I'm trying to get this WiFi tether set up on my phone but every time I try to start up the tether it says that the tethering started with errors. When I view the log it says that "Configuring AP with maxclient" failed and "Starting AP" failed. I'm running the newest version of cyanogenmod and I'm on Android 4.2.2. How do I fix this?

Hello
Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I'm going to proceed regardless because I'm desperate. I'm having a small problem after flashing the S3 to Cricket. The phone never had a SIM installed and after flashing it all I'm getting is talk and text. I do get 3G after installing the SIM but then it tries to activate the card and my 3G goes away. How the he'll do u stop this or prevent it from happening? My last option is to install a pre activated SIM and see if it takes it. Of course there's the small issue of who's going to lead it to me?
I would sincerely appreciate any help

Never activates!then I tap the four corners of the screen it goes away but still can't connect to my Verizon network? I would really appreciate some help guys. Thank you truly.

I don't know if this helps but... when I was on a custom rom And encrypted my device and tried to flash another rom or update mine. It basically bricked my phone. It would give me error messages about my encrypted device. I was forced to return back to stock via Odin and re-root my phone
