened to this ROM too. Then I tried to reflash but recovery problems again

Do one thing, download latest twrp from HERE and using the dd method listed there, flash that recovery. Boot to the new recovery and wipe everything (boot,system,data,cache and internal storage). Then download any of the latest ROM e.g. AICP or AOSP-CAF Nougat and flash that. Do these and let me know the result.

I have flashed a mm ROM and fortunately it booted up
And the phone is working. But I don't know for how long
Anyway I installed super user and when I type the commend it is saying
Unknown id: dd ???
Don't know what's the problem but I think that the resource file name was different or something else
Stryder i think that the problem for bootloop is the SIM ?or carrier? . All the rom i flash has RIL problem
And when I reboot my phone without SIM it doesn't stuck. But I can't use the phone without carrier
Is there any solution. And I still couldn't do anything about the dd commend.
